1 and these generation Aaron and Moses in/on/with day to speak: speak LORD with Moses in/on/with mountain: mount Sinai
| וְאֵ֛לֶּה תֹּולְדֹ֥ת אַהֲרֹ֖ן וּמֹשֶׁ֑ה בְּיֹ֗ום דִּבֶּ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־מֹשֶׁ֖ה בְּהַ֥ר סִינָֽי׃ |
2 and these name son: child Aaron [the] firstborn Nadab and Abihu Eleazar and Ithamar
| וְאֵ֛לֶּה שְׁמֹ֥ות בְּֽנֵי־אַהֲרֹ֖ן הַבְּכֹ֣ור ׀ נָדָ֑ב וַאֲבִיה֕וּא אֶלְעָזָ֖ר וְאִיתָמָֽר׃ |
3 these name son: child Aaron [the] priest [the] to anoint which to fill hand: donate their to/for to minister
| אֵ֗לֶּה שְׁמֹות֙ בְּנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹ֔ן הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים הַמְּשֻׁחִ֑ים אֲשֶׁר־מִלֵּ֥א יָדָ֖ם לְכַהֵֽן׃ |
4 and to die Nadab and Abihu to/for face: before LORD in/on/with to present: bring they fire be a stranger to/for face: before LORD in/on/with wilderness (Wilderness of) Sinai and son: child not to be to/for them and to minister Eleazar and Ithamar upon face: before Aaron father their
| וַיָּ֣מָת נָדָ֣ב וַאֲבִיה֣וּא לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֡ה בְּֽהַקְרִבָם֩ אֵ֨שׁ זָרָ֜ה לִפְנֵ֤י יְהוָה֙ בְּמִדְבַּ֣ר סִינַ֔י וּבָנִ֖ים לֹא־הָי֣וּ לָהֶ֑ם וַיְכַהֵ֤ן אֶלְעָזָר֙ וְאִ֣יתָמָ֔ר עַל־פְּנֵ֖י אַהֲרֹ֥ן אֲבִיהֶֽם׃ פ |
5 and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
| וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ |
6 to present: bring [obj] tribe Levi and to stand: stand [obj] him to/for face: before Aaron [the] priest and to minister [obj] him
| הַקְרֵב֙ אֶת־מַטֵּ֣ה לֵוִ֔י וְֽהַעֲמַדְתָּ֣ אֹתֹ֔ו לִפְנֵ֖י אַהֲרֹ֣ן הַכֹּהֵ֑ן וְשֵׁרְת֖וּ אֹתֹֽו׃ |
7 and to keep: guard [obj] charge his and [obj] charge all [the] congregation to/for face: before tent meeting to/for to serve: minister [obj] service: ministry [the] tabernacle
| וְשָׁמְר֣וּ אֶת־מִשְׁמַרְתֹּ֗ו וְאֶת־מִשְׁמֶ֙רֶת֙ כָּל־הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה לִפְנֵ֖י אֹ֣הֶל מֹועֵ֑ד לַעֲבֹ֖ד אֶת־עֲבֹדַ֥ת הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ |

| וְשָׁמְר֗וּ אֶֽת־כָּל־כְּלֵי֙ אֹ֣הֶל מֹועֵ֔ד וְאֶת־מִשְׁמֶ֖רֶת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לַעֲבֹ֖ד אֶת־עֲבֹדַ֥ת הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ |
9 and to give: give [obj] [the] Levi to/for Aaron and to/for son: child his to give: give to give: give they(masc.) to/for him from with son: descendant/people Israel
| וְנָתַתָּה֙ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם לְאַהֲרֹ֖ן וּלְבָנָ֑יו נְתוּנִ֨ם נְתוּנִ֥ם הֵ֙מָּה֙ לֹ֔ו מֵאֵ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
10 and [obj] Aaron and [obj] son: child his to reckon: overseer and to keep: guard [obj] priesthood their and [the] be a stranger [the] approaching to die
| וְאֶת־אַהֲרֹ֤ן וְאֶת־בָּנָיו֙ תִּפְקֹ֔ד וְשָׁמְר֖וּ אֶת־כְּהֻנָּתָ֑ם וְהַזָּ֥ר הַקָּרֵ֖ב יוּמָֽת׃ פ |
11 and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
| וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ |
12 and I behold to take: take [obj] [the] Levi from midst son: descendant/people Israel underneath: instead all firstborn firstborn womb from son: descendant/people Israel and to be to/for me [the] Levi
| וַאֲנִ֞י הִנֵּ֧ה לָקַ֣חְתִּי אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֗ם מִתֹּוךְ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל תַּ֧חַת כָּל־בְּכֹ֛ור פֶּ֥טֶר רֶ֖חֶם מִבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְהָ֥יוּ לִ֖י הַלְוִיִּֽם׃ |
13 for to/for me all firstborn in/on/with day to smite I all firstborn in/on/with land: country/planet Egypt to consecrate: consecate to/for me all firstborn in/on/with Israel from man till animal to/for me to be I LORD
| כִּ֣י לִי֮ כָּל־בְּכֹור֒ בְּיֹום֩ הַכֹּתִ֨י כָל־בְּכֹ֜ור בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֗יִם הִקְדַּ֨שְׁתִּי לִ֤י כָל־בְּכֹור֙ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מֵאָדָ֖ם עַד־בְּהֵמָ֑ה לִ֥י יִהְי֖וּ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ ס |
14 and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses in/on/with wilderness (Wilderness of) Sinai to/for to say
| וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה בְּמִדְבַּ֥ר סִינַ֖י לֵאמֹֽר׃ |

| פְּקֹד֙ אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י לֵוִ֔י לְבֵ֥ית אֲבֹתָ֖ם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם כָּל־זָכָ֛ר מִבֶּן־חֹ֥דֶשׁ וָמַ֖עְלָה תִּפְקְדֵֽם׃ |
16 and to reckon: list [obj] them Moses upon lip: word LORD like/as as which to command
| וַיִּפְקֹ֥ד אֹתָ֛ם מֹשֶׁ֖ה עַל־פִּ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר צֻוָּֽה׃ |
17 and to be these son: child Levi in/on/with name their Gershon and Kohath and Merari
| וַיִּֽהְיוּ־אֵ֥לֶּה בְנֵֽי־לֵוִ֖י בִּשְׁמֹתָ֑ם גֵּרְשֹׁ֕ון וּקְהָ֖ת וּמְרָרִֽי׃ |
18 and these name son: child Gershon to/for family their Libni and Shimei
| וְאֵ֛לֶּה שְׁמֹ֥ות בְּֽנֵי־גֵרְשֹׁ֖ון לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם לִבְנִ֖י וְשִׁמְעִֽי׃ |
19 and son: child Kohath to/for family their Amram and Izhar Hebron and Uzziel
| וּבְנֵ֥י קְהָ֖ת לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם עַמְרָ֣ם וְיִצְהָ֔ר חֶבְרֹ֖ון וְעֻזִּיאֵֽל׃ |
20 and son: child Merari to/for family their Mahli and Mushi these they(masc.) family [the] Levi to/for house: household father their
| וּבְנֵ֧י מְרָרִ֛י לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם מַחְלִ֣י וּמוּשִׁ֑י אֵ֥לֶּה הֵ֛ם מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת הַלֵּוִ֖י לְבֵ֥ית אֲבֹתָֽם׃ |

| לְגֵ֣רְשֹׁ֔ון מִשְׁפַּ֙חַת֙ הַלִּבְנִ֔י וּמִשְׁפַּ֖חַת הַשִּׁמְעִ֑י אֵ֣לֶּה הֵ֔ם מִשְׁפְּחֹ֖ת הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּֽי׃ |
22 to reckon: list their in/on/with number all male from son: aged month and above [to] to reckon: list their seven thousand and five hundred
| פְּקֻדֵיהֶם֙ בְּמִסְפַּ֣ר כָּל־זָכָ֔ר מִבֶּן־חֹ֖דֶשׁ וָמָ֑עְלָה פְּקֻ֣דֵיהֶ֔ם שִׁבְעַ֥ת אֲלָפִ֖ים וַחֲמֵ֥שׁ מֵאֹֽות׃ |

| וּנְשִׂ֥יא בֵֽית־אָ֖ב לַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּ֑י אֶלְיָסָ֖ף בֶּן־לָאֵֽל׃ |

| וּמִשְׁמֶ֤רֶת בְּנֵֽי־גֵרְשֹׁון֙ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מֹועֵ֔ד הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן וְהָאֹ֑הֶל מִכְסֵ֕הוּ וּמָסַ֕ךְ פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מֹועֵֽד׃ |
26 and curtain [the] court and [obj] covering entrance [the] court which upon [the] tabernacle and upon [the] altar around and [obj] cord his to/for all service: ministry his
| וְקַלְעֵ֣י הֶֽחָצֵ֗ר וְאֶת־מָסַךְ֙ פֶּ֣תַח הֶֽחָצֵ֔ר אֲשֶׁ֧ר עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ן וְעַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ סָבִ֑יב וְאֵת֙ מֵֽיתָרָ֔יו לְכֹ֖ל עֲבֹדָתֹֽו׃ |
27 and to/for Kohath family [the] Amramite and family [the] Izharite and family [the] Hebronite and family [the] Uzzielite these they(masc.) family [the] Kohathite
| וְלִקְהָ֗ת מִשְׁפַּ֤חַת הֽ͏ַעַמְרָמִי֙ וּמִשְׁפַּ֣חַת הַיִּצְהָרִ֔י וּמִשְׁפַּ֙חַת֙ הֽ͏ַחֶבְרֹנִ֔י וּמִשְׁפַּ֖חַת הָֽעָזִּיאֵלִ֑י אֵ֥לֶּה הֵ֖ם מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת הַקְּהָתִֽי׃ |
28 in/on/with number all male from son: aged month and above [to] eight thousand and six hundred to keep: guard charge [the] holiness
| בְּמִסְפַּר֙ כָּל־זָכָ֔ר מִבֶּן־חֹ֖דֶשׁ וָמָ֑עְלָה שְׁמֹנַ֤ת אֲלָפִים֙ וְשֵׁ֣שׁ מֵאֹ֔ות שֹׁמְרֵ֖י מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ |
29 family son: child Kohath to camp upon thigh [the] tabernacle south [to]
| מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת בְּנֵי־קְהָ֖ת יַחֲנ֑וּ עַ֛ל יֶ֥רֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן תֵּימָֽנָה׃ |

31 and charge their [the] ark and [the] table and [the] lampstand and [the] altar and article/utensil [the] holiness which to minister in/on/with them and [the] covering and all service: ministry his
| וּמִשְׁמַרְתָּ֗ם הָאָרֹ֤ן וְהַשֻּׁלְחָן֙ וְהַמְּנֹרָ֣ה וְהַֽמִּזְבְּחֹ֔ת וּכְלֵ֣י הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְשָׁרְת֖וּ בָּהֶ֑ם וְהַ֨מָּסָ֔ךְ וְכֹ֖ל עֲבֹדָתֹֽו׃ |

| וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם֙ בְּמִסְפַּ֣ר כָּל־זָכָ֔ר מִבֶּן־חֹ֖דֶשׁ וָמָ֑עְלָה שֵׁ֥שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֖ים וּמָאתָֽיִם׃ |

| וְהַחֹנִ֣ים לִפְנֵ֣י הַמִּשְׁכָּ֡ן קֵ֣דְמָה לִפְנֵי֩ אֹֽהֶל־מֹועֵ֨ד ׀ מִזְרָ֜חָה מֹשֶׁ֣ה ׀ וְאַהֲרֹ֣ן וּבָנָ֗יו שֹֽׁמְרִים֙ מִשְׁמֶ֣רֶת הַמִּקְדָּ֔שׁ לְמִשְׁמֶ֖רֶת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְהַזָּ֥ר הַקָּרֵ֖ב יוּמָֽת׃ |
39 all to reckon: list [the] Levi which to reckon: list Moses and Aaron upon lip: word LORD to/for family their all male from son: aged month and above [to] two and twenty thousand
| כָּל־פְּקוּדֵ֨י הַלְוִיִּ֜ם אֲשֶׁר֩ פָּקַ֨ד מֹשֶׁ֧ה וְׄאַׄהֲׄרֹ֛ׄןׄ עַל־פִּ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם כָּל־זָכָר֙ מִבֶּן־חֹ֣דֶשׁ וָמַ֔עְלָה שְׁנַ֥יִם וְעֶשְׂרִ֖ים אָֽלֶף׃ ס |
40 and to say LORD to(wards) Moses to reckon: list all firstborn male to/for son: descendant/people Israel from son: aged month and above [to] and to lift: count [obj] number name their
| וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֗ה פְּקֹ֨ד כָּל־בְּכֹ֤ר זָכָר֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִבֶּן־חֹ֖דֶשׁ וָמָ֑עְלָה וְשָׂ֕א אֵ֖ת מִסְפַּ֥ר שְׁמֹתָֽם׃ |
41 and to take: take [obj] [the] Levi to/for me I LORD underneath: instead all firstborn in/on/with son: descendant/people Israel and [obj] animal [the] Levi underneath: instead all firstborn in/on/with animal son: descendant/people Israel
| וְלָקַחְתָּ֨ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֥ם לִי֙ אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֔ה תַּ֥חַת כָּל־בְּכֹ֖ר בִּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְאֵת֙ בֶּהֱמַ֣ת הַלְוִיִּ֔ם תַּ֣חַת כָּל־בְּכֹ֔ור בְּבֶהֱמַ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
42 and to reckon: list Moses like/as as which to command LORD [obj] him [obj] all firstborn in/on/with son: descendant/people Israel
| וַיִּפְקֹ֣ד מֹשֶׁ֔ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֹתֹ֑ו אֶֽת־כָּל־בְּכֹ֖ר בִּבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
43 and to be all firstborn male in/on/with number name from son: aged month and above [to] to/for to reckon: list their two and twenty thousand three and seventy and hundred
| וַיְהִי֩ כָל־בְּכֹ֨ור זָכָ֜ר בְּמִסְפַּ֥ר שֵׁמֹ֛ות מִבֶּן־חֹ֥דֶשׁ וָמַ֖עְלָה לִפְקֻדֵיהֶ֑ם שְׁנַ֤יִם וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ אֶ֔לֶף שְׁלֹשָׁ֥ה וְשִׁבְעִ֖ים וּמָאתָֽיִם׃ פ |
44 and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
| וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ |
45 to take: take [obj] [the] Levi underneath: instead all firstborn in/on/with son: descendant/people Israel and [obj] animal [the] Levi underneath: instead animal their and to be to/for me [the] Levi I LORD
| קַ֣ח אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֗ם תַּ֤חַת כָּל־בְּכֹור֙ בִּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאֶת־בֶּהֱמַ֥ת הַלְוִיִּ֖ם תַּ֣חַת בְּהֶמְתָּ֑ם וְהָיוּ־לִ֥י הַלְוִיִּ֖ם אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ |
46 and [obj] ransomed [the] three and [the] seventy and [the] hundred [the] to remain upon [the] Levi from firstborn son: descendant/people Israel
| וְאֵת֙ פְּדוּיֵ֣י הַשְּׁלֹשָׁ֔ה וְהַשִּׁבְעִ֖ים וְהַמָּאתָ֑יִם הָעֹֽדְפִים֙ עַל־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם מִבְּכֹ֖ור בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
47 and to take: take five five shekel to/for head in/on/with shekel [the] holiness to take: take twenty gerah [the] shekel
| וְלָקַחְתָּ֗ חֲמֵ֧שֶׁת חֲמֵ֛שֶׁת שְׁקָלִ֖ים לַגֻּלְגֹּ֑לֶת בְּשֶׁ֤קֶל הַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ תִּקָּ֔ח עֶשְׂרִ֥ים גֵּרָ֖ה הַשָּֽׁקֶל׃ |
48 and to give: give [the] silver: money to/for Aaron and to/for son: child his ransomed [the] to remain in/on/with them
| וְנָתַתָּ֣ה הַכֶּ֔סֶף לְאַהֲרֹ֖ן וּלְבָנָ֑יו פְּדוּיֵ֕י הָעֹדְפִ֖ים בָּהֶֽם׃ |
49 and to take: take Moses [obj] silver: money [the] redemption from with [the] to remain upon ransomed [the] Levi
| וַיִּקַּ֣ח מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֵ֖ת כֶּ֣סֶף הַפִּדְיֹ֑ום מֵאֵת֙ הָעֹ֣דְפִ֔ים עַ֖ל פְּדוּיֵ֥י הַלְוִיִּֽם׃ |
50 from with firstborn son: descendant/people Israel to take: take [obj] [the] silver: money five and sixty and three hundred and thousand in/on/with shekel [the] holiness
| מֵאֵ֗ת בְּכֹ֛ור בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לָקַ֣ח אֶת־הַכָּ֑סֶף חֲמִשָּׁ֨ה וְשִׁשִּׁ֜ים וּשְׁלֹ֥שׁ מֵאֹ֛ות וָאֶ֖לֶף בְּשֶׁ֥קֶל הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ |
51 and to give: give Moses [obj] silver: money ([the] ransomed *Q(k)*) to/for Aaron and to/for son: child his upon lip: word LORD like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses
| וַיִּתֵּ֨ן מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת־כֶּ֧סֶף הַפְּדֻיִ֛ם לְאַהֲרֹ֥ן וּלְבָנָ֖יו עַל־פִּ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ פ |
