Luke 23

| فَقَامَ كُلُّ جُمْهُورِهِمْ وَجَاءُوا بِهِ إِلَى بِيلَاطُسَ، | ١ |

| وَٱبْتَدَأُوا يَشْتَكُونَ عَلَيْهِ قَائِلِينَ: «إِنَّنَا وَجَدْنَا هَذَا يُفْسِدُ ٱلْأُمَّةَ، وَيَمْنَعُ أَنْ تُعْطَى جِزْيَةٌ لِقَيْصَرَ، قَائِلًا: إِنَّهُ هُوَ مَسِيحٌ مَلِكٌ». | ٢ |

| فَسَأَلَهُ بِيلَاطُسُ قَائِلًا: «أَنْتَ مَلِكُ ٱلْيَهُودِ؟». فَأَجَابَهُ وَقَالَ: «أَنْتَ تَقُولُ». | ٣ |

| فَقَالَ بِيلَاطُسُ لِرُؤَسَاءِ ٱلْكَهَنَةِ وَٱلْجُمُوعِ: «إِنِّي لَا أَجِدُ عِلَّةً فِي هَذَا ٱلْإِنْسَانِ». | ٤ |

| وَحِينَ عَلِمَ أَنَّهُ مِنْ سَلْطَنَةِ هِيرُودُسَ، أَرْسَلَهُ إِلَى هِيرُودُسَ، إِذْ كَانَ هُوَ أَيْضًا تِلْكَ ٱلْأَيَّامَ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ. | ٧ |

| وَأَمَّا هِيرُودُسُ فَلَمَّا رَأَى يَسُوعَ فَرِحَ جِدًّا، لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ يُرِيدُ مِنْ زَمَانٍ طَوِيلٍ أَنْ يَرَاهُ، لِسَمَاعِهِ عَنْهُ أَشْيَاءَ كَثِيرَةً، وَتَرَجَّى أَنْ يَرَي آيَةً تُصْنَعُ مِنْهُ. | ٨ |

| وَسَأَلَهُ بِكَلَامٍ كَثِيرٍ فَلَمْ يُجِبْهُ بِشَيْءٍ. | ٩ |

| وَوَقَفَ رُؤَسَاءُ ٱلْكَهَنَةِ وَٱلْكَتَبَةُ يَشْتَكُونَ عَلَيْهِ بِٱشْتِدَادٍ، | ١٠ |

| فَٱحْتَقَرَهُ هِيرُودُسُ مَعَ عَسْكَرِهِ وَٱسْتَهْزَأَ بِهِ، وَأَلْبَسَهُ لِبَاسًا لَامِعًا، وَرَدَّهُ إِلَى بِيلَاطُسَ. | ١١ |

| فَصَارَ بِيلَاطُسُ وَهِيرُودُسُ صَدِيقَيْنِ مَعَ بَعْضِهِمَا فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ، لِأَنَّهُمَا كَانَا مِنْ قَبْلُ فِي عَدَاوَةٍ بَيْنَهُمَا. | ١٢ |
13 Pilate then to call together the/this/who high-priest and the/this/who ruler and the/this/who a people
| فَدَعَا بِيلَاطُسُ رُؤَسَاءَ ٱلْكَهَنَةِ وَٱلْعُظَمَاءَ وَٱلشَّعْبَ، | ١٣ |
14 to say to/with it/s/he to bring to me the/this/who a human this/he/she/it as/when to turn away the/this/who a people and look! I/we before you to investigate none to find/meet in/on/among the/this/who a human this/he/she/it causer which to accuse according to it/s/he
| وَقَالَ لَهُمْ: «قَدْ قَدَّمْتُمْ إِلَيَّ هَذَا ٱلْإِنْسَانَ كَمَنْ يُفْسِدُ ٱلشَّعْبَ. وَهَا أَنَا قَدْ فَحَصْتُ قُدَّامَكُمْ وَلَمْ أَجِدْ فِي هَذَا ٱلْإِنْسَانِ عِلَّةً مِمَّا تَشْتَكُونَ بِهِ عَلَيْهِ. | ١٤ |

| وَلَا هِيرُودُسُ أَيْضًا، لِأَنِّي أَرْسَلْتُكُمْ إِلَيْهِ. وَهَا لَا شَيْءَ يَسْتَحِقُّ ٱلْمَوْتَ صُنِعَ مِنْهُ. | ١٥ |
16 to instruct therefore/then it/s/he to release: release
| فَأَنَا أُؤَدِّبُهُ وَأُطْلِقُهُ». | ١٦ |

| وَكَانَ مُضْطَرًّا أَنْ يُطْلِقَ لَهُمْ كُلَّ عِيدٍ وَاحِدًا، | ١٧ |

| فَصَرَخُوا بِجُمْلَتِهِمْ قَائِلِينَ: «خُذْ هَذَا! وَأَطْلِقْ لَنَا بَارَابَاسَ!». | ١٨ |
19 who/which to be through/because of uprising one to be in/on/among the/this/who city and murder (to throw: throw in/on/among *N(k)O*) (the/this/who *no*) (prison/watch: prison *N(k)O*)
| وَذَاكَ كَانَ قَدْ طُرِحَ فِي ٱلسِّجْنِ لِأَجْلِ فِتْنَةٍ حَدَثَتْ فِي ٱلْمَدِينَةِ وَقَتْلٍ. | ١٩ |

| فَنَادَاهُمْ أَيْضًا بِيلَاطُسُ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُطْلِقَ يَسُوعَ، | ٢٠ |

| فَصَرَخُوا قَائِلِينَ: «ٱصْلِبْهُ! ٱصْلِبْهُ!». | ٢١ |
22 the/this/who then third to say to/with it/s/he which? for evil/harm: evil to do/make: do this/he/she/it none causer death to find/meet in/on/among it/s/he to instruct therefore/then it/s/he to release: release
| فَقَالَ لَهُمْ ثَالِثَةً: «فَأَيَّ شَرٍّ عَمِلَ هَذَا؟ إِنِّي لَمْ أَجِدْ فِيهِ عِلَّةً لِلْمَوْتِ، فَأَنَا أُؤَدِّبُهُ وَأُطْلِقُهُ». | ٢٢ |

| فَأَطْلَقَ لَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي طُرِحَ فِي ٱلسِّجْنِ لِأَجْلِ فِتْنَةٍ وَقَتْلٍ، ٱلَّذِي طَلَبُوهُ، وَأَسْلَمَ يَسُوعَ لِمَشِيئَتِهِمْ. | ٢٥ |

| وَتَبِعَهُ جُمْهُورٌ كَثِيرٌ مِنَ ٱلشَّعْبِ، وَٱلنِّسَاءِ ٱللَّوَاتِي كُنَّ يَلْطِمْنَ أَيْضًا وَيَنُحْنَ عَلَيْهِ. | ٢٧ |

| فَٱلْتَفَتَ إِلَيْهِنَّ يَسُوعُ وَقَالَ: «يَا بَنَاتِ أُورُشَلِيمَ، لَا تَبْكِينَ عَلَيَّ بَلِ ٱبْكِينَ عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُنَّ وَعَلَى أَوْلَادِكُنَّ، | ٢٨ |

| وَلَمَّا مَضَوْا بِهِ إِلَى ٱلْمَوْضِعِ ٱلَّذِي يُدْعَى «جُمْجُمَةَ» صَلَبُوهُ هُنَاكَ مَعَ ٱلْمُذْنِبَيْنِ، وَاحِدًا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَٱلْآخَرَ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ. | ٣٣ |

| فَقَالَ يَسُوعُ: «يَا أَبَتَاهُ، ٱغْفِرْ لَهُمْ، لِأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ مَاذَا يَفْعَلُونَ». وَإِذِ ٱقْتَسَمُوا ثِيَابَهُ ٱقْتَرَعُوا عَلَيْهَا. | ٣٤ |

| وَكَانَ ٱلشَّعْبُ وَاقِفِينَ يَنْظُرُونَ، وَٱلرُّؤَسَاءُ أَيْضًا مَعَهُمْ يَسْخَرُونَ بِهِ قَائِلِينَ: «خَلَّصَ آخَرِينَ، فَلْيُخَلِّصْ نَفْسَهُ إِنْ كَانَ هُوَ ٱلْمَسِيحَ مُخْتَارَ ٱللهِ!». | ٣٥ |

| قَائِلِينَ: «إِنْ كُنْتَ أَنْتَ مَلِكَ ٱلْيَهُودِ فَخَلِّصْ نَفْسَكَ!». | ٣٧ |

| وَكَانَ يَوْمُ ٱلِٱسْتِعْدَادِ وَٱلسَّبْتُ يَلُوحُ. | ٥٤ |

| فَرَجَعْنَ وَأَعْدَدْنَ حَنُوطًا وَأَطْيَابًا. وَفِي ٱلسَّبْتِ ٱسْتَرَحْنَ حَسَبَ ٱلْوَصِيَّةِ. | ٥٦ |
