Quand Jésus eut achevé ces discours, il quitta la Galilée et se rendit sur la frontière de la Judée, de l'autre côté du Jourdain.

Jésus dit alors à ses disciples: «Je vous le dis en vérité, un riche entrera difficilement dans le Royaume des cieux.
