Judges 9

Και υπήγεν Αβιμέλεχ ο υιός του Ιεροβάαλ εις Συχέμ προς τους αδελφούς της μητρός αυτού και είπε προς αυτούς και προς πάσαν την συγγένειαν του οίκου του πατρός της μητρός αυτού, λέγων,
2 to speak: speak please in/on/with ear: to ears all master Shechem what? pleasant to/for you to rule in/on/with you seventy man all son: child Jerubbaal if to rule in/on/with you man one and to remember for bone your and flesh your I
Λαλήσατε, παρακαλώ, εις επήκοον πάντων των ανδρών της Συχέμ, Τι είναι καλήτερον εις εσάς, να άρχωσιν επάνω σας πάντες οι υιοί του Ιεροβάαλ, εβδομήκοντα άνδρες, ή να άρχη εις μόνος επάνω σας; και ενθυμήθητε ότι οστούν υμών και σαρξ υμών είμαι.
3 and to speak: speak brother: male-relative mother his upon him in/on/with ear: to ears all master Shechem [obj] all [the] word [the] these and to stretch heart their after Abimelech for to say brother: male-sibling our he/she/it
Και ελάλησαν περί αυτού οι αδελφοί της μητρός αυτού εις επήκοον πάντων των ανδρών της Συχέμ πάντας τους λόγους τούτους· και έκλινεν η καρδία αυτών κατόπιν του Αβιμέλεχ· διότι είπον, Αδελφός ημών είναι.
4 and to give: give to/for him seventy silver: money (from house: household Baal-berith *L(abh)*) Baal-berith and to hire in/on/with them Abimelech human worthless and be reckless and to go: follow after him
Και έδωκαν εις αυτόν εβδομήκοντα αργύρια εκ του οίκου του Βάαλ-βερίθ, και δι' αυτών εμίσθωσεν ο Αβιμέλεχ άνδρας ποταπούς και θρασείς, και ηκολούθησαν αυτόν.
5 and to come (in): come house: home father his Ophrah [to] and to kill [obj] brother: male-sibling his son: child Jerubbaal (seventy *L(abh)*) man upon stone one and to remain Jotham son: child Jerubbaal [the] small: young for to hide
Και εισήλθεν εις τον οίκον του πατρός αυτού εις Οφρά και εθανάτωσε τους αδελφούς αυτού τους υιούς του Ιεροβάαλ, εβδομήκοντα άνδρας, επί λίθον ένα· εναπελείφθη όμως ο Ιωθάμ ο νεώτερος υιός του Ιεροβάαλ, διότι εκρύφθη.
6 and to gather all master Shechem and all Beth-millo Beth-millo and to go: went and to reign [obj] Abimelech to/for king with terebinth to stand which in/on/with Shechem
Και συνήχθησαν πάντες οι άνδρες της Συχέμ και πας ο οίκος του Μιλλώ και ελθόντες έκαμον τον Αβιμέλεχ βασιλέα, πλησίον της δρυός της ισταμένης εν Συχέμ.
7 and to tell to/for Jotham and to go: went and to stand: stand in/on/with head: top mountain: mount (Mount) Gerizim and to lift: loud voice his and to call: call out and to say to/for them to hear: hear to(wards) me master Shechem and to hear: hear to(wards) you God
Και ότε ανηγγέλθη τούτο εις τον Ιωθάμ, υπήγε και εστάθη επί την κορυφήν του όρους Γαριζίν, και ύψωσε την φωνήν αυτού και εβόησε και είπε προς αυτούς, Ακούσατέ μου, άνδρες της Συχέμ, και θέλει σας ακούσει ο Θεός.
8 to go: went to go: went [the] tree to/for to anoint upon them king and to say to/for olive (to reign [emph?] *Q(k)*) upon us
Υπήγον ποτέ τα δένδρα να χρίσωσι βασιλέα εφ' εαυτών· και είπον προς την ελαίαν, Βασίλευσον εφ' ημών.
9 and to say to/for them [the] olive to cease [obj] ashes my which in/on/with me to honor: honour God and human and to go: went to/for to shake upon [the] tree
Αλλ' η ελαία είπε προς αυτά, Να αφήσω εγώ το πάχος μου, διά της οποίας τιμώνται Θεός και άνθρωποι, και να υπάγω να άρχω επί των δένδρων;
10 and to say [the] tree to/for fig to go: come! you(f. s.) to reign upon us
Και είπον τα δένδρα προς την συκήν, Ελθέ συ, βασίλευσον εφ' ημών.
11 and to say to/for them [the] fig to cease [obj] sweetness my and [obj] fruit my [the] pleasant and to go: went to/for to shake upon [the] tree
Αλλ' η συκή είπε προς αυτά, Να αφήσω την γλυκύτητά μου και τον καρπόν μου τον καλόν, και να υπάγω να άρχω επί των δένδρων;
12 and to say [the] tree to/for vine to go: come! you(f. s.) (to reign *Q(k)*) upon us
Και είπον τα δένδρα προς την άμπελον, Ελθέ συ, βασίλευσον εφ' ημών.
13 and to say to/for them [the] vine to cease [obj] new wine my [the] to rejoice God and human and to go: went to/for to shake upon [the] tree
Και είπεν η άμπελος προς αυτά, Να αφήσω τον οίνόν μου, όστις ευφραίνει Θεόν και ανθρώπους, και να υπάγω να άρχω επί των δένδρων;
14 and to say all [the] tree to(wards) [the] bramble to go: come! you(m. s.) to reign upon us
Τότε είπον πάντα τα δένδρα προς την άκανθαν, Ελθέ συ, βασίλευσον εφ' ημών.
15 and to say [the] bramble to(wards) [the] tree if in/on/with truth: faithful you(m. p.) to anoint [obj] me to/for king upon you to come (in): come to seek refuge in/on/with shadow my and if nothing to come out: issue fire from [the] bramble and to eat [obj] cedar [the] Lebanon
Και είπεν η άκανθα προς τα δένδρα, Εάν αληθώς σεις με χρίητε βασιλέα υμών, έλθετε, καταφύγετε υπό την σκιάν μου· ει δε μη, πυρ να εξέλθη εκ της ακάνθης και να καταφάγη τας κέδρους του Λιβάνου.
16 and now if in/on/with truth: faithful and in/on/with unblemished: blameless to make: do and to reign [obj] Abimelech and if good to make: do with Jerubbaal and with house: household his and if like/as recompense hand: themselves his to make: do to/for him
Τώρα λοιπόν, εάν επράξατε εν αληθεία και ακεραιότητι κάμνοντες τον Αβιμέλεχ βασιλέα, και εάν εφέρθητε καλώς προς τον Ιεροβάαλ και προς τον οίκον αυτού, και εάν εκάμετε προς αυτόν κατά την αξίαν των χειρών αυτού·
17 which to fight father my upon you and to throw [obj] soul: life his from before and to rescue [obj] you from hand: power Midian
διότι ο πατήρ μου επολέμησε διά σας και ερριψοκινδύνευσε την ζωήν αυτού και σας έσωσεν εκ της χειρός του Μαδιάμ·
18 and you(m. p.) to arise: attack upon house: household father my [the] day: today and to kill [obj] son: child his seventy man upon stone one and to reign [obj] Abimelech son: child maidservant his upon master Shechem for brother: male-relative your he/she/it
και σεις εσηκώθητε σήμερον εναντίον του οίκου του πατρός μου και εθανατώσατε τους υιούς αυτού, εβδομήκοντα άνδρας, επί λίθον ένα, και εκάμετε τον Αβιμέλεχ, τον υιόν της δούλης αυτού, βασιλέα επί πάντων των ανδρών της Συχέμ, διότι είναι αδελφός σας·
19 and if in/on/with truth: faithful and in/on/with unblemished: blameless to make: do with Jerubbaal and with house: household his [the] day: today [the] this to rejoice in/on/with Abimelech and to rejoice also he/she/it in/on/with you
εάν λοιπόν επράξατε σήμερον εν αληθεία και ακεραιότητι προς τον Ιεροβάαλ και προς τον οίκον αυτού, χαίρετε εις τον Αβιμέλεχ και ας χαίρη και αυτός εις εσάς.
20 and if nothing to come out: issue fire from Abimelech and to eat [obj] master Shechem and [obj] Beth-millo Beth-millo and to come out: issue fire from master Shechem and from Beth-millo Beth-millo and to eat [obj] Abimelech
ει δε μη, πυρ να εξέλθη εκ του Αβιμέλεχ και να καταφάγη τους άνδρας της Συχέμ και τον οίκον του Μιλλώ· και πυρ να εξέλθη εκ των ανδρών της Συχέμ και εκ του οίκου του Μιλλώ, και να καταφάγη τον Αβιμέλεχ.
21 and to flee Jotham and to flee and to go: went Beer [to] and to dwell there from face: because Abimelech brother: male-sibling his
Τότε έφυγεν ο Ιωθάμ μετά σπουδής και υπήγεν εις Βηρ και κατώκησεν εκεί, διά τον φόβον Αβιμέλεχ του αδελφού αυτού.
22 and to reign Abimelech upon Israel three year
Και εβασίλευσεν ο Αβιμέλεχ επί του Ισραήλ τρία έτη.
23 and to send: depart God spirit bad: evil between Abimelech and between master Shechem and to act treacherously master Shechem in/on/with Abimelech
Και εξαπέστειλεν ο Θεός πνεύμα πονηρόν μεταξύ του Αβιμέλεχ και των ανδρών της Συχέμ· και εστασίασαν οι άνδρες της Συχέμ κατά του Αβιμέλεχ·
24 to/for to come (in): come violence seventy son: child Jerubbaal and blood their to/for to set: put upon Abimelech brother: male-sibling their which to kill [obj] them and upon master: men Shechem which to strengthen: strengthen [obj] hand his to/for to kill [obj] brother: male-sibling his
διά να έλθη η αδικία των εβδομήκοντα υιών του Ιεροβάαλ, και να επέλθη το αίμα αυτών επί τον Αβιμέλεχ τον αδελφόν αυτών τον θανατώσαντα αυτούς, και επί τους άνδρας της Συχέμ, τους ενισχύσαντας τας χείρας αυτού, διά να θανατώση τους αδελφούς αυτού.
25 and to set: put to/for him master Shechem to ambush upon head: top [the] mountain: mount and to plunder [obj] all which to pass upon them in/on/with way: road and to tell to/for Abimelech
Και έθεσαν κατ' αυτού οι άνδρες της Συχέμ ενέδρας επί τας κορυφάς των ορέων, και εγύμνονον πάντας τους διαβαίνοντας πλησίον αυτών διά της οδού· και ανηγγέλθη προς τον Αβιμέλεχ.
26 and to come (in): come Gaal son: child Ebed and brother: male-relative his and to pass in/on/with Shechem and to trust in/on/with him master Shechem
Και ήλθε Γαάλ ο υιός του Εβέδ και οι αδελφοί αυτού, και διέβησαν εις Συχέμ, και ενεπιστεύθησαν εις αυτόν οι άνδρες της Συχέμ.
27 and to come out: come [the] land: country and to gather/restrain/fortify [obj] vineyard their and to tread and to make: do praise and to come (in): come house: temple God their and to eat and to drink and to lighten [obj] Abimelech
Και εξήλθον εις τους αγρούς και ετρύγησαν τας αμπέλους αυτών και επάτησαν και ευθύμησαν, και υπήγαν εις τον οίκον του Θεού αυτών και έφαγον και έπιον, και κατηράσθησαν τον Αβιμέλεχ.
28 and to say Gaal son: child Ebed who? Abimelech and who? Shechem for to serve him not son: child Jerubbaal and Zebul overseer his to serve [obj] human Hamor father Shechem and why? to serve him we
Και είπε Γαάλ ο υιός του Εβέδ, Τις είναι ο Αβιμέλεχ, και τις η Συχέμ, ώστε να δουλεύωμεν εις αυτόν; δεν είναι ούτος ο υιός του Ιεροβάαλ; και Ζεβούλ ο επιστάτης αυτού; δουλεύσατε εις τους άνδρας του Εμμώρ πατρός του Συχέμ· και διά τι ημείς να δουλεύωμεν εις εκείνον;
29 and who? to give: if only! [obj] [the] people [the] this in/on/with hand: power my and to turn aside: remove [obj] Abimelech and to say to/for Abimelech to multiply army your and to come out: come [emph?]
είθε να εδίδετο ο λαός ούτος υπό την χείρα μου. Τότε ήθελον εκδιώξει τον Αβιμέλεχ. Και είπε προς τον Αβιμέλεχ, Πλήθυνον το στράτευμά σου και έξελθε.
30 and to hear: hear Zebul ruler [the] city [obj] word Gaal son: child Ebed and to be incensed face: anger his
Και ήκουσε Ζεβούλ ο άρχων της πόλεως τους λόγους Γαάλ του υιού του Εβέδ, και εξήφθη ο θυμός αυτού·
31 and to send: depart messenger to(wards) Abimelech in/on/with treachery to/for to say behold Gaal son: child Ebed and brother: male-relative his to come (in): come Shechem [to] and behold they to confine [obj] [the] city upon you
και απέστειλε κρυφίως μηνυτάς προς τον Αβιμέλεχ, λέγων, Ιδού, Γαάλ ο υιός του Εβέδ και οι αδελφοί αυτού ήλθον εις Συχέμ· και ιδού, αυτοί διεγείρουσι την πόλιν εναντίον σου·
32 and now to arise: rise night you(m. s.) and [the] people: soldiers which with you and to ambush in/on/with land: country
διά τούτο λοιπόν σηκώθητι την νύκτα, συ και ο λαός ο μετά σου, και βάλε ενέδρας εν τοις αγροίς·
33 and to be in/on/with morning like/as to rise [the] sun to rise and to strip upon [the] city and behold he/she/it and [the] people: soldiers which with him to come out: come to(wards) you and to make: do to/for him like/as as which to find hand your
και το πρωΐ, άμα άνατείλη ο ήλιος, θέλεις σηκωθή ενωρίς και θέλεις εφορμήσει επί την πόλιν· και ιδού, αυτός και ο λαός ο μετ' αυτού θέλουσιν εξέλθει εναντίον σου, και συ θέλεις κάμει εις αυτόν όπως δυνηθής.
34 and to arise: rise Abimelech and all [the] people: soldiers which with him night and to ambush upon Shechem four head: group
Και εσηκώθη ο Αβιμέλεχ και πας ο λαός ο μετ' αυτού την νύκτα και έβαλον εις ενέδραν κατά της Συχέμ τέσσαρα σώματα.
35 and to come out: come Gaal son: child Ebed and to stand: stand entrance gate [the] city and to arise: rise Abimelech and [the] people: soldiers which with him from [the] ambush
Και εξήλθε Γαάλ ο υιός του Εβέδ και εστάθη εν τη εισόδω της πύλης της πόλεως· και εσηκώθη ο Αβιμέλεχ και ο λαός ο μετ' αυτού εκ της ενέδρας.
36 and to see: see Gaal [obj] [the] people: soldiers and to say to(wards) Zebul behold people: soldiers to go down from head: top [the] mountain: mount and to say to(wards) him Zebul [obj] shadow [the] mountain: mount you(m. s.) to see: see like/as human
Και ότε είδεν ο Γαάλ τον λαόν, είπε προς τον Ζεβούλ, Ιδού, λαός καταβαίνει από των κορυφών των ορέων· είπε δε προς αυτόν ο Ζεβούλ, την σκιάν των ορέων βλέπεις συ ως άνδρας.
37 and to add: again still Gaal to/for to speak: speak and to say behold people: soldiers to go down from from with highest [the] land: country/planet and head: group one to come (in): come from way: direction (Diviners') Oak Diviners' (Oak)
Και ελάλησε πάλιν ο Γαάλ και είπεν, Ιδού, λαός καταβαίνει από των υψηλών του τόπου, και εν σώμα έρχεται διά της οδού της δρυός Μεωνενίμ.
38 and to say to(wards) him Zebul where? then lip your which to say who? Abimelech for to serve him not this [the] people: soldiers which to reject in/on/with him to come out: come please now and to fight in/on/with him
Τότε είπε προς αυτόν ο Ζεβούλ, Που είναι τώρα το στόμα σου, με το οποίον είπας, Τις είναι ο Αβιμέλεχ, ώστε να δουλεύωμεν εις αυτόν; Δεν είναι ούτος ο λαός, τον οποίον εξουθένησας; έξελθε λοιπόν τώρα και πολέμησον αυτούς.
39 and to come out: come Gaal to/for face: before master Shechem and to fight in/on/with Abimelech
Και εξήλθεν ο Γαάλ έμπροσθεν των άνδρών της Συχέμ και επολέμησε με τον Αβιμέλεχ·
40 and to pursue him Abimelech and to flee from face: before his and to fall: kill slain: killed many till entrance [the] gate
ο δε Αβιμέλεχ κατεδίωξεν αυτόν, και έφυγεν απ' έμπροσθεν αυτού, και έπεσον τετραυματισμένοι πολλοί έως της εισόδου της πύλης.
41 and to dwell Abimelech in/on/with Arumah and to drive out: drive out Zebul [obj] Gaal and [obj] brother: male-relative his from to dwell in/on/with Shechem
Και εκάθισεν Αβιμέλεχ εν Αρουμά· και εξέβαλεν ο Ζεβούλ τον Γαάλ και τους αδελφούς αυτού, διά να μη κατοικώσιν εν Συχέμ.
42 and to be from morrow and to come out: come [the] people: soldiers [the] land: country and to tell to/for Abimelech
Και την επαύριον εξήλθεν ο λαός εις την πεδιάδα· και ανηγγέλθη προς τον Αβιμέλεχ.
43 and to take: take [obj] [the] people: soldiers and to divide them to/for three head: group and to ambush in/on/with land: country and to see: see and behold [the] people: soldiers to come out: come from [the] city and to arise: rise upon them and to smite them
Τότε έλαβε τον λαόν και διήρεσεν αυτόν εις τρία σώματα και έθεσεν ενέδρας εις την πεδιάδα· και είδε, και ιδού, ο λαός εξήρχετο εκ της πόλεως· και εσηκώθη εναντίον αυτών και επάταξεν αυτούς.
44 and Abimelech and [the] head: group which with him to strip and to stand: stand entrance gate [the] city and two [the] head: group to strip upon all which in/on/with land: country and to smite them
Και ο Αβιμέλεχ και το σώμα το μετ' αυτόν εφώρμησαν και εστάθησαν εν τη εισόδω της πύλης της πόλεως· τα δε άλλα δύο σώματα εφώρμησαν επί πάντας τους εν τοις αγροίς και επάταξαν αυτούς.
45 and Abimelech to fight in/on/with city all [the] day [the] he/she/it and to capture [obj] [the] city and [obj] [the] people which in/on/with her to kill and to tear [obj] [the] city and to sow her salt
Και επολέμει ο Αβιμέλεχ εναντίον της πόλεως όλην εκείνην την ημέραν· και εκυρίευσε την πόλιν και εφόνευσε τον λαόν τον εν αυτή και κατέσκαψε την πόλιν και έσπειρεν αυτήν άλας.
46 and to hear: hear all master tower Shechem and to come (in): come to(wards) stronghold house: home El (Berith) (Baal)-berith
Και ότε ήκουσαν πάντες οι άνδρες του πύργου της Συχέμ, εισήλθον εις το οχύρωμα του οίκου του Θεού Βερίθ.
47 and to tell to/for Abimelech for to gather all master tower Shechem
Και ανηγγέλθη προς τον Αβιμέλεχ, ότι συνηθροίσθησαν πάντες οι άνδρες του πύργου της Συχέμ.
48 and to ascend: rise Abimelech mountain: mount (Mount) Zalmon he/she/it and all [the] people: soldiers which with him and to take: take Abimelech [obj] [the] axe in/on/with hand his and to cut: cut branch tree: wood and to lift: raise her and to set: put upon shoulder his and to say to(wards) [the] people: soldiers which with him what? to see: see to make: do to hasten to make: do like me
Και ανέβη ο Αβιμέλεχ εις το όρος Σαλμών, αυτός και πας ο λαός ο μετ' αυτού· και έλαβεν ο Αβιμέλεχ την αξίνην εις την χείρα αυτού και έκοψε κλάδον δένδρου, και εσήκωσεν αυτόν και επέθεσεν επί των ώμων αυτού· και είπε προς τον λαόν τον μετ' αυτού, ό,τι βλέπετε εμέ πράττοντα, σπεύσατε και σεις να πράξητε ως εγώ.
49 and to cut: cut also all [the] people: soldiers man: anyone branch his and to go: follow after Abimelech and to set: put upon [the] stronghold and to kindle upon them [obj] [the] stronghold in/on/with fire and to die also all human tower Shechem like/as thousand man and woman
Έκοψε λοιπόν και πας ο λαός έκαστος τον κλάδον αυτού, και ακολουθήσαντες τον Αβιμέλεχ επέθεσαν αυτούς εις το οχύρωμα και κατέκαυσαν εν πυρί το οχύρωμα επ' αυτούς· και απέθανον ομού πάντες οι άνδρες του πύργου της Συχέμ, έως χίλιοι άνδρες και γυναίκες.
50 and to go: went Abimelech to(wards) Thebez and to camp in/on/with Thebez and to capture her
Τότε υπήγεν ο Αβιμέλεχ εις Θαβαίς· και εστρατοπέδευσεν εναντίον της Θαβαίς και εκυρίευσεν αυτήν.
51 and tower strength to be in/on/with midst [the] city and to flee there [to] all [the] human and [the] woman and all master [the] city and to shut about/through/for them and to ascend: rise upon roof [the] tower
Αλλ' ήτο πύργος ισχυρός εν τω μέσω της πόλεως, και κατέφυγον εκεί πάντες οι άνδρες και αι γυναίκες και πάντες οι κάτοικοι της πόλεως, και έκλεισαν όπισθεν αυτών και ανέβησαν εις το δώμα του πύργου.
52 and to come (in): come Abimelech till [the] tower and to fight in/on/with him and to approach: approach till entrance [the] tower to/for to burn him in/on/with fire
Και υπήγεν ο Αβιμέλεχ μέχρι του πύργου και επολέμει αυτόν, και επλησίασε μέχρι της θύρας του πύργου διά να καύση αυτόν εν πυρί.
53 and to throw woman one millstone chariot: millstone upon head Abimelech and to crush [obj] head his
Και γυνή τις έρριψε τμήμα μυλοπέτρας επί την κεφαλήν του Αβιμέλεχ και συνέθλασε το κρανίον αυτού.
54 and to call: call to haste to(wards) [the] youth to lift: bearing(armour) article/utensil his and to say to/for him to draw sword your and to die me lest to say to/for me woman to kill him and to pierce him youth his and to die
Και εφώναξε ταχέως προς τον νέον τον οπλοφόρον αυτού και είπε προς αυτόν, Σύρε την μάχαιράν σου και θανάτωσόν με, διά να μη είπωσι περί εμού, Γυνή εφόνευσεν αυτόν. Και ο νέος αυτού διεπέρασεν αυτόν, και απέθανε.
55 and to see: see man Israel for to die Abimelech and to go: went man: anyone to/for place his
Και ότε είδον οι άνδρες Ισραήλ ότι απέθανεν ο Αβιμέλεχ, ανεχώρησαν έκαστος εις τον τόπον αυτού.
56 and to return: pay God [obj] distress: evil Abimelech which to make: do to/for father his to/for to kill [obj] seventy brother: male-sibling his
Ούτως ανταπέδωκεν ο Θεός την κακίαν του Αβιμέλεχ, την οποίαν έκαμε προς τον πατέρα αυτού, φονεύσας τους εβδομήκοντα αδελφούς αυτού.
57 and [obj] all distress: evil human Shechem to return: pay God in/on/with head their and to come (in): come to(wards) them curse Jotham son: child Jerubbaal
Και πάσαν την κακίαν των ανδρών της Συχέμ ο Θεός ανταπέδωκεν επί τας κεφαλάς αυτών· και ήλθεν επ' αυτούς η κατάρα του Ιωθάμ υιού του Ιεροβάαλ.
