Numbers 31
1 and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
Le Seigneur parla encore à Moïse, disant:
2 to avenge vengeance son: descendant/people Israel from with [the] Midianite (after *L(P)*) to gather to(wards) kinsman your
Venge d’abord les enfants d’Israël des Madianites, et après cela tu seras réuni à ton peuple.
3 and to speak: speak Moses to(wards) [the] people to/for to say to arm from with you human to/for army: war and to be upon Midian to/for to give: put vengeance LORD in/on/with Midian
Et aussitôt Moïse: Armez, dit-il, pour le combat, des hommes d’entre vous, qui puissent exercer la vengeance du Seigneur sur les Madianites.
4 thousand to/for tribe thousand to/for tribe to/for all tribe Israel to send: depart to/for army: war
Que mille hommes de chaque tribu soient choisis du milieu d’Israël pour être envoyés à la guerre!
5 and to commit from thousand Israel thousand to/for tribe two ten thousand to arm army: war
Et ils donnèrent mille hommes de chaque tribu, c’est-à-dire, douze mille tout prêts pour le combat,
6 and to send: depart [obj] them Moses thousand to/for tribe to/for army: war [obj] them and [obj] Phinehas son: child Eleazar [the] priest to/for army: war and article/utensil [the] holiness and trumpet [the] shout in/on/with hand his
Que Moïse envoya avec Phinéès, fils d’Eléazar, le prêtre; il lui remit aussi les vases saints et les trompettes pour en sonner.
7 and to serve upon Midian like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses and to kill all male
Lors donc qu’ils eurent combattu contre les Madianites, et remporté la victoire, ils tuèrent tous les mâles,
8 and [obj] king Midian to kill upon slain: killed their [obj] Evi and [obj] Rekem and [obj] Zur and [obj] Hur and [obj] Reba five king Midian and [obj] Balaam son: child Beor to kill in/on/with sword
Et leurs rois, Evi, Recem, Sur, Hur et Rébé, cinq princes de la nation; ils tuèrent aussi par le glaive Balaam, fils de Béor.
9 and to take captive son: descendant/people Israel [obj] woman Midian and [obj] child their and [obj] all animal their and [obj] all livestock their and [obj] all strength: rich their to plunder
Et ils prirent leurs femmes, leurs petits enfants, tous leurs troupeaux, tous leurs meubles; ils pillèrent tout ce qu’ils pouvaient avoir.
10 and [obj] all city their in/on/with seat their and [obj] all encampment their to burn in/on/with fire
La flamme consuma tant les villes que les bourgades et les châteaux.
11 and to take: take [obj] all [the] spoil and [obj] all [the] prey in/on/with man and in/on/with animal
Et ils enlevèrent le butin et tout ce qu’ils avaient pris, tant des hommes que des bêtes,
12 and to come (in): bring to(wards) Moses and to(wards) Eleazar [the] priest and to(wards) congregation son: descendant/people Israel [obj] [the] captivity and [obj] [the] prey and [obj] [the] spoil to(wards) [the] camp to(wards) Plains (of Moab) (Plains of) Moab which upon Jordan Jericho
Et ils les amenèrent devant Moïse et Eléazar, le prêtre, et toute la multitude des enfants d’Israël: mais tout ce qui pouvait être à leur usage, ils le portèrent au camp dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, contre Jéricho.
13 and to come out: come Moses and Eleazar [the] priest and all leader [the] congregation to/for to encounter: meet them to(wards) from outside to/for camp
Or Moïse, Eléazar, le prêtre, et tous les princes de la synagogue, sortirent à leur rencontre hors du camp.
14 and be angry Moses upon to reckon: overseer [the] strength: soldiers ruler [the] thousand and ruler [the] hundred [the] to come (in): come from army: duty [the] battle
Et Moïse irrité contre les chefs de l’armée, les tribuns et les centurions, qui venaient de la guerre,
15 and to say to(wards) them Moses to live all female
Dit: Pourquoi avez-vous réservé les femmes?
16 look! they(fem.) to be to/for son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with word Balaam to/for to commit unfaithfulness in/on/with LORD upon word: thing Peor and to be [the] plague in/on/with congregation LORD
Ne sont-ce pas elles qui ont trompé les enfants d’Israël à la suggestion de Balaam, et vous ont fait prévariquer contre le Seigneur par le péché de Phogor, pour lequel aussi le peuple fut frappé?
17 and now to kill all male in/on/with child and all woman to know man to/for bed male to kill
Ainsi, tuez-les tous, tout ce qui est du sexe masculin même parmi les enfants; et égorgez les femmes qui ont connu des hommes;
18 and all [the] child in/on/with woman which not to know bed male to live to/for you
Mais les jeunes filles et toutes les femmes vierges, réservez-les pour vous;
19 and you(m. p.) to camp from outside to/for camp seven day all to kill soul: person and all to touch in/on/with slain: killed to sin in/on/with day [the] third and in/on/with day [the] seventh you(m. p.) and captivity your
Et demeurez hors du camp pendant sept jours. Celui qui aura tué un homme, ou qui en aura touché un tué, sera purifié au troisième jour et au septième.
20 and all garment and all article/utensil skin and all deed: work goat and all article/utensil tree: wood to sin
Et dans tout le butin, qu’il y ait, soit un vêtement, soit un vase, et quelque chose de destiné aux usages, en peaux de chèvres, en poils et en bois, il sera purifié.
21 and to say Eleazar [the] priest to(wards) human [the] army [the] to come (in): come to/for battle this statute [the] instruction which to command LORD [obj] Moses
De son côté, Eléazar, le prêtre, parla ainsi aux hommes de l’armée qui avaient combattu: Voici le précepte de la loi qu’a commandé le Seigneur à Moïse:
22 surely [obj] [the] gold and [obj] [the] silver: money [obj] [the] bronze [obj] [the] iron [obj] [the] tin and [obj] [the] lead
L’or, l’argent, l’airain, le fer, le plomb et l’étain,
23 all word: thing which to come (in): come in/on/with fire to pass in/on/with fire and be pure surely in/on/with water impurity to sin and all which not to come (in): come in/on/with fire to pass in/on/with water
Et tout ce qui peut passer par les flammes, sera purifié par le feu. Mais tout ce qui ne peut supporter le feu, sera sanctiflé par l’eau d’expiation;
24 and to wash garment your in/on/with day [the] seventh and be pure and after to come (in): come to(wards) [the] camp
Et vous laverez vos vêtements au septième jour, et, purifiés, vous entrerez ensuite dans le camp.
25 and to say LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
Le Seigneur dit aussi à Moïse:
26 to lift: count [obj] head: count prey [the] captivity in/on/with man and in/on/with animal you(m. s.) and Eleazar [the] priest and head: leader father [the] congregation
Faites le dénombrement de tout ce qui a été pris, depuis l’homme jusqu’à la bête, toi, Eléazar, le prêtre, et les princes du peuple,
27 and to divide [obj] [the] prey between to capture [the] battle [the] to come out: come to/for army: war and between all [the] congregation
Et tu partageras également le butin entre ceux qui ont combattu et qui sont sortis pour aller à la guerre, et tout le reste de la multitude;
28 and to exalt tribute to/for LORD from with human [the] battle [the] to come out: come to/for army: war one soul: person from five [the] hundred from [the] man and from [the] cattle and from [the] donkey and from [the] flock
Et tu sépareras la part du Seigneur de la part de ceux qui ont été à la guerre: une âme sur cinq cents, tant d’entre les hommes que d’entre les bœufs, les ânes et les brebis;
29 from half their to take: take and to give: give to/for Eleazar [the] priest contribution LORD
Et tu la donneras à Eléazar, le prêtre, parce que ce sont les prémices du Seigneur.
30 and from half son: descendant/people Israel to take: take one to grasp from [the] fifty from [the] man from [the] cattle from [the] donkey and from [the] flock from all [the] animal and to give: give [obj] them to/for Levi to keep: guard charge tabernacle LORD
Tu prendras aussi de la moitié attribuée aux enfants d’Israël, la cinquantième partie des hommes, des bœufs, des ânes, des brebis, de tous les animaux, et tu la donneras aux Lévites, qui veillent à la garde du tabernacle du Seigneur.
31 and to make: do Moses and Eleazar [the] priest like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses
Et Moïse et Eléazar firent comme avait ordonné le Seigneur.
32 and to be [the] prey remainder [the] plunder which to plunder people: soldiers [the] army flock six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and five thousand
Or, le butin que l’armée avait pris fut de six cent soixante-quinze mille brebis,
33 and cattle two and seventy thousand
De soixante-douze mille bœufs,
34 and donkey one and sixty thousand
De soixante et un mille ânes,
35 and soul: person man from [the] woman which not to know bed male all soul: person two and thirty thousand
De trente-deux mille personnes du sexe féminin, qui n’avaient pas connu d’hommes.
36 and to be [the] half portion [the] to come out: come in/on/with army number [the] flock three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and five hundred
Et la moitié fut donnée à ceux qui avaient été au combat: trois cent trente-sept mille cinq cents brebis,
37 and to be [the] tribute to/for LORD from [the] flock six hundred five and seventy
Desquelles furent supputées pour la part du Seigneur six cent soixante-quinze brebis;
38 and [the] cattle six and thirty thousand and tribute their to/for LORD two and seventy
Et des trente-six mille bœufs, soixante-douze bœufs;
39 and donkey thirty thousand and five hundred and tribute their to/for LORD one and sixty
Des trente mille cinq cents ânes, soixante et un ânes;
40 and soul: person man six ten thousand and tribute their to/for LORD two and thirty soul: person
Des seize mille personnes, trente-deux personnes passèrent à la part du Seigneur.
41 and to give: give Moses [obj] tribute contribution LORD to/for Eleazar [the] priest like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses
Et Moïse remit le nombre des prémices du Seigneur à Eléazar, le prêtre, comme il lui avait été ordonné,
42 and from half son: descendant/people Israel which to divide Moses from [the] human [the] to serve
Pris sur la moitié des enfants d’Israël, qu’il avait séparée pour ceux qui avaient été aux combats.
43 and to be half [the] congregation from [the] flock three hundred thousand and thirty thousand seven thousand and five hundred
Mais quant à la moitié qui était échue au reste de la multitude, c’est-à-dire de trois cent trente-sept mille cinq cents brebis,
44 and cattle six and thirty thousand
De trente-six mille bœufs,
45 and donkey thirty thousand and five hundred
De trente mille cinq cents ânes,
46 and soul: person man six ten thousand
Et de seize mille personnes,
47 and to take: take Moses from half son: descendant/people Israel [obj] [the] to grasp one from [the] fifty from [the] man and from [the] animal and to give: give [obj] them to/for Levi to keep: guard charge tabernacle LORD like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses
Moïse prit la cinquantième partie, et la donna aux Lévites, qui veillaient dans le tabernacle du Seigneur, comme l’avait ordonné le Seigneur.
48 and to present: come to(wards) Moses [the] to reckon: overseer which to/for thousand [the] army ruler [the] thousand and ruler [the] hundred
Et lorsque les chefs de l’armée, les tribuns et les centurions se furent approchés de Moïse, ils dirent:
49 and to say to(wards) Moses servant/slave your to lift: count [obj] head: leader human [the] battle which in/on/with hand: power our and not to reckon: missing from us man: anyone
Nous, tes serviteurs, nous avons recensé le nombre des combattants, que nous avons eus sous notre main, et il n’en a pas manqué même un seul.
50 and to present: bring [obj] offering LORD man: anyone which to find article/utensil gold armlet and bracelet ring ring and bracelet to/for to atone upon soul: myself our to/for face: before LORD
Pour ce motif, nous offrons chacun en don au Seigneur ce que nous avons pu trouver dans le butin d’or: périscélides, bracelets, anneaux, ornements de la main droite, et petits colliers, afin que tu pries pour nous le Seigneur.
51 and to take: recieve Moses and Eleazar [the] priest [obj] [the] gold from with them all article/utensil deed: work
Et Moïse et Eléazar, le prêtre, reçurent tout l’or en diverses espèces,
52 and to be all gold [the] contribution which to exalt to/for LORD six ten thousand seven hundred and fifty shekel from with ruler [the] thousand and from with ruler [the] hundred
Du poids de seize mille sept cent cinquante sicles, des tribuns et des centurions.
53 human [the] army to plunder man: anyone to/for him
Car ce que chacun avait pris dans le butin était à lui.
54 and to take: recieve Moses and Eleazar [the] priest [obj] [the] gold from with ruler [the] thousand and [the] hundred and to come (in): bring [obj] him to(wards) tent meeting memorial to/for son: descendant/people Israel to/for face: before LORD
Et après avoir reçu cet or, ils le portèrent dans le tabernacle de témoignage, comme un monument des enfants d’Israël devant le Seigneur.
