Numbers 31
1 and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
Jahweh sprak tot Moses:
2 to avenge vengeance son: descendant/people Israel from with [the] Midianite (after *L(P)*) to gather to(wards) kinsman your
Nog moet ge voor de kinderen Israëls wraak nemen op de Midjanieten; daarna zult ge bij uw volk worden verzameld.
3 and to speak: speak Moses to(wards) [the] people to/for to say to arm from with you human to/for army: war and to be upon Midian to/for to give: put vengeance LORD in/on/with Midian
Moses zei dus tot het volk: Laat een deel van uw mannen zich wapenen, om tegen Midjan op te rukken, en de wraak van Jahweh aan Midjan te voltrekken.
4 thousand to/for tribe thousand to/for tribe to/for all tribe Israel to send: depart to/for army: war
Van iedere stam van Israël, moet ge duizend man in het veld brengen.
5 and to commit from thousand Israel thousand to/for tribe two ten thousand to arm army: war
Zo werden uit iedere stam van Israël duizend krijgers aangemonsterd, dus twaalf duizend in het geheel.
6 and to send: depart [obj] them Moses thousand to/for tribe to/for army: war [obj] them and [obj] Phinehas son: child Eleazar [the] priest to/for army: war and article/utensil [the] holiness and trumpet [the] shout in/on/with hand his
En Moses zond die duizend uit iedere stam ten strijde met Pinechas, den zoon van den priester Elazar, wien hij de heilige vaten en de krijgstrompetten meegaf.
7 and to serve upon Midian like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses and to kill all male
Zij bonden dus de strijd aan tegen de Midjanieten, zoals Jahweh het Moses bevolen had, en doodden alle mannen.
8 and [obj] king Midian to kill upon slain: killed their [obj] Evi and [obj] Rekem and [obj] Zur and [obj] Hur and [obj] Reba five king Midian and [obj] Balaam son: child Beor to kill in/on/with sword
Behalve de anderen, die zij neersabelden, doodden zij ook de koningen van Midjan, Ewi, Rékem, Soer, Choer en Réba, vijf midjanietische koningen; ook Balaäm, den zoon van Beor, doodden zij met het zwaard.
9 and to take captive son: descendant/people Israel [obj] woman Midian and [obj] child their and [obj] all animal their and [obj] all livestock their and [obj] all strength: rich their to plunder
De Israëlieten maakten de vrouwen en kinderen der Midjanieten krijgsgevangen; al hun vee met al hun have en goed maakten zij buit;
10 and [obj] all city their in/on/with seat their and [obj] all encampment their to burn in/on/with fire
al de steden, die zij bewoonden, met al hun kampementen staken ze in brand.
11 and to take: take [obj] all [the] spoil and [obj] all [the] prey in/on/with man and in/on/with animal
Al die roof en buit aan mensen en vee namen zij mee,
12 and to come (in): bring to(wards) Moses and to(wards) Eleazar [the] priest and to(wards) congregation son: descendant/people Israel [obj] [the] captivity and [obj] [the] prey and [obj] [the] spoil to(wards) [the] camp to(wards) Plains (of Moab) (Plains of) Moab which upon Jordan Jericho
en brachten de gevangenen met roof en buit naar Moses, en den priester Elazar, en naar de gemeenschap der Israëlieten in de legerplaats in de velden van Moab aan de Jordaan bij Jericho.
13 and to come out: come Moses and Eleazar [the] priest and all leader [the] congregation to/for to encounter: meet them to(wards) from outside to/for camp
Moses, de priester Elazar en al de leiders van de gemeenschap trokken hen buiten de legerplaats tegemoet.
14 and be angry Moses upon to reckon: overseer [the] strength: soldiers ruler [the] thousand and ruler [the] hundred [the] to come (in): come from army: duty [the] battle
Maar Moses werd vertoornd op de aanvoerders van het leger, de hoofdmannen over duizend en honderd, die van de strijd terugkeerden,
15 and to say to(wards) them Moses to live all female
en zei tot hen: Hoe hebt ge al die vrouwen in leven kunnen laten?
16 look! they(fem.) to be to/for son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with word Balaam to/for to commit unfaithfulness in/on/with LORD upon word: thing Peor and to be [the] plague in/on/with congregation LORD
Zij zijn toch juist op raad van Balaäm de oorzaak geweest, dat Israël om Peor van Jahweh afviel, zodat er onder de gemeenschap van Jahweh een ramp ontstond.
17 and now to kill all male in/on/with child and all woman to know man to/for bed male to kill
Ge moet dus alle jongens doden, en alle vrouwen, die gemeenschap met een man hebben gehad.
18 and all [the] child in/on/with woman which not to know bed male to live to/for you
Maar alle meisjes, die nog geen gemeenschap met een man hebben gehad, moogt ge in leven laten en voor u behouden.
19 and you(m. p.) to camp from outside to/for camp seven day all to kill soul: person and all to touch in/on/with slain: killed to sin in/on/with day [the] third and in/on/with day [the] seventh you(m. p.) and captivity your
Bovendien moet ge zeven dagen lang buiten de legerplaats blijven, en iedereen die een ander heeft gedood of een gesneuvelde heeft aangeraakt, moet zich op de derde en zevende dag reinigen, gij zowel als uw krijgsgevangenen.
20 and all garment and all article/utensil skin and all deed: work goat and all article/utensil tree: wood to sin
Ook alle kleren, alle leren voorwerpen, al wat uit geitenhaar is vervaardigd, en al wat van hout is, moet gij reinigen.
21 and to say Eleazar [the] priest to(wards) human [the] army [the] to come (in): come to/for battle this statute [the] instruction which to command LORD [obj] Moses
En de priester Elazar zeide tot de krijgslieden, die ten strijde waren getrokken: Dit is het voorschrift van de wet, die Jahweh Moses heeft gegeven!
22 surely [obj] [the] gold and [obj] [the] silver: money [obj] [the] bronze [obj] [the] iron [obj] [the] tin and [obj] [the] lead
Goud, zilver, brons, ijzer, tin en lood,
23 all word: thing which to come (in): come in/on/with fire to pass in/on/with fire and be pure surely in/on/with water impurity to sin and all which not to come (in): come in/on/with fire to pass in/on/with water
al wat tegen vuur bestand is, moet ge door het vuur halen; dan zal het rein zijn, en behoeft alleen nog met reinigingswater te worden ontsmet. Maar al wat niet tegen vuur is bestand, moet ge door het water halen.
24 and to wash garment your in/on/with day [the] seventh and be pure and after to come (in): come to(wards) [the] camp
Op de zevende dag moet gij uw kleren wassen; dan zijt gij weer rein, en kunt in de legerplaats terugkeren.
25 and to say LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
Daarna sprak Jahweh tot Moses:
26 to lift: count [obj] head: count prey [the] captivity in/on/with man and in/on/with animal you(m. s.) and Eleazar [the] priest and head: leader father [the] congregation
Tel met den priester Elazar en de familiehoofden van de gemeenschap mensen en dieren, die aan buit zijn meegebracht,
27 and to divide [obj] [the] prey between to capture [the] battle [the] to come out: come to/for army: war and between all [the] congregation
en verdeel de buit tussen de krijgers, die ten strijde zijn getrokken, en heel de gemeenschap.
28 and to exalt tribute to/for LORD from with human [the] battle [the] to come out: come to/for army: war one soul: person from five [the] hundred from [the] man and from [the] cattle and from [the] donkey and from [the] flock
Van de krijgers, die ten strijde zijn getrokken, moet ge als gave voor Jahweh één op de vijfhonderd heffen van mensen, runderen, ezels en kleinvee;
29 from half their to take: take and to give: give to/for Eleazar [the] priest contribution LORD
ge moet het van hun helft nemen en het den priester Elazar geven als een cijns voor Jahweh.
30 and from half son: descendant/people Israel to take: take one to grasp from [the] fifty from [the] man from [the] cattle from [the] donkey and from [the] flock from all [the] animal and to give: give [obj] them to/for Levi to keep: guard charge tabernacle LORD
Maar van de helft voor de Israëlieten bestemd moet ge één op de vijftig nemen, van wat voor de hand komt, van mensen, runderen, ezels en kleinvee, en alle andere beesten, en het aan de levieten geven, die dienst doen bij de tabernakel van Jahweh.
31 and to make: do Moses and Eleazar [the] priest like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses
Moses en de priester Elazar deden, wat Jahweh Moses bevolen had.
32 and to be [the] prey remainder [the] plunder which to plunder people: soldiers [the] army flock six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and five thousand
Het overschot van de buit, die het krijgsvolk gemaakt en meegebracht had, bedroeg zes honderd vijf en zeventig duizend schapen,
33 and cattle two and seventy thousand
twee en zeventig duizend runderen,
34 and donkey one and sixty thousand
een en zestig duizend ezels,
35 and soul: person man from [the] woman which not to know bed male all soul: person two and thirty thousand
en aan mensen, twee en dertig duizend vrouwen, die geen gemeenschap met een man hadden gehad.
36 and to be [the] half portion [the] to come out: come in/on/with army number [the] flock three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and five hundred
De helft, die toekwam aan hen, die ten strijde waren getrokken, bedroeg: aan schapen drie honderd zeven en dertig duizend vijfhonderd,
37 and to be [the] tribute to/for LORD from [the] flock six hundred five and seventy
en de gave voor Jahweh daarvan zeshonderd vijf en zeventig;
38 and [the] cattle six and thirty thousand and tribute their to/for LORD two and seventy
aan runderen, zes en dertig duizend, en de gave voor Jahweh daarvan twee en zeventig;
39 and donkey thirty thousand and five hundred and tribute their to/for LORD one and sixty
aan ezels, dertig duizend vijfhonderd, en de gave voor Jahweh daarvan een en zestig;
40 and soul: person man six ten thousand and tribute their to/for LORD two and thirty soul: person
aan mensen zestien duizend, en de gave voor Jahweh twee en dertig.
41 and to give: give Moses [obj] tribute contribution LORD to/for Eleazar [the] priest like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses
Moses stelde die gave als cijns voor Jahweh, aan den priester Elazar ter hand, zoals Jahweh het Moses bevolen had.
42 and from half son: descendant/people Israel which to divide Moses from [the] human [the] to serve
De helft, die voor de Israëlieten was bestemd, en die Moses van het krijgsvolk, dat was uitgetrokken, had geheven,
43 and to be half [the] congregation from [the] flock three hundred thousand and thirty thousand seven thousand and five hundred
deze helft voor de gemeenschap bedroeg: aan schapen, drie honderd zeven en dertig duizend vijfhonderd,
44 and cattle six and thirty thousand
aan runderen, zes en dertig duizend;
45 and donkey thirty thousand and five hundred
aan ezels dertig duizend vijfhonderd;
46 and soul: person man six ten thousand
en aan mensen, zestien duizend.
47 and to take: take Moses from half son: descendant/people Israel [obj] [the] to grasp one from [the] fifty from [the] man and from [the] animal and to give: give [obj] them to/for Levi to keep: guard charge tabernacle LORD like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses
Van deze helft, voor de Israëlieten bestemd, nam Moses één op de vijftig van mensen en vee, zoals het voor de hand kwam, en gaf het aan de levieten, die dienst deden bij de tabernakel, zoals Jahweh het Moses bevolen had.
48 and to present: come to(wards) Moses [the] to reckon: overseer which to/for thousand [the] army ruler [the] thousand and ruler [the] hundred
Toen traden de aanvoerders van de troepen, de hoofdmannen over duizend en honderd, op Moses toe,
49 and to say to(wards) Moses servant/slave your to lift: count [obj] head: leader human [the] battle which in/on/with hand: power our and not to reckon: missing from us man: anyone
en zeiden tot hem: Uw dienaren hebben de strijders, die onder ons stonden, geteld en er ontbreekt er niet één.
50 and to present: bring [obj] offering LORD man: anyone which to find article/utensil gold armlet and bracelet ring ring and bracelet to/for to atone upon soul: myself our to/for face: before LORD
Daarom brengt ieder van ons de gouden sieraden, die hij heeft buitgemaakt, gespen, armbanden, zegelringen, oorringen en kralen, als gave aan Jahweh, om voor ons verzoening te verkrijgen voor het aanschijn van Jahweh.
51 and to take: recieve Moses and Eleazar [the] priest [obj] [the] gold from with them all article/utensil deed: work
Moses en de priester Elazar namen al die gouden sieraden van hen aan.
52 and to be all gold [the] contribution which to exalt to/for LORD six ten thousand seven hundred and fifty shekel from with ruler [the] thousand and from with ruler [the] hundred
Al het goud, dat zij als cijns aan Jahweh brachten, bedroeg zestien duizend zeven honderd vijftig sikkels. Dit was van de hoofdmannen over duizend en honderd;
53 human [the] army to plunder man: anyone to/for him
ook de krijgslieden hadden ieder voor zich nog buit behaald.
54 and to take: recieve Moses and Eleazar [the] priest [obj] [the] gold from with ruler [the] thousand and [the] hundred and to come (in): bring [obj] him to(wards) tent meeting memorial to/for son: descendant/people Israel to/for face: before LORD
Moses en de priester Elazar namen het goud van de hoofdmannen over duizend en honderd in ontvangst en brachten het naar de openbaringstent, om de Israëlieten bij Jahweh in gedachtenis te houden.
