೧ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ನಾನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವ ದೇವರೇ, ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಬೇಡ.
2 for lip wicked and lip deceit upon me to open to speak: speak with me tongue deception
೨ದುಷ್ಟರು, ವಂಚಕರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಬಾಯ್ದೆರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಸುಳ್ಳು ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನೊಡನೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

೪ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದರೂ, ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಾನಾದರೋ ನಿನಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

೫ಉಪಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಕಾರವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

೬ದುಷ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನೇಮಿಸು; ತಪ್ಪು ಹೊರಿಸುವವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸು.

೮ಅವನ ಜೀವಿತದ ದಿನಗಳು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಅವನ ಉದ್ಯೋಗವು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗಾಗಲಿ.

೯ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅನಾಥರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಂಡತಿ ವಿಧವೆಯೂ ಆಗಲಿ.

೧೦ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಹಾಳಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವರಂತೆ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಭಿಕ್ಷೆಬೇಡಲಿ.

೧೧ಸಾಲಕೊಟ್ಟವನು ಅವನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಸಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ; ಪರರು ಅವನ ಕಷ್ಟಾರ್ಜಿತವನ್ನು ಸುಲಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.

೧೨ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯಾರೂ ಕೃಪೆತೋರಿಸದಿರಲಿ, ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಯಾರೂ ದಯೆತೋರದಿರಲಿ,

೧೩ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲವಾಗಲಿ; ಎರಡನೆಯ ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅದು ನಿರ್ನಾಮವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಲಿ.

೧೪ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಮರೆಯದಿರಲಿ; ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಪಾಪವು ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗದಿರಲಿ.

೧೫ಅವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೇ ಇರಲಿ. ಆತನು ಅವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲಿ.
16 because which not to remember to make: do kindness and to pursue man: anyone afflicted and needy and be disheartened heart to/for to die
೧೬ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಕರುಣೆ ತೋರಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟನು, ಬಡವನನ್ನು, ದೀನನನ್ನು, ಮನಗುಂದಿದವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿ ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದನು.

೧೭ಶಪಿಸುವುದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಅದೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿ! ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವುದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿರಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಅವನಿಂದ ದೂರವಿರಲಿ!

೧೮ಅವನು ಶಾಪವನ್ನೇ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ, ಅದು ನೀರಿನಂತೆ ಅವನ ಅಂತರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಎಣ್ಣೆಯಂತೆ ಎಲುಬುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೇರಲಿ.
19 to be to/for him like/as garment to enwrap and to/for belt continually to gird her
೧೯ಶಾಪವೇ ಅವನ ಹೊದಿಕೆಯಂತೆಯೂ, ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಆಗಲಿ.

೨೦ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿ ಕೀಳುಮಾತನಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವು ಇದೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿ.

೨೧ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಹಿತಕರವಾಗಿದೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು.

೨೨ನಾನು ಬಡವನೂ, ದೀನನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನಲ್ಲಾ! ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲಗು ನೆಟ್ಟಂತಾಗಿದೆ.

೨೩ಸಂಜೆಯ ನೆರಳಿನಂತೆ ಗತಿಸಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಗಾಳಿಯು ಬಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಮಿಡತೆಯಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
24 knee my to stumble from fast and flesh my to deceive from oil
೨೪ಉಪವಾಸದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಮೊಣಕಾಲುಗಳು ಬಲಹೀನವಾದವು; ನನ್ನ ದೇಹವು ಎಣ್ಣೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕ್ಷೀಣವಾಯಿತು.

೨೫ನಾನು ಜನರ ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವವರು ತಲೆಯಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
26 to help me LORD God my to save me like/as kindness your
೨೬ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡು; ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸು.
27 and to know for hand your this you(m. s.) LORD to make: do her
೨೭ಆಗ ಅವರು ಇದು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಕೆಲಸವೆಂದೂ, ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನೀನೇ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
28 to lighten they(masc.) and you(m. s.) to bless to arise: rise and be ashamed and servant/slave your to rejoice
೨೮ಅವರು ಶಪಿಸಲಿ, ಚಿಂತೆಯಿಲ್ಲ; ನೀನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವಿ. ಅವರು ಎದ್ದು ಅಪಮಾನ ಹೊಂದುವರು. ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ನಾನು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸುವೆನು.
29 to clothe to oppose me shame and to enwrap like/as robe shame their
೨೯ಮಾನಭಂಗವೇ ನನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಸ್ತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ; ನಾಚಿಕೆಯೇ ಅವರ ಹೊದಿಕೆಯಾಗಲಿ.
30 to give thanks LORD much in/on/with lip my and in/on/with midst many to boast: praise him
೩೦ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು; ಜನಸಮೂಹದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸುವೆನು.
31 for to stand: stand to/for right needy to/for to save from to judge soul his
೩೧ಆತನು ದೀನನ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು, ಪ್ರಾಣಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ವಿಧಿಸುವವರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು.
