Proverbs 19

1 pleasant be poor to go: walk in/on/with integrity his from twisted lip: words his and he/she/it fool

١ الْفَقِيرُ السَّالِكُ بِكَمَالِهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِ الْمُخَاتِلِ.

2 also in/on/with not knowledge soul: person not pleasant and to hasten in/on/with foot to sin

٢ لَا يَجْدُرُ بِالْمَرْءِ أَنْ يَخْلُوَ مِنَ الْمَعْرِفَةِ، وَمَنْ يَتَعَجَّلِ الأُمُورَ يُخْطِئِ الْغَرَضَ.

3 folly man to pervert way: conduct his and upon LORD to enrage heart his

٣ عِنْدَمَا تُسِيءُ حَمَاقَةُ الإِنْسَانِ إِلَى حَيَاتِهِ، يَسْخَطُ قَلْبُهُ عَلَى اللهِ.

4 substance to add neighbor many and poor from neighbor his to separate

٤ الْغَنِيُّ يَجْتَذِبُ كَثْرَةً مِنَ الأَصْدِقَاءِ، أَمَّا الْفَقِيرُ فَيَهْجُرُهُ خَلِيلُهُ.

5 witness deception not to clear and to breathe lie not to escape

٥ شَاهِدُ الزُّورِ لَا يَنْجُو مِنَ الْعِقَابِ، وَنَافِثُ الْكَذِبِ لَا يُفْلِتُ مِنَ الْقِصَاصِ.

6 many to beg face of noble and all [the] neighbor to/for man gift

٦ كَثِيرُونَ يَتَمَلَّقُونَ صَاحِبَ النُّفُوذِ، وَالْكُلُّ صَاحِبٌ لِلَّذِي يُغْدِقُ الْعَطَايَا.

7 all brother: male-sibling be poor to hate him also for companion his to remove from him to pursue word (to/for him *Q(K)*) they(masc.)

٧ جَمِيعُ إخْوَةِ الْفَقِيرِ يَمْقُتُونَهُ، فَمَا أَحْرَى أَنْ يَتَهَرَّبَ مِنْهُ أَصْدِقَاؤُهُ؛ يُلاحِقُهُمْ بِتَوَسُّلاتِهِ وَلا يَجِدُ لَهُمْ أَثَراً.

8 to buy heart to love: lover soul his to keep: guard understanding to/for to find good

٨ مَنِ اقْتَنَى حِكْمَةً أَحَبَّ نَفْسَهُ، وَمَنِ ادَّخَرَ الْفَهْمَ يَلْقَى خَيْراً.

9 witness deception not to clear and to breathe lie to perish

٩ شَاهِدُ الزُّورِ لَا يُفْلِتُ مِنَ الْعِقَابِ، وَنَافِثُ الأَكَاذِيبِ يَهْلِكُ.

10 not lovely to/for fool luxury also for to/for servant/slave to rule in/on/with ruler

١٠ لَا يَلِيقُ التَّنَعُّمُ بِالْجَاهِلِ، فَكَمْ بِالْحَرِيِّ أَنْ يَتَسَلَّطَ عَلَى الرُّؤَسَاءِ؟

11 understanding man to prolong face: anger his and beauty his to pass upon transgression

١١ تَعَقُّلُ الإِنْسَانِ يَكْبَحُ غَضَبَهُ، وَبَهَاؤُهُ فِي الْعَفْوِ عَنِ الْخَطَأِ.

12 roaring like/as lion rage king and like/as dew upon vegetation acceptance his

١٢ حَنَقُ الْمَلِكِ كَزَمْجَرَةِ الأَسَدِ، وَرِضَاهُ كَالطَّلِّ عَلَى الْعُشْبِ.

13 desire to/for father his son: child fool and dripping to pursue contention woman: wife

١٣ الابْنُ الْجَاهِلُ مَدْعَاةُ خَرَابٍ لأَبِيهِ، وَمُخَاصَمَاتُ الزَّوْجَةِ كَنَقْرِ قَطَرَاتِ الْمَطَرِ الْمُتَتَابِعَةِ،

14 house: home and substance inheritance father and from LORD woman: wife be prudent

١٤ الْبَيْتُ وَالثَّرْوَةُ مِيَراثٌ مِنَ الآبَاءِ، أَمَّا الزَّوْجَةُ الْعَاقِلَةُ فَهِيَ مِنْ عِنْدِ الرَّبِّ.

15 sluggishness to fall: fall deep sleep and soul: person slackness be hungry

١٥ الْكَسَلُ يُغْرِقُ فِي سُبَاتٍ عَمِيقٍ، وَالنَّفْسُ الْمُتَقَاعِسَةُ تُقَاسِي مِنَ الْجُوعِ.

16 to keep: obey commandment to keep: guard soul: life his to despise way: conduct his (to die *Q(K)*)

١٦ مَنْ يُطِعْ الْوَصِيَّةَ يَصُنْ نَفْسَهُ، وَالْمُتَهَاوِنُ فِي تَصَرُّفَاتِهِ يَلْقَى الْمَوْتَ.

17 to borrow LORD be gracious poor and recompense his to complete to/for him

١٧ مَنْ يَرْحَمْ الْفَقِيرَ يُقْرِضْ الرَّبَّ، وَيُكَافِئْهُ الرَّبُّ عَلَى حُسْنِ صَنِيعِهِ.

18 to discipline son: child your for there hope and to(wards) to die him not to lift: trust soul your

١٨ أَدِّبِ ابْنَكَ مَادَامَ فِي ذَلِكَ رَجَاءٌ، وَلا تَحْمِلْ نَفْسَكَ عَلَى قَتْلِهِ.

19 (great: large *Q(K)*) rage to lift: guilt fine that if: except if: except to rescue and still to add: again

١٩ الْجَامِحُ الْغَضَبِ يَدْفَعُ ثَمَنَ جُمُوحِهِ، وَإِنْ كَبَحْتَهُ أَوِ اعْتَرَضْتَهُ فَإِنَّكَ تَزِيدُهُ سُوءاً

20 to hear: hear counsel and to receive discipline: instruction because be wise in/on/with end your

٢٠ اسْتَمِعْ إِلَى الْمَشُورَةِ، وَاقْبَلِ التَّأْدِيبَ، فَتَكْتَسِبَ حِكْمَةً بَقِيَّةَ حَيَاتِكَ.

21 many plot in/on/with heart man and counsel LORD he/she/it to arise: establish

٢١ كَثِيرَةٌ هِيَ نَوَايَا قَلْبِ الإِنْسَانِ، إِنَّمَا مَشُورَةُ الرَّبِّ هِيَ الَّتِي تَسُودُ.

22 desire man kindness his and pleasant be poor from man lie

٢٢ حُسْنُ الْجَمِيلِ زِينَةُ النَّاسِ، وَالْفَقِيرُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْغَنِيِّ الْكَاذِبِ.

23 fear LORD to/for life and sated to lodge not to reckon: visit bad: evil

٢٣ تَقْوَى الرَّبِّ تُفْضِي إِلَى الْحَيَاةِ، وَصَاحِبُهَا يَبِيتُ مُطْمَئِنّاً وَلا يَنَالُهُ شَرٌّ.

24 to hide sluggish hand his in/on/with dish also to(wards) lip his not to return: return her

٢٤ الْكَسُولُ يَدْفِنُ يَدَهُ فِي صَحْنِهِ وَلا يَرُدُّهَا حَتَّى إِلَى فَمِهِ.

25 to mock to smite and simple be shrewd and to rebuke to/for to understand to understand knowledge

٢٥ اضْرِبِ الْمُسْتَهْزِئَ فَيَتَعَقَّلَ الأَحْمَقُ، وَوَبِّخِ العَاقِلَ فَيَكْتَسِبَ فَهْماً.

26 to ruin father to flee mother son: child be ashamed and be ashamed

٢٦ مَنْ يُخَرِّبْ حَيَاةَ أَبِيهِ، وَيُشَرِّدْ أُمَّهُ فَهُوَ ابْنٌ يَجْلِبُ الْخِزْيَ وَالْعَارَ.

27 to cease son: child my to/for to hear: hear discipline: instruction to/for to wander from word knowledge

٢٧ كُفَّ يَا ابْنِي عَنِ الإِصْغَاءِ إِلَى التَّعْلِيمِ الَّذِي يُضِلُّكَ عَنْ كَلِمَاتِ الْمَعْرِفَةِ.

28 witness Belial: worthless to mock justice and lip wicked to swallow up evil: wickedness

٢٨ الشَّاهِدُ الْمُنَافِقُ يَسْخَرُ مِنَ الْقَضَاءِ، وَفَمُ الأَشْرَارِ يَبْتَلِعُ الإِثْمَ.

٢٩ الْعِقَابُ مُعَدٌّ لِلسَّاخِرِينَ، وَجَلْدُ السِّيَاطِ مُهَيَّأٌ لِظُهُورِ الْجُهَّالِ.
