< Matthew 17 >
1 and with/after day six to take the/this/who Jesus the/this/who Peter and James and John the/this/who brother it/s/he and to carry up it/s/he toward mountain high according to one's own/private
And after days six takes with [Him] Jesus Peter and James and John the brother of him and brings up them into a mountain high on [their] own.
2 and to transform before it/s/he and to shine the/this/who face it/s/he as/when the/this/who sun the/this/who then clothing it/s/he (to be *NK(o)*) white as/when the/this/who light
And He was transfigured before them, and shone the face of Him like the sun, and the clothes of Him (he became *NK(o)*) white as the light.
3 and look! (to appear *N(k)O*) it/s/he Moses and Elijah to talk with with/after it/s/he
And behold (it appeared *N(k)O*) to them Moses and Elijah talking with Him.
4 to answer then the/this/who Peter to say the/this/who Jesus lord: God good to be me here to exist if to will/desire (to do/make: do *N(K)O*) here Three tent you one and Moses one and Elijah one
Answering now Peter said to Jesus; Lord, good it is for us here to be. If You wish, (I will make *N(K)O*) here three tabernacles, for You one and for Moses one and for Elijah one.
5 still it/s/he to speak look! cloud bright to overshadow it/s/he and look! voice/sound: voice out from the/this/who cloud to say this/he/she/it to be the/this/who son me the/this/who beloved in/on/among which to delight to hear it/s/he
While yet when he is speaking behold a cloud bright overshadowed them, and behold a voice out of the cloud saying; This is the Son of Mine the beloved in whom I am well pleased; do listen to Him.
6 and to hear the/this/who disciple to collapse upon/to/against face it/s/he and to fear very
And having heard [it] the disciples fell upon face of them and were terrified greatly.
7 and (to come near/agree *N(k)O*) the/this/who Jesus and (to touch *N(k)O*) it/s/he to say to arise and not to fear
And (he came *N(k)O*) Jesus, and (having touched *N(k)O*) them He said; do rise up and not do be afraid.
8 to lift up then the/this/who eye it/s/he none to perceive: see if: not not (it/s/he *N(k)O*) Jesus alone
Having lifted up and the eyes of them no [one] they saw only except (Himself *N(k)O*) Jesus alone.
9 and to come/go down it/s/he (out from *N(k)O*) the/this/who mountain to order it/s/he the/this/who Jesus to say nothing to say the/this/who vision until which the/this/who son the/this/who a human out from dead (to arise *N(k)O*)
And when are descending they (from *N(k)O*) the mountain instructed them Jesus saying; To no one shall tell the vision until that the Son of Man out from [the] dead (may be risen. *N(k)O*)
10 and to question it/s/he the/this/who disciple (it/s/he *ko*) to say which? therefore/then the/this/who scribe to say that/since: that Elijah be necessary to come/go first
And asked Him the disciples (of him *ko*) saying; Why then the scribes say that Elijah it behooves to come first?
11 the/this/who then (Jesus *k*) to answer to say (it/s/he *k*) Elijah on the other hand to come/go (first *K*) and to restore all
And (Jesus *k*) answering He said (to them: *k*) Elijah indeed comes (first *K*) and will restore all things;
12 to say then you that/since: that Elijah already to come/go and no to come to know it/s/he but to do/make: do in/on/among it/s/he just as/how much to will/desire thus(-ly) and the/this/who son the/this/who a human to ensue to suffer by/under: by it/s/he
I say however to you that Elijah already is come, and not they knew him but did to him as much as they desired; Thus also the Son of Man is about to suffer from them.
13 then to understand the/this/who disciple that/since: that about John the/this/who one who baptizes to say it/s/he
Then understood the disciples that concerning John the Baptist He spoke to them.
14 and to come/go (it/s/he *k*) to/with the/this/who crowd to come near/agree it/s/he a human to kneel (it/s/he *N(k)O*) and to say
And when were coming (they *k*) to the crowd came to Him a man kneeling down ([to] Him *N(k)O*) and saying;
15 lord: God to have mercy me the/this/who son that/since: since be epileptic and badly (to suffer *NK(O)*) often for to collapse toward the/this/who fire and often toward the/this/who water
Lord, do have mercy on my son, for he is epileptic and miserably (suffers; *NK(O)*) often for he falls into the fire and often into the water.
16 and to bring to it/s/he the/this/who disciple you and no be able it/s/he to serve/heal
And I brought him to the disciples of You, and not they were able him to heal.
17 to answer then the/this/who Jesus to say oh! generation unbelieving and to pervert until when? with/after you to be until when? to endure you to bear/lead me it/s/he here
Answering now Jesus said; O generation unbelieving and perverted, until when with you will I be? Until when will I bear with you? do bring to Me him here.
18 and to rebuke it/s/he the/this/who Jesus and to go out away from it/s/he the/this/who demon and to serve/heal the/this/who child away from the/this/who hour that
And rebuked him Jesus, and went out from him the demon, and was healed the boy from the hour that.
19 then to come near/agree the/this/who disciple the/this/who Jesus according to one's own/private to say through/because of which? me no be able to expel it/s/he
Then having come the disciples to Jesus in private they said; Because of why we ourselves not were able to cast out it?
20 the/this/who then (Jesus *k*) (to say *N(k)O*) it/s/he through/because of the/this/who (little faith *N(K)O*) you amen for to say you if to have/be faith as/when seed mustard to say the/this/who mountain this/he/she/it to depart (hence *N(k)O*) there and to depart and none be impossible you
And (Jesus *k*) (spoke *N(k)O*) to them; Because of the (little faith *N(K)O*) of you. Amen for I say to you; If you shall have faith as a seed of mustard, you will say to the mountain to this; do move (from here *N(k)O*) to there, and it will move; And no [thing] will be impossible for you.
21 (this/he/she/it then the/this/who family: kind no to depart if not in/on/among prayer and fasting *KO*)
(this now kind not goes out only except with prayer and with fastings. *KO*)
22 (to gather *N(K)O*) then it/s/he in/on/among the/this/who Galilee to say it/s/he the/this/who Jesus to ensue the/this/who son the/this/who a human to deliver toward hand a human
(When are abiding *N(K)O*) now they in Galilee said to them Jesus; Is about the Son of Man to be betrayed into [the] hands of men,
23 and to kill it/s/he and the/this/who third day to arise and to grieve very
and they will kill Him, and on the third day He will be raised up. And they were grieved deeply.
24 to come/go then it/s/he toward Capernaum to come near/agree the/this/who the/this/who two-drachma to take the/this/who Peter and to say the/this/who teacher you no to finish the/this/who two-drachma
When are coming now they to Capernaum came those the didrachmas collecting to Peter and said; The Teacher of you surely he pays the didrachmas?
25 to say yes and (when *k*) (to come/go *N(k)O*) toward the/this/who home to come before it/s/he the/this/who Jesus to say which? you to think Simon the/this/who king the/this/who earth: planet away from which? to take goal/tax or tax away from the/this/who son it/s/he or away from the/this/who another’s
He says; Yes. And (when *k*) (he having entered *N(k)O*) into the house anticipated him Jesus saying; What you do think, Simon? The kings of the earth from whom do they receive custom or tribute? From the sons of them or from strangers?
26 (to say *N(k)O*) (then *no*) (it/s/he the/this/who Peter *k*) away from the/this/who another’s to assert it/s/he the/this/who Jesus therefore indeed free/freedom to be the/this/who son
(When saying *N(k)O*) (now *no*) (he, Peter *k*) From the strangers, one was saying to him Jesus; Then surely free are the sons.
27 in order that/to then not to cause to stumble it/s/he to travel toward (the/this/who *k*) sea to throw: throw fishhook and the/this/who (to ascend *NK(o)*) first fish to take up and to open the/this/who mouth it/s/he to find/meet coin that to take to give it/s/he for I/we and you
That however not we may offend them, having gone to (*k*) sea do cast a hook and the (having raised *NK(o)*) first fish do take; and having opened the mouth of it you will find a four-drachma coin. That [which] having taken do give to them for Me and yourself.
