Vua Hê-rốt An-ti-pa được trình báo đầy đủ về các hoạt động của Chúa Giê-xu, vì danh tiếng Ngài đồn ra khắp nơi. Vua nghĩ Chúa là Giăng Báp-tít sống lại, nên mới làm được nhiều việc dị thường như thế.
