Y se fue Abimelec hijo de Jerobaal a Siquem, a los hermanos de su madre, y habló con ellos, y con toda la familia de la casa del padre de su madre, diciendo:
2 to speak: speak please in/on/with ear: to ears all master Shechem what? pleasant to/for you to rule in/on/with you seventy man all son: child Jerubbaal if to rule in/on/with you man one and to remember for bone your and flesh your I
Yo os ruego que habléis a oídos de todos los señores de Siquem: ¿Qué tenéis por mejor, que os señoreen setenta hombres, todos los hijos de Jerobaal; o que os señoree un varón? Acordaos que yo soy hueso vuestro, y carne vuestra.

Y hablaron por él los hermanos de su madre a oídos de todos los señores de Siquem todas estas palabras; y el corazón de ellos se inclinó en favor de Abimelec, porque decían: Nuestro hermano es.

Y le dieron setenta siclos de plata del templo de Baal-berit, con los cuales Abimelec alquiló varones vacíos y vagabundos, que le siguieron.

Y viniendo a la casa de su padre en Ofra, mató a sus hermanos los hijos de Jerobaal, setenta varones, sobre una piedra; mas quedó Jotam, el más pequeño hijo de Jerobaal, que se escondió.
6 and to gather all master Shechem and all Beth-millo Beth-millo and to go: went and to reign [obj] Abimelech to/for king with terebinth to stand which in/on/with Shechem
Y reunidos todos los señores de Siquem con toda la casa de Milo ( la congregación ), fueron y eligieron a Abimelec por rey, cerca de la llanura del pilar que estaba en Siquem.
7 and to tell to/for Jotham and to go: went and to stand: stand in/on/with head: top mountain: mount (Mount) Gerizim and to lift: loud voice his and to call: call out and to say to/for them to hear: hear to(wards) me master Shechem and to hear: hear to(wards) you God
Cuando se lo dijeron a Jotam, fue y se puso en la cumbre del monte de Gerizim, y alzando su voz clamó, y les dijo: Oídme, varones de Siquem; que Dios os oiga.
8 to go: went to go: went [the] tree to/for to anoint upon them king and to say to/for olive (to reign [emph?] *Q(k)*) upon us
Fueron los árboles a elegir rey sobre sí, y dijeron al olivo: Reina sobre nosotros.

Mas el olivo respondió: ¿He de dejar mi aceite, con el que por mi causa Dios y los hombres son honrados, por ir a ser grande sobre los árboles?

Y dijeron los árboles a la higuera: Anda tú, reina sobre nosotros.
11 and to say to/for them [the] fig to cease [obj] sweetness my and [obj] fruit my [the] pleasant and to go: went to/for to shake upon [the] tree
Y respondió la higuera: ¿He de dejar mi dulzura y mi buen fruto, por ir a ser grande sobre los árboles?
12 and to say [the] tree to/for vine to go: come! you(f. s.) (to reign *Q(k)*) upon us
Dijeron luego los árboles a la vid: Pues ven tú, reina sobre nosotros.
13 and to say to/for them [the] vine to cease [obj] new wine my [the] to rejoice God and human and to go: went to/for to shake upon [the] tree
Y la vid les respondió: ¿He de dejar mi mosto, que alegra a Dios y a los hombres, por ir a ser grande sobre los árboles?
14 and to say all [the] tree to(wards) [the] bramble to go: come! you(m. s.) to reign upon us
Dijeron entonces todos los árboles al escaramujo: Anda tú, reina sobre nosotros.
15 and to say [the] bramble to(wards) [the] tree if in/on/with truth: faithful you(m. p.) to anoint [obj] me to/for king upon you to come (in): come to seek refuge in/on/with shadow my and if nothing to come out: issue fire from [the] bramble and to eat [obj] cedar [the] Lebanon
Y el escaramujo respondió a los árboles: Si en verdad me elegís por rey sobre vosotros, venid, y aseguraos debajo de mi sombra; y si no, fuego salga del escaramujo que devore los cedros del Líbano.
16 and now if in/on/with truth: faithful and in/on/with unblemished: blameless to make: do and to reign [obj] Abimelech and if good to make: do with Jerubbaal and with house: household his and if like/as recompense hand: themselves his to make: do to/for him
Ahora pues, si con verdad y con integridad habéis procedido en hacer rey a Abimelec, y si lo habéis hecho bien con Jerobaal y con su casa, y si le habéis pagado conforme a la obra de sus manos;
17 which to fight father my upon you and to throw [obj] soul: life his from before and to rescue [obj] you from hand: power Midian
(Pues que mi padre peleó por vosotros, y echó lejos su vida por libraros de mano de Madián;
18 and you(m. p.) to arise: attack upon house: household father my [the] day: today and to kill [obj] son: child his seventy man upon stone one and to reign [obj] Abimelech son: child maidservant his upon master Shechem for brother: male-relative your he/she/it
y vosotros os levantasteis hoy contra la casa de mi padre, y matasteis sus hijos, setenta varones, sobre una piedra; y habéis puesto por rey sobre los señores de Siquem a Abimelec, hijo de su criada, por cuanto es vuestro hermano);
19 and if in/on/with truth: faithful and in/on/with unblemished: blameless to make: do with Jerubbaal and with house: household his [the] day: today [the] this to rejoice in/on/with Abimelech and to rejoice also he/she/it in/on/with you
si con verdad y con integridad habéis obrado hoy con Jerobaal y con su casa, que gocéis de Abimelec, y él goce de vosotros.
20 and if nothing to come out: issue fire from Abimelech and to eat [obj] master Shechem and [obj] Beth-millo Beth-millo and to come out: issue fire from master Shechem and from Beth-millo Beth-millo and to eat [obj] Abimelech
Y si no, fuego salga de Abimelec, que consuma a los señores de Siquem y a la casa de Milo; y fuego salga de los de Siquem y de la casa de Milo, que consuma a Abimelec.
21 and to flee Jotham and to flee and to go: went Beer [to] and to dwell there from face: because Abimelech brother: male-sibling his
Y huyó Jotam, y se fugó, y se fue a Beer, y allí se estuvo por causa de Abimelec su hermano.
22 and to reign Abimelech upon Israel three year
Y después que Abimelec hubo dominado sobre Israel tres años,
23 and to send: depart God spirit bad: evil between Abimelech and between master Shechem and to act treacherously master Shechem in/on/with Abimelech
envió Dios un espíritu malo entre Abimelec y los señores de Siquem; que los de Siquem se levantaron contra Abimelec;
24 to/for to come (in): come violence seventy son: child Jerubbaal and blood their to/for to set: put upon Abimelech brother: male-sibling their which to kill [obj] them and upon master: men Shechem which to strengthen: strengthen [obj] hand his to/for to kill [obj] brother: male-sibling his
para que el agravio de los setenta hijos de Jerobaal, y la sangre de ellos, viniera a ponerse sobre Abimelec su hermano que los mató, y sobre los señores de Siquem que corroboraron las manos de él para matar a sus hermanos.
25 and to set: put to/for him master Shechem to ambush upon head: top [the] mountain: mount and to plunder [obj] all which to pass upon them in/on/with way: road and to tell to/for Abimelech
Y los señores de Siquem le pusieron asechadores en las cumbres de los montes, los cuales salteaban a todos los que pasaban junto a ellos por el camino; de lo que fue dado aviso a Abimelec.
26 and to come (in): come Gaal son: child Ebed and brother: male-relative his and to pass in/on/with Shechem and to trust in/on/with him master Shechem
Y Gaal hijo de Ebed vino con sus hermanos, y se pasaron a Siquem; y los señores de Siquem se confiaron en él.
27 and to come out: come [the] land: country and to gather/restrain/fortify [obj] vineyard their and to tread and to make: do praise and to come (in): come house: temple God their and to eat and to drink and to lighten [obj] Abimelech
Y saliendo al campo, vendimiaron sus viñas, y pisaron la uva, e hicieron alegrías; y entrando en el templo de sus dioses, comieron y bebieron, y maldijeron a Abimelec.
28 and to say Gaal son: child Ebed who? Abimelech and who? Shechem for to serve him not son: child Jerubbaal and Zebul overseer his to serve [obj] human Hamor father Shechem and why? to serve him we
Y Gaal hijo de Ebed dijo: ¿Quién es Abimelec y qué es Siquem, para que nosotros le sirvamos a él? ¿No es hijo de Jerobaal? ¿Y no es Zebul su asistente? Servid a los varones de Hamor padre de Siquem. ¿Por qué habíamos de servir a él?
29 and who? to give: if only! [obj] [the] people [the] this in/on/with hand: power my and to turn aside: remove [obj] Abimelech and to say to/for Abimelech to multiply army your and to come out: come [emph?]
Fuérame dado este pueblo bajo mi mano, yo echaría luego a Abimelec. Y decía a Abimelec: Aumenta tus escuadrones, y sal.
30 and to hear: hear Zebul ruler [the] city [obj] word Gaal son: child Ebed and to be incensed face: anger his
Y Zebul asistente de la ciudad, oyendo las palabras de Gaal hijo de Ebed, se encendió su ira;
31 and to send: depart messenger to(wards) Abimelech in/on/with treachery to/for to say behold Gaal son: child Ebed and brother: male-relative his to come (in): come Shechem [to] and behold they to confine [obj] [the] city upon you
y envió sagazmente mensajeros a Abimelec, diciendo: He aquí que Gaal hijo de Ebed y sus hermanos han venido a Siquem, y he aquí, que han cercado la ciudad contra ti.
32 and now to arise: rise night you(m. s.) and [the] people: soldiers which with you and to ambush in/on/with land: country
Levántate pues ahora de noche, tú y el pueblo que está contigo, y pon emboscada en el campo.
33 and to be in/on/with morning like/as to rise [the] sun to rise and to strip upon [the] city and behold he/she/it and [the] people: soldiers which with him to come out: come to(wards) you and to make: do to/for him like/as as which to find hand your
Y por la mañana al salir el sol te levantarás y acometerás la ciudad; y él y el pueblo que está con él saldrán contra ti, y tú harás con él según que se te ofrecerá.
34 and to arise: rise Abimelech and all [the] people: soldiers which with him night and to ambush upon Shechem four head: group
Levantándose, pues, de noche Abimelec y todo el pueblo que con él estaba, pusieron emboscada contra Siquem con cuatro compañías.
35 and to come out: come Gaal son: child Ebed and to stand: stand entrance gate [the] city and to arise: rise Abimelech and [the] people: soldiers which with him from [the] ambush
Y Gaal hijo de Ebed salió, y se puso a la entrada de la puerta de la ciudad; y Abimelec y todo el pueblo que con él estaba, se levantaron de la emboscada.
36 and to see: see Gaal [obj] [the] people: soldiers and to say to(wards) Zebul behold people: soldiers to go down from head: top [the] mountain: mount and to say to(wards) him Zebul [obj] shadow [the] mountain: mount you(m. s.) to see: see like/as human
Y viendo Gaal el pueblo, dijo a Zebul: He allí pueblo que desciende de las cumbres de los montes. Y Zebul le respondió: La sombra de los montes te parece hombres.
37 and to add: again still Gaal to/for to speak: speak and to say behold people: soldiers to go down from from with highest [the] land: country/planet and head: group one to come (in): come from way: direction (Diviners') Oak Diviners' (Oak)
Mas Gaal volvió a hablar, y dijo: He allí pueblo que desciende por medio de la tierra, y un escuadrón viene camino de la campiña de Meonenim.
38 and to say to(wards) him Zebul where? then lip your which to say who? Abimelech for to serve him not this [the] people: soldiers which to reject in/on/with him to come out: come please now and to fight in/on/with him
Y Zebul le respondió: ¿Dónde está ahora aquel dicho que decías: Quién es Abimelec para que le sirvamos? ¿No es éste el pueblo que tenías en poco? Sal pues ahora, y pelea con él.
39 and to come out: come Gaal to/for face: before master Shechem and to fight in/on/with Abimelech
Y Gaal salió delante de los señores de Siquem, y peleó contra Abimelec.
40 and to pursue him Abimelech and to flee from face: before his and to fall: kill slain: killed many till entrance [the] gate
Mas lo persiguió Abimelec, delante del cual él huyó; y cayeron heridos muchos hasta la entrada de la puerta.
41 and to dwell Abimelech in/on/with Arumah and to drive out: drive out Zebul [obj] Gaal and [obj] brother: male-relative his from to dwell in/on/with Shechem
Y Abimelec se quedó en Aruma; y Zebul echó fuera a Gaal y a sus hermanos, para que no morasen en Siquem.
42 and to be from morrow and to come out: come [the] people: soldiers [the] land: country and to tell to/for Abimelech
Y aconteció al siguiente día, que el pueblo salió al campo; y fue dado aviso a Abimelec.
43 and to take: take [obj] [the] people: soldiers and to divide them to/for three head: group and to ambush in/on/with land: country and to see: see and behold [the] people: soldiers to come out: come from [the] city and to arise: rise upon them and to smite them
El cual, tomando gente, la repartió en tres compañías, y puso emboscadas en el campo; y cuando miró, he aquí el pueblo que salía de la ciudad; y se levantó contra ellos, y los hirió.
44 and Abimelech and [the] head: group which with him to strip and to stand: stand entrance gate [the] city and two [the] head: group to strip upon all which in/on/with land: country and to smite them
Pues Abimelec y el escuadrón que estaba con él, acometieron con ímpetu, y pararon a la entrada de la puerta de la ciudad; y las otras dos compañías acometieron a todos los que estaban en el campo, y los hirieron.
45 and Abimelech to fight in/on/with city all [the] day [the] he/she/it and to capture [obj] [the] city and [obj] [the] people which in/on/with her to kill and to tear [obj] [the] city and to sow her salt
Y después de combatir Abimelec la ciudad todo aquel día, la tomó, y mató el pueblo que en ella estaba, y asoló la ciudad, y la sembró de sal.
46 and to hear: hear all master tower Shechem and to come (in): come to(wards) stronghold house: home El (Berith) (Baal)-berith
Cuando oyeron esto todos los que estaban en la torre de Siquem, entraron en la fortaleza del templo del dios Berit.
47 and to tell to/for Abimelech for to gather all master tower Shechem
Y fue dicho a Abimelec como todos los de la torre de Siquem estaban reunidos.
48 and to ascend: rise Abimelech mountain: mount (Mount) Zalmon he/she/it and all [the] people: soldiers which with him and to take: take Abimelech [obj] [the] axe in/on/with hand his and to cut: cut branch tree: wood and to lift: raise her and to set: put upon shoulder his and to say to(wards) [the] people: soldiers which with him what? to see: see to make: do to hasten to make: do like me
Entonces subió Abimelec al monte de Salmón, él y toda la gente que con él estaba; y tomó Abimelec un hacha en su mano, y cortó una rama de los árboles, y levantándola se la puso sobre sus hombros, diciendo al pueblo que estaba con él: Lo que me veis a mí que hago, haced vosotros prestamente como yo.
49 and to cut: cut also all [the] people: soldiers man: anyone branch his and to go: follow after Abimelech and to set: put upon [the] stronghold and to kindle upon them [obj] [the] stronghold in/on/with fire and to die also all human tower Shechem like/as thousand man and woman
Y así todo el pueblo cortó también cada uno su rama, y siguieron a Abimelec, y las pusieron junto a la fortaleza, y prendieron fuego con ellas a la fortaleza; de manera que todos los de la torre de Siquem murieron, como unos mil hombres y mujeres.
50 and to go: went Abimelech to(wards) Thebez and to camp in/on/with Thebez and to capture her
Después Abimelec se fue a Tebes; y puso cerco a Tebes, y la tomó.
51 and tower strength to be in/on/with midst [the] city and to flee there [to] all [the] human and [the] woman and all master [the] city and to shut about/through/for them and to ascend: rise upon roof [the] tower
En medio de aquella ciudad había una torre fuerte, a la cual se retiraron todos los hombres y mujeres, y todos los señores de la ciudad; y cerrando tras sí las puertas, se subieron al techo de la torre.
52 and to come (in): come Abimelech till [the] tower and to fight in/on/with him and to approach: approach till entrance [the] tower to/for to burn him in/on/with fire
Y vino Abimelec a la torre, y combatiéndola, llegó a la puerta de la torre para pegarle fuego.
53 and to throw woman one millstone chariot: millstone upon head Abimelech and to crush [obj] head his
Mas una mujer dejó caer un pedazo de una rueda de molino sobre la cabeza de Abimelec, y le quebró los cascos.
54 and to call: call to haste to(wards) [the] youth to lift: bearing(armour) article/utensil his and to say to/for him to draw sword your and to die me lest to say to/for me woman to kill him and to pierce him youth his and to die
Y luego él llamó a su escudero, y le dijo: Saca tu espada y mátame, para que no se diga de mí: Una mujer lo mató. Y su escudero le atravesó, y murió.
55 and to see: see man Israel for to die Abimelech and to go: went man: anyone to/for place his
Y cuando los israelitas vieron muerto a Abimelec, se fueron cada uno a su casa.
56 and to return: pay God [obj] distress: evil Abimelech which to make: do to/for father his to/for to kill [obj] seventy brother: male-sibling his
Así devolvió Dios a Abimelec el mal que hizo contra su padre matando a sus setenta hermanos.
57 and [obj] all distress: evil human Shechem to return: pay God in/on/with head their and to come (in): come to(wards) them curse Jotham son: child Jerubbaal
Y aun todo el mal de los señores de Siquem tornó Dios sobre sus cabezas; y la maldición de Jotam, hijo de Jerobaal, vino sobre ellos.
