1 and to come out: come all son: descendant/people Israel and to gather [the] congregation like/as man one to/for from Dan and till Beersheba Beersheba and land: country/planet [the] Gilead to(wards) LORD [the] Mizpah
I vyšli všickni synové Izraelští, a shromáždilo se všecko množství jednomyslně od Dan až do Bersabé, i země Galád, k Hospodinu do Masfa.
2 and to stand corner all [the] people all tribe Israel in/on/with assembly people [the] God four hundred thousand man on foot to draw sword
Kdežto postavili se přední všeho lidu, všecka pokolení Izraelská v shromáždění lidu Božího, čtyřikrát sto tisíc lidu pěšího válečného.
3 and to hear: hear son: descendant/people Benjamin for to ascend: rise son: descendant/people Israel [the] Mizpah and to say son: descendant/people Israel to speak: speak how? to be [the] distress: evil [the] this
(Uslyšeli pak synové Beniamin, že by sešli se synové Izraelští v Masfa.) I řekli synové Izraelští: Povězte, kterak se stala nešlechetnost ta?

I odpověděv muž Levíta, manžel ženy zamordované, řekl: Do Gabaa kteréž jest Beniaminovo, přišel jsem s ženinou svou, abych tam přenocoval.
5 and to arise: rise upon me master [the] Gibeah and to turn: surround upon me [obj] [the] house: home night [obj] me to resemble to/for to kill and [obj] concubine my to afflict and to die
Tedy povstavše proti mně muži Gabaa, obklíčili mne v domě v noci, myslíce mne zamordovati, ženinu pak mou trápili, tak že umřela.
6 and to grasp in/on/with concubine my and to cut her and to send: depart her in/on/with all land: country inheritance Israel for to make: do wickedness and folly in/on/with Israel
Pročež vzav ženinu svou, rozsekal jsem ji na kusy, a rozeslal jsem ji do všech krajin dědictví Izraelského; nebo nešlechetnosti a mrzkosti se dopustili v Izraeli.
7 behold all your son: descendant/people Israel to give to/for you word and counsel here
Aj, všickni vy synové Izraelští jste; považte toho mezi sebou, a raďte se o to.

A povstav všecken lid jednomyslně, řekli: Nenavrátí se žádný z nás do příbytku svého, aniž odejde kdo do domu svého.

Ale nyní toto učiníme Gabaa, losujíce proti němu.

Vezmeme deset mužů ze sta po všech pokoleních Izraelských, a sto z tisíce, a tisíc z desíti tisíců, aby dodávali potravy lidu, kterýž by přitáhna do Gabaa Beniaminova, pomstil všech nešlechetností jeho, kterýchž se dopustilo v Izraeli.

I sebrali se všickni muži Izraelští na to město, snesše se za jednoho člověka.

Poslala pak pokolení Izraelská muže do všech čeledí synů Beniamin, řkouce: Jaký to zlý skutek stal se mezi vámi?

Nyní tedy vydejte ty muže bezbožné, kteříž jsou v Gabaa, ať je zbijeme a odejmeme zlé z Izraele. Ale nechtěli Beniaminští slyšeti hlasu bratří svých, synů Izraelských.

Nýbrž shromáždili se synové Beniamin z měst svých do Gabaa, aby vytáhli k boji proti synům Izraelským.

Toho dne načteno jest synů Beniamin z měst jejich dvadceti šest tisíc mužů bojovných, kromě obyvatelů Gabaa, jichž načteno bylo šest set mužů vybraných.
16 from all [the] people: soldiers [the] this seven hundred man to choose lefthanded hand right his all this to sling in/on/with stone to(wards) [the] hair and not to sin
Mezi kterýmžto vším lidem bylo sedm set mužů vybraných, neužívajících pravé ruky své, z nichž každý z praku kamením házeli k vlasu, a nechybovali se.

Mužů pak Izraelských načteno jest kromě Beniaminských čtyřikrát sto tisíc mužů bojovných; všickni tito byli muži udatní.

Vstavše pak, brali se do domu Boha silného, a tázali se Boha, a řekli synové Izraelští: Kdo z nás půjde napřed k boji proti synům Beniamin? I řekl Hospodin: Juda půjde napřed.
19 and to arise: rise son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with morning and to camp upon [the] Gibeah
A tak ráno vstavše synové Izraelští, položili se proti Gabaa.
20 and to come out: come man Israel to/for battle with Benjamin and to arrange with them man Israel battle to(wards) [the] Gibeah
I táhli muži Izraelští k boji proti synům Beniamin, a sšikovali se muži Izraelští k bitvě proti Gabaa.
21 and to come out: come son: descendant/people Benjamin from [the] Gibeah and to ruin in/on/with Israel in/on/with day [the] he/she/it two and twenty thousand man land: soil [to]
Vyšedše pak synové Beniamin z Gabaa, porazili z Izraele toho dne dvamecítma tisíc mužů na zem.
22 and to strengthen: strengthen [the] people: soldiers man Israel and to add: again to/for to arrange battle in/on/with place which to arrange there in/on/with day [the] first
A posilnivše se muži lidu Izraelského, spořádali se zase k boji na místě, na kterémž se prvního dne zřídili.
23 and to ascend: rise son: descendant/people Israel and to weep to/for face: before LORD till [the] evening and to ask in/on/with LORD to/for to say to add: again to/for to approach: approach to/for battle with son: descendant/people Benjamin brother: compatriot my and to say LORD to ascend: rise to(wards) him
Prvé pak šli synové Izraelští, a plakali před Hospodinem až do večera. I tázali se Hospodina těmi slovy: Půjdeme-li ještě k boji proti synům Beniamina bratra našeho? Odpověděl Hospodin: Jděte proti nim.
24 and to present: come son: descendant/people Israel to(wards) son: descendant/people Benjamin in/on/with day [the] second
Tedy potýkali se synové Izraelští s syny Beniamin druhého dne.
25 and to come out: come Benjamin to/for to encounter: toward them from [the] Gibeah in/on/with day [the] second and to ruin in/on/with son: descendant/people Israel still eight ten thousand man land: soil [to] all these to draw sword
A vyšedše synové Beniamin z Gabaa na ně druhého dne, porazili z synů Izraelských opět osmnácte tisíc mužů na zem, vše mužů bojovných.
26 and to ascend: rise all son: descendant/people Israel and all [the] people: soldiers and to come (in): come Bethel Bethel and to weep and to dwell there to/for face: before LORD and to fast in/on/with day [the] he/she/it till [the] evening and to ascend: offer up burnt offering and peace offering to/for face: before LORD
Protož vstoupili všickni synové Izraelští a všecken lid, a přišli do domu Boha silného. I plakali, usadivše se tam před Hospodinem, a postili se toho dne až do večera; obětovali též oběti zápalné a pokojné před Hospodinem.
27 and to ask son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with LORD and there ark covenant [the] God in/on/with day [the] they(masc.)
I tázali se synové Izraelští Hospodina, (nebo tu byla truhla smlouvy Boží v těch dnech,

A Fínes syn Eleazara, syna Aronova, stál před ní v ten čas, ) řkouce: Půjdeme-li ještě k boji proti synům Beniamina bratra našeho, čili tak necháme? Odpověděl Hospodin: Jděte, nebo zítra dám je v ruku vaši.

Tedy Izraelští zdělali zálohy proti Gabaa všudy vůkol.
30 and to ascend: rise son: descendant/people Israel to(wards) son: descendant/people Benjamin in/on/with day [the] third and to arrange to(wards) [the] Gibeah like/as beat in/on/with beat
I šli synové Izraelští proti synům Beniamin dne třetího, a sšikovali se proti Gabaa, jako prvé jednou i podruhé.

Vyšedše pak synové Beniamin proti lidu, odtrhli se od města, a počali bíti a mordovati lidu, jako prvé jednou i druhé po stezkách, (z nichž jedna šla k Bethel a druhá do Gabaa), i po poli, a zbili okolo třidcíti mužů z Izraele.
32 and to say son: descendant/people Benjamin to strike they(masc.) to/for face: before our like/as in/on/with first and son: descendant/people Israel to say to flee and to tear him from [the] city to(wards) [the] highway
A řekli synové Beniamin: Padají před námi jako i prvé. Synové pak Izraelští řekli byli: Utíkejme, abychom je odtrhli od města až k stezkám.
33 and all man Israel to arise: rise from place his and to arrange in/on/with Baal-tamar Baal-tamar and to ambush Israel to burst/come out from place his from Maareh (Maareh)-geba
A v tom všickni synové Izraelští vstavše z místa svého, sšikovali se v Baltamar; zálohy také Izraelovy vyskočily z místa svého z trávníků Gabaa.
34 and to come (in): come from before to/for Gibeah ten thousand man to choose from all Israel and [the] battle to honor: heavy and they(masc.) not to know for to touch upon them [the] distress: harm
Tedy vyšlo proti Gabaa deset tisíc mužů vybraných ze všeho Izraele, a bitva se rozmáhala; oni pak nevěděli o tom, že je potkati mělo zlé.
35 and to strike LORD [obj] Benjamin to/for face: before Israel and to ruin son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with Benjamin in/on/with day [the] he/she/it twenty and five thousand and hundred man all these to draw sword
I porazil Hospodin Beniamina před Izraelem, a zbili synové Izraelští z Beniaminských dne toho pětmecítma tisíc a sto mužů, vše bojovných.
36 and to see: see son: descendant/people Benjamin for to strike and to give: give man Israel place to/for Benjamin for to trust to(wards) [the] to ambush which to set: make to(wards) [the] Gibeah
A vidouce synové Beniamin, že by poraženi byli, (nebo muži Izraelští ustupovali z místa Beniaminským, ubezpečivše se na zálohy, kteréž zdělali proti Gabaa.
37 and [the] to ambush to hasten and to strip to(wards) [the] Gibeah and to draw [the] to ambush and to smite [obj] all [the] city to/for lip: edge sword
Zálohy pak pospíšily a obořily se na Gabaa, a rozvláčně troubivše zálohy, zbily všecko město ostrostí meče.
38 and [the] meeting: signal appointed to be to/for man Israel with [the] to ambush to multiply to/for to ascend: rise them tribute [the] smoke from [the] city
Měli pak muži Izraelští s zálohami jistý čas uložený, aby když by oni zapálili město,
39 and to overturn man Israel in/on/with battle and Benjamin to profane/begin: begin to/for to smite slain: killed in/on/with man Israel like/as thirty man for to say surely to strike to strike he/she/it to/for face: before our like/as battle [the] first
Obrátili se synové Izraelští k boji. Beniaminští pak počali bíti a mordovati, a zbili z synů Izraelských okolo třidcíti mužů; nebo řekli: Jistě že padají před námi jako v první bitvě.
40 and [the] tribute to profane/begin: begin to/for to ascend: rise from [the] city pillar smoke and to turn Benjamin after him and behold to ascend: rise entire [the] city [the] heaven [to]
Oheň pak počal vzhůru jíti z města, a sloup dymový. A ohlédše se Beniaminští zpět, uzřeli, an vstupuje oheň města k nebi.)
41 and man Israel to overturn and to dismay man Benjamin for to see: see for to touch upon him [the] distress: harm
A že muži Izraelští obrátili se, i zděšeni jsou muži Beniamin, nebo viděli, že zahynutí jim nastává.
42 and to turn to/for face: before man Israel to(wards) way: direction [the] wilderness and [the] battle to cleave him and which from [the] city to ruin [obj] him in/on/with midst his
I utíkali před muži Izraelskými cestou ku poušti, a bojovníci postihali je, a kteří z měst vyšli, mordovali je mezi sebou.
43 to surround [obj] Benjamin to pursue him Nohah to tread him till before [the] Gibeah from east sun
A tak obklíčili Beniaminské, a honili i porazili je, od Manuha až naproti Gabaa k východu slunce.
44 and to fall: kill from Benjamin eight ten thousand man [obj] all these human strength
Tedy padlo Beniaminských osmnácte tisíc mužů; všickni ti byli muži silní.
45 and to turn and to flee [the] wilderness [to] to(wards) crag [the] (Rock of) Rimmon and to glean him in/on/with highway five thousand man and to cleave after him till Gidom and to smite from him thousand man
Těch pak, kteříž obrátivše se, utíkali na poušť k skále Remmon, zpaběrovali po cestách pět tisíc mužů; potom honili je až k Gidom, a zbili z nich dva tisíce mužů.
46 and to be all [the] to fall: kill from Benjamin twenty and five thousand man to draw sword in/on/with day [the] he/she/it [obj] all these human strength
A tak bylo všech, kteříž padli v ten den z Beniaminských, pětmecítma tisíc mužů bojovných, vše mužů silných.
47 and to turn and to flee [the] wilderness [to] to(wards) crag [the] (Rock of) Rimmon six hundred man and to dwell in/on/with crag (Rock of) Rimmon four month
I obrátilo se na poušť a uteklo k skále Remmon šest set mužů, kteříž zůstali v skále Remmon za čtyři měsíce.
48 and man Israel to return: turn back to(wards) son: descendant/people Benjamin and to smite them to/for lip: edge sword from city soundness till animal till all [the] to find also all [the] city [the] to find to send: burn in/on/with fire
Potom muži Izraelští navrátili se k synům Beniamin, a zbili je ostrostí meče, tak lidi v městech jako hovada, i všecko, což nalezeno bylo; také i všecka města, kteráž ještě pozůstávala, ohněm vypálili.
