Judges 11
1 and Jephthah [the] Gileadite to be mighty man strength and he/she/it son: child woman to fornicate and to beget Gilead [obj] Jephthah
१यिप्तह नामक गिलादी बड़ा शूरवीर था, और वह वेश्या का बेटा था; और गिलाद से यिप्तह उत्पन्न हुआ था।
2 and to beget woman: wife Gilead to/for him son: child and to magnify son: child [the] woman: wife and to drive out: divorce [obj] Jephthah and to say to/for him not to inherit in/on/with house: household father our for son: child woman another you(m. s.)
२गिलाद की स्त्री के भी बेटे उत्पन्न हुए; और जब वे बड़े हो गए तब यिप्तह को यह कहकर निकाल दिया, “तू तो पराई स्त्री का बेटा है; इस कारण हमारे पिता के घराने में कोई भाग न पाएगा।”

३तब यिप्तह अपने भाइयों के पास से भागकर तोब देश में रहने लगा; और यिप्तह के पास लुच्चे मनुष्य इकट्ठे हो गए; और उसके संग फिरने लगे।

४और कुछ दिनों के बाद अम्मोनी इस्राएल से लड़ने लगे।

५जब अम्मोनी इस्राएल से लड़ते थे, तब गिलाद के वृद्ध लोग यिप्तह को तोब देश से ले आने को गए;
6 and to say to/for Jephthah to go: come! [emph?] and to be to/for us to/for chief and to fight in/on/with son: descendant/people Ammon
६और यिप्तह से कहा, “चलकर हमारा प्रधान हो जा, कि हम अम्मोनियों से लड़ सके।”
7 and to say Jephthah to/for old: elder Gilead not you(m. p.) to hate [obj] me and to drive out: drive out me from house: household father my and why? to come (in): come to(wards) me now like/as as which distress to/for you
७यिप्तह ने गिलाद के वृद्ध लोगों से कहा, “क्या तुम ने मुझसे बैर करके मुझे मेरे पिता के घर से निकाल न दिया था? फिर अब संकट में पड़कर मेरे पास क्यों आए हो?”
8 and to say old: elder Gilead to(wards) Jephthah to/for so now to return: return to(wards) you and to go: went with us and to fight in/on/with son: descendant/people Ammon and to be to/for us to/for head: leader to/for all to dwell Gilead
८गिलाद के वृद्ध लोगों ने यिप्तह से कहा, “इस कारण हम अब तेरी ओर फिरे हैं, कि तू हमारे संग चलकर अम्मोनियों से लड़े; तब तू हमारी ओर से गिलाद के सब निवासियों का प्रधान ठहरेगा।”
9 and to say Jephthah to(wards) old: elder Gilead if to return: rescue you(m. p.) [obj] me to/for to fight in/on/with son: descendant/people Ammon and to give: give LORD [obj] them to/for face: before my I to be to/for you to/for head: leader
९यिप्तह ने गिलाद के वृद्ध लोगों से पूछा, “यदि तुम मुझे अम्मोनियों से लड़ने को फिर मेरे घर ले चलो, और यहोवा उन्हें मेरे हाथ कर दे, तो क्या मैं तुम्हारा प्रधान ठहरूँगा?”
10 and to say old: elder Gilead to(wards) Jephthah LORD to be to hear: judge between us if not like/as word your so to make: do
१०गिलाद के वृद्ध लोगों ने यिप्तह से कहा, “निश्चय हम तेरी इस बात के अनुसार करेंगे; यहोवा हमारे और तेरे बीच में इन वचनों का सुननेवाला है।”
11 and to go: went Jephthah with old: elder Gilead and to set: make [the] people [obj] him upon them to/for head: leader and to/for chief and to speak: speak Jephthah [obj] all word his to/for face: before LORD in/on/with Mizpah
११तब यिप्तह गिलाद के वृद्ध लोगों के संग चला, और लोगों ने उसको अपने ऊपर मुखिया और प्रधान ठहराया; और यिप्तह ने अपनी सब बातें मिस्पा में यहोवा के सम्मुख कह सुनाईं।
12 and to send: depart Jephthah messenger to(wards) king son: descendant/people Ammon to/for to say what? to/for me and to/for you for to come (in): come to(wards) me to/for to fight in/on/with land: country/planet my
१२तब यिप्तह ने अम्मोनियों के राजा के पास दूतों से यह कहला भेजा, “तुझे मुझसे क्या काम, कि तू मेरे देश में लड़ने को आया है?”
13 and to say king son: descendant/people Ammon to(wards) messenger Jephthah for to take: take Israel [obj] land: country/planet my in/on/with to ascend: rise he from Egypt from Arnon and till [the] Jabbok and till [the] Jordan and now to return: rescue [emph?] [obj] them in/on/with peace
१३अम्मोनियों के राजा ने यिप्तह के दूतों से कहा, “कारण यह है, कि जब इस्राएली मिस्र से आए, तब अर्नोन से यब्बोक और यरदन तक जो मेरा देश था उसको उन्होंने छीन लिया; इसलिए अब उसको बिना झगड़ा किए लौटा दे।”
14 and to add: again still Jephthah and to send: depart messenger to(wards) king son: descendant/people Ammon
१४तब यिप्तह ने फिर अम्मोनियों के राजा के पास यह कहने को दूत भेजे,
15 and to say to/for him thus to say Jephthah not to take: take Israel [obj] land: country/planet Moab and [obj] land: country/planet son: descendant/people Ammon
१५“यिप्तह तुझ से यह कहता है, कि इस्राएल ने न तो मोआब का देश ले लिया और न अम्मोनियों का,
16 for in/on/with to ascend: rise they from Egypt and to go: went Israel in/on/with wilderness till sea Red (Sea) and to come (in): come Kadesh [to]
१६वरन् जब वे मिस्र से निकले, और इस्राएली जंगल में होते हुए लाल समुद्र तक चले, और कादेश को आए,
17 and to send: depart Israel messenger to(wards) king Edom to/for to say to pass please in/on/with land: country/planet your and not to hear: hear king Edom and also to(wards) king Moab to send: depart and not be willing and to dwell Israel in/on/with Kadesh
१७तब इस्राएल ने एदोम के राजा के पास दूतों से यह कहला भेजा, ‘मुझे अपने देश में से होकर जाने दे;’ और एदोम के राजा ने उनकी न मानी। इसी रीति उसने मोआब के राजा से भी कहला भेजा, और उसने भी न माना। इसलिए इस्राएल कादेश में रह गया।
18 and to go: walk in/on/with wilderness and to turn: surround [obj] land: country/planet Edom and [obj] land: country/planet Moab and to come (in): come from east sun to/for land: country/planet Moab and to camp [emph?] in/on/with side: beside Arnon and not to come (in): come in/on/with border: area Moab for Arnon border: boundary Moab
१८तब उसने जंगल में चलते-चलते एदोम और मोआब दोनों देशों के बाहर-बाहर घूमकर मोआब देश की पूर्व की ओर से आकर अर्नोन के इसी पार अपने डेरे डाले; और मोआब की सीमा के भीतर न गया, क्योंकि मोआब की सीमा अर्नोन थी।
19 and to send: depart Israel messenger to(wards) Sihon king [the] Amorite king Heshbon and to say to/for him Israel to pass please in/on/with land: country/planet your till place my
१९फिर इस्राएल ने एमोरियों के राजा सीहोन के पास जो हेशबोन का राजा था दूतों से यह कहला भेजा, ‘हमें अपने देश में से होकर हमारे स्थान को जाने दे।’
20 and not be faithful Sihon [obj] Israel to pass in/on/with border: area his and to gather Sihon [obj] all people: soldiers his and to camp in/on/with Jahaz [to] and to fight with Israel
२०परन्तु सीहोन ने इस्राएल का इतना विश्वास न किया कि उसे अपने देश में से होकर जाने देता; वरन् अपनी सारी प्रजा को इकट्ठा कर अपने डेरे यहस में खड़े करके इस्राएल से लड़ा।
21 and to give: give LORD God Israel [obj] Sihon and [obj] all people: soldiers his in/on/with hand: power Israel and to smite them and to possess: take Israel [obj] all land: country/planet [the] Amorite to dwell [the] land: country/planet [the] he/she/it
२१और इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा ने सीहोन को सारी प्रजा समेत इस्राएल के हाथ में कर दिया, और उन्होंने उनको मार लिया; इसलिए इस्राएल उस देश के निवासी एमोरियों के सारे देश का अधिकारी हो गया।
22 and to possess: take [obj] all border: area [the] Amorite from Arnon and till [the] Jabbok and from [the] wilderness and till [the] Jordan
२२अर्थात् वह अर्नोन से यब्बोक तक और जंगल से ले यरदन तक एमोरियों के सारे देश का अधिकारी हो गया।
23 and now LORD God Israel to possess: take [obj] [the] Amorite from face: before people his Israel and you(m. s.) to possess: take him
२३इसलिए अब इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा ने अपनी इस्राएली प्रजा के सामने से एमोरियों को उनके देश से निकाल दिया है; फिर क्या तू उसका अधिकारी होने पाएगा?
24 not [obj] which to possess: possess you Chemosh God your [obj] him to possess: take and [obj] all which to possess: take LORD God our from face: before our [obj] him to possess: take
२४क्या तू उसका अधिकारी न होगा, जिसका तेरा कमोश देवता तुझे अधिकारी कर दे? इसी प्रकार से जिन लोगों को हमारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हमारे सामने से निकाले, उनके देश के अधिकारी हम होंगे।
25 and now be pleasing be pleasing you(m. s.) from Balak son: child Zippor king Moab to contend to contend with Israel if to fight to fight in/on/with them
२५फिर क्या तू मोआब के राजा सिप्पोर के पुत्र बालाक से कुछ अच्छा है? क्या उसने कभी इस्राएलियों से कुछ भी झगड़ा किया? क्या वह उनसे कभी लड़ा?
26 in/on/with to dwell Israel in/on/with Heshbon and in/on/with daughter: village her and in/on/with Aroer and in/on/with daughter: village her and in/on/with all [the] city which upon hand: bank Arnon three hundred year and why? not to rescue in/on/with time [the] he/she/it
२६जबकि इस्राएल हेशबोन और उसके गाँवों में, और अरोएर और उसके गाँवों में, और अर्नोन के किनारे के सब नगरों में तीन सौ वर्ष से बसा है, तो इतने दिनों में तुम लोगों ने उसको क्यों नहीं छुड़ा लिया?

२७मैंने तेरा अपराध नहीं किया; तू ही मुझसे युद्ध छेड़कर बुरा व्यवहार करता है; इसलिए यहोवा जो न्यायी है, वह इस्राएलियों और अम्मोनियों के बीच में आज न्याय करे।”
28 and not to hear: hear king son: descendant/people Ammon to(wards) word Jephthah which to send: depart to(wards) him
२८तो भी अम्मोनियों के राजा ने यिप्तह की ये बातें न मानीं जिनको उसने कहला भेजा था।
29 and to be upon Jephthah spirit LORD and to pass [obj] [the] Gilead and [obj] Manasseh and to pass [obj] Mizpah Gilead and from Mizpah Gilead to pass son: descendant/people Ammon
२९तब यहोवा का आत्मा यिप्तह में समा गया, और वह गिलाद और मनश्शे से होकर गिलाद के मिस्पे में आया, और गिलाद के मिस्पे से होकर अम्मोनियों की ओर चला।
30 and to vow Jephthah vow to/for LORD and to say if to give: give to give: give [obj] son: descendant/people Ammon in/on/with hand: power my
३०और यिप्तह ने यह कहकर यहोवा की मन्नत मानी, “यदि तू निःसन्देह अम्मोनियों को मेरे हाथ में कर दे,
31 and to be [the] to come out: come which to come out: come from door house: home my to/for to encounter: meet me in/on/with to return: return I in/on/with peace from son: descendant/people Ammon and to be to/for LORD and to ascend: offer up him burnt offering
३१तो जब मैं कुशल के साथ अम्मोनियों के पास से लौट आऊँ तब जो कोई मेरे भेंट के लिये मेरे घर के द्वार से निकले वह यहोवा का ठहरेगा, और मैं उसे होमबलि करके चढ़ाऊँगा।”
32 and to pass Jephthah to(wards) son: descendant/people Ammon to/for to fight in/on/with them (and to give: give them *L(abh)*) LORD in/on/with hand: power his
३२तब यिप्तह अम्मोनियों से लड़ने को उनकी ओर गया; और यहोवा ने उनको उसके हाथ में कर दिया।
33 and to smite them from Aroer and till to come (in): towards you Minnith twenty city and till Abel-keramim Abel-keramim wound great: large much and be humble son: descendant/people Ammon from face: before son: descendant/people Israel
३३और वह अरोएर से ले मिन्नीत तक, जो बीस नगर हैं, वरन् आबेलकरामीम तक जीतते-जीतते उन्हें बहुत बड़ी मार से मारता गया। और अम्मोनी इस्राएलियों से हार गए।
34 and to come (in): come Jephthah [the] Mizpah to(wards) house: home his and behold daughter his to come out: come to/for to encounter: meet him in/on/with tambourine and in/on/with dance and except he/she/it only nothing to/for him from him son: child or daughter
३४जब यिप्तह मिस्पा को अपने घर आया, तब उसकी बेटी डफ बजाती और नाचती हुई उससे भेंट करने के लिये निकल आई; वह उसकी एकलौती थी; उसको छोड़ उसके न तो कोई बेटा था और न कोई बेटी।
35 and to be like/as to see: see he [obj] her and to tear [obj] garment his and to say alas! daughter my to bow to bow me and you(f. s.) to be in/on/with to trouble me and I to open lip my to(wards) LORD and not be able to/for to return: turn back
३५उसको देखते ही उसने अपने कपड़े फाड़कर कहा, “हाय, मेरी बेटी! तूने कमर तोड़ दी, और तू भी मेरे कष्ट देनेवालों में हो गई है; क्योंकि मैंने यहोवा को वचन दिया है, और उसे टाल नहीं सकता।”
36 and to say to(wards) him father my to open [obj] lip your to(wards) LORD to make: do to/for me like/as as which to come out: speak from lip your after which to make: do to/for you LORD vengeance from enemy your from son: descendant/people Ammon
३६उसने उससे कहा, “हे मेरे पिता, तूने जो यहोवा को वचन दिया है, तो जो बात तेरे मुँह से निकली है उसी के अनुसार मुझसे बर्ताव कर, क्योंकि यहोवा ने तेरे अम्मोनी शत्रुओं से तेरा बदला लिया है।”

३७फिर उसने अपने पिता से कहा, “मेरे लिये यह किया जाए, कि दो महीने तक मुझे छोड़े रह, कि मैं अपनी सहेलियों सहित जाकर पहाड़ों पर फिरती हुई अपने कुँवारेपन पर रोती रहूँ।”

३८उसने कहा, “जा।” तब उसने उसे दो महीने की छुट्टी दी; इसलिए वह अपनी सहेलियों सहित चली गई, और पहाड़ों पर अपने कुँवारेपन पर रोती रही।
39 and to be from end two month and to return: return to(wards) father her and to make: do to/for her [obj] vow his which to vow and he/she/it not to know man and to be statute: decree in/on/with Israel
३९दो महीने के बीतने पर वह अपने पिता के पास लौट आई, और उसने उसके विषय में अपनी मानी हुई मन्नत को पूरा किया। और उस कन्या ने पुरुष का मुँह कभी न देखा था। इसलिए इस्राएलियों में यह रीति चली

४०कि इस्राएली स्त्रियाँ प्रतिवर्ष यिप्तह गिलादी की बेटी का यश गाने को वर्ष में चार दिन तक जाया करती थीं।
