੧ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਰਦਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਕੋਲ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਿਆ,
2 to command [obj] son: descendant/people Israel and to give: give to/for Levi from inheritance possession their city to/for to dwell and pasture to/for city around them to give: give to/for Levi
੨ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਨਗਰ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ।
3 and to be [the] city to/for them to/for to dwell and pasture their to be to/for animal their and to/for property their and to/for all living thing their
੩ਨਗਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਲਈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇ।
4 and pasture [the] city which to give: give to/for Levi from wall [the] city and outside [to] thousand cubit around
੪ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਓ ਨਗਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਵੱਲ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਹੱਥ ਹੋਵੇ।
5 and to measure from outside to/for city [obj] side east [to] thousand in/on/with cubit and [obj] side south thousand in/on/with cubit and [obj] side sea: west thousand in/on/with cubit and [obj] side north thousand in/on/with cubit and [the] city in/on/with midst this to be to/for them pasture [the] city
੫ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਪੂਰਬ ਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਲ ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਹੱਥ ਮਿਣੋ, ਦੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਲ ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ, ਲਹਿੰਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਲ ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਹੋਵੇ। ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟਾਂ ਹੋਣ।
6 and [obj] [the] city which to give: give to/for Levi [obj] six city [the] refuge which to give: allow to/for to flee there [to] [the] to murder and upon them to give: give forty and two city
੬ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਗਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਓਗੇ ਉਹ ਛੇ ਨਗਰ ਪਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਹੋਣ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖੂਨੀ ਦੇ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਠਹਿਰਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਿਆਲੀ ਨਗਰ ਹੋਰ ਦਿਓ।
7 all [the] city which to give: give to/for Levi forty and eight city [obj] them and [obj] pasture their
੭ਸੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਗਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਓ ਅਠਤਾਲੀ ਨਗਰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਣ।
8 and [the] city which to give: give from possession son: descendant/people Israel from with [the] many to multiply and from with [the] little to diminish man: anyone like/as lip: according inheritance his which to inherit to give: give from city his to/for Levi
੮ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨਗਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਤੋਂ ਦੇਣੇ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੇ ਦਿਓ। ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵੇ।
9 and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
੯ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ,
10 to speak: speak to(wards) son: descendant/people Israel and to say to(wards) them for you(m. p.) to pass [obj] [the] Jordan land: country/planet [to] Canaan
੧੦ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ, ਜਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਰਦਨ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘੋ
11 and to meet to/for you city city refuge to be to/for you and to flee there [to] to murder to smite soul: person in/on/with unintentionally
੧੧ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਨਗਰ ਠਹਿਰਾਓ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਪਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਹੋਣ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਖੂਨੀ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਵੇ ਜਿਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
12 and to be to/for you [the] city to/for refuge from to redeem: avenge and not to die [the] to murder till to stand: stand he to/for face: before [the] congregation to/for justice: judgement
੧੨ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਨਗਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਨਾਹ ਲਈ ਹੋਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਖੂਨੀ ਮਰ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਉਹ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
13 and [the] city which to give: give six city refuge to be to/for you
੧੩ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਗਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦਿਓ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਛੇ ਨਗਰ ਪਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਹੋਣ।
14 [obj] three [the] city to give: give from side: beyond to/for Jordan and [obj] three [the] city to give: give in/on/with land: country/planet Canaan city refuge to be
੧੪ਤਿੰਨ ਨਗਰ ਯਰਦਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਨਗਰ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਠਹਿਰਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਹੋਣ।
15 to/for son: descendant/people Israel and to/for sojourner and to/for sojourner in/on/with midst their to be six [the] city [the] these to/for refuge to/for to flee there [to] all to smite soul: person in/on/with unintentionally
੧੫ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਲਈ, ਪਰਦੇਸੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਇਹ ਛੇ ਨਗਰ ਪਨਾਹ ਲਈ ਹੋਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਵੇ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਵੇ।
16 and if in/on/with article/utensil iron to smite him and to die to murder he/she/it to die to die [the] to murder
੧੬ਪਰ ਜੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਖੂਨੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਖੂਨੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ।
17 and if in/on/with stone hand: tool which to die in/on/with her to smite him and to die to murder he/she/it to die to die [the] to murder
੧੭ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੱਥਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਮਰ ਸਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਖੂਨੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਖੂਨੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ।

੧੮ਜਾਂ ਜੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲੱਕੜੀ ਦੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਮਰ ਸਕੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਖੂਨੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਖੂਨੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ।
19 to redeem: avenge [the] blood he/she/it to die [obj] [the] to murder in/on/with to fall on he in/on/with him he/she/it to die him
੧੯ਖੂਨ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਆਪ ਉਸ ਖੂਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟੇ।
20 and if in/on/with hating to thrust him or to throw upon him in/on/with ambush and to die
੨੦ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੈਰ ਨਾਲ ਧੱਕਾ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਂ ਘਾਤ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ
21 or in/on/with enmity to smite him in/on/with hand his and to die to die to die [the] to smite to murder he/she/it to redeem: avenge [the] blood to die [obj] [the] to murder in/on/with to fall on he in/on/with him
੨੧ਜਾਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਮਾਰੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ, ਉਹ ਖੂਨੀ ਹੈ। ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਜਦ ਕਦੀ ਉਹ ਲੱਭੇ ਉਸ ਖੂਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟੇ।
22 and if in/on/with suddenness in/on/with not enmity to thrust him or to throw upon him all article/utensil in/on/with not ambush
੨੨ਪਰ ਜੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਧੱਕਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਘਾਤ ਲਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੁਝ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
23 or in/on/with all stone which to die in/on/with her in/on/with not to see: see and to fall: fall upon him and to die and he/she/it not enemy to/for him and not to seek distress: harm his
੨੩ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਮਰ ਸਕੇ ਵੇਖੇ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਨਾ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
24 and to judge [the] congregation between [the] to smite and between to redeem: avenge [the] blood upon [the] justice: judgement [the] these
੨੪ਤਾਂ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਖੂਨ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕਰੇ।
25 and to rescue [the] congregation [obj] [the] to murder from hand to redeem: avenge [the] blood and to return: rescue [obj] him [the] congregation to(wards) city refuge his which to flee there [to] and to dwell in/on/with her till death [the] priest [the] great: large which to anoint [obj] him in/on/with oil [the] holiness
੨੫ਅਤੇ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਉਸ ਖੂਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਛੁਡਾ ਕੇ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੋੜ ਦੇਵੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਭੱਜ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੱਕ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤੇਲ ਨਾਲ ਮਸਹ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਵੱਸੇ।
26 and if to come out: come to come out: extends [the] to murder [obj] border: boundary city refuge his which to flee there [to]
੨੬ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਕਦੀ ਉਹ ਖੂਨੀ ਪਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੱਠਾ ਸੀ ਜਾਵੇ।
27 and to find [obj] him to redeem: avenge [the] blood from outside to/for border: boundary city refuge his and to murder to redeem: avenge [the] blood [obj] [the] to murder nothing to/for him blood
੨੭ਅਤੇ ਖੂਨ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਦੀ ਹੱਦੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਮਿਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਖੂਨ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਉਸ ਖੂਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਖੂਨ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
28 for in/on/with city refuge his to dwell till death [the] priest [the] great: large and after death [the] priest [the] great: large to return: return [the] to murder to(wards) land: country/planet possession his
੨੮ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ, ਪਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਉਹ ਖੂਨੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੜ ਜਾਵੇ
29 and to be these to/for you to/for statute justice: judgement to/for generation your in/on/with all seat your
੨੯ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬਿਧੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਓਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇ।
30 all to smite soul: person to/for lip: word witness to murder [obj] [the] to murder and witness one not to answer in/on/with soul: person to/for to die
੩੦ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੇ, ਉਹ ਗਵਾਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ, ਪਰ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੀ ਗਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ।
31 and not to take: recieve ransom to/for soul: life to murder which he/she/it wicked to/for to die for to die to die
੩੧ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਖੂਨੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਦਾ ਜੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਨਾ ਲਓ, ਜੋ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇ। ਉਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ।
32 and not to take: recieve ransom to/for to flee to(wards) city refuge his to/for to return: return to/for to dwell in/on/with land: country/planet till death [the] priest
੩੨ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਨਾਹ ਨਗਰ ਨੂੰ ਭੱਜ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆ ਵੱਸੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੋਈ ਜੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਨਾ ਲਓ।
33 and not to pollute [obj] [the] land: country/planet which you(m. p.) in/on/with her for [the] blood he/she/it to pollute [obj] [the] land: country/planet and to/for land: country/planet not to atone to/for blood which to pour: kill in/on/with her for if: except in/on/with blood to pour: kill him
੩੩ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹੋ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਖੂਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੂਨ ਵਹਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਖੂਨ ਵਹਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਖੂਨ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਚਿਤ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
34 and not to defile [obj] [the] land: country/planet which you(m. p.) to dwell in/on/with her which I to dwell in/on/with midst her for I LORD to dwell in/on/with midst son: descendant/people Israel
