Og heiðingjarnir sem trú hafa tekið segi: „Elska hans varir að eilífu.“

Í angist minni bað ég til Drottins. Hann svaraði mér og frelsaði mig.

Ég er hans! Hvað skyldi ég þá óttast? Hvað geta dauðlegir menn gert mér?

Ég er vinur Drottins og hann hjálpar mér. Óvinir mínir skulu vara sig!

Betra er að treysta Drottni, en að reiða sig á menn.
