< Proverbs 2 >

1 son: child my if to take: recieve word my and commandment my to treasure with you
My son, if thou wilt receive my sayings, and, my commandments, wilt treasure up by thee;
2 to/for to listen to/for wisdom ear your to stretch heart your to/for understanding
So that thou direct, unto wisdom, thine ear, bend thy heart, unto understanding;
3 that if: except if: except to/for understanding to call: call out to/for understanding to give: cry out voice your
Yea if, for understanding, thou cry aloud, for knowledge, utter thy voice;
4 if to seek her like/as silver: money and like/as treasure to search her
If thou seek her as silver, and, like hid treasure, thou search for her,
5 then to understand fear LORD and knowledge God to find
Then, shalt thou understand the reverence of Yahweh, and, the knowledge of God, shalt thou find.
6 for LORD to give: give wisdom from lip his knowledge and understanding
For, Yahweh, giveth wisdom, out of his mouth, knowledge and understanding;
7 (to treasure *Q(K)*) to/for upright wisdom shield to/for to go: walk integrity
Yea he treasureth, for the upright, safety, A shield [is he] to them who walk in integrity,
8 to/for to watch way justice and way: journey (pious his *Q(K)*) to keep: guard
To him that observeth the paths of justice, yea, the way of his men of lovingkindness, he doth guard.
9 then to understand righteousness and justice and uprightness all track good
Then, shalt thou understand righteousness and justice, and equity—every noble course.
10 for to come (in): come wisdom in/on/with heart your and knowledge to/for soul your be pleasant
When wisdom entereth thy heart, and, knowledge, to thy soul, is sweet,
11 plot to keep: guard upon you understanding to watch you
Discretion, shall watch over thee, understanding, shall preserve thee: —
12 to/for to rescue you from way: conduct bad: evil from man: anyone to speak: speak perversity
To rescue thee from the way of the wrongful, from the man that speaketh perverse things;
13 [the] to leave: forsake way uprightness to/for to go: walk in/on/with way: conduct darkness
From them who forsake the paths of rectitude, to walk in the ways of darkness;
14 [the] glad to/for to make: do bad: evil to rejoice in/on/with perversity bad: evil
Who rejoice to do wrong, exult in the perversities of the wrongful;
15 which way their twisted and be devious in/on/with track their
Whose paths, are twisted, and they are tortuous in their tracks:
16 to/for to rescue you from woman be a stranger from foreign word her to smooth
To rescue thee, from the woman that is a stranger, from the female unknown, who with her speeches seduceth;
17 [the] to leave: forsake tame youth her and [obj] covenant God her to forget
Who forsaketh the friend of her youth, and, the covenant of her God, hath forgotten;
18 for to sink to(wards) death house: home her and to(wards) shade track her
For she hath appointed, unto death, her house, and unto the shades, her courses;
19 all to come (in): come her not to return: return [emph?] and not to overtake way life
None who go in unto her, come back, neither attain they unto the paths of life:
20 because to go: walk in/on/with way: conduct pleasant and way righteous to keep: obey
To the end that thou walk in the way of good men, and, the paths of the righteous, that thou observe.
21 for upright (to dwell *L(bah)*) land: country/planet and unblemished: blameless to remain in/on/with her
For, the upright, shall abide on the earth, —and, the men of integrity, shall remain therein;
22 and wicked from land: country/planet to cut: eliminate and to act treacherously to pull from her
But, the lawless, out of the earth, shall be cut off, and, traitors, shall they tear away therefrom.
