Joshua 4

၁ဣသရေလလူမျိုးတစ်ရပ်လုံးယော်ဒန်မြစ် ကိုဖြတ်ကူးပြီးသောအခါ ထာဝရဘုရား သည်ယောရှုအား၊-
2 to take: take to/for you from [the] people two ten human man one man one from tribe
၂``ဣသရေလတစ်နွယ်လျှင်တစ်ဦးကျဖြင့် တစ်ဆယ့်နှစ်ယောက်ကိုရွေးချယ်၍၊-
3 and to command [obj] them to/for to say to lift: raise to/for you from this from midst [the] Jordan from station foot [the] priest to establish: establish two ten stone and to pass: bring [obj] them with you and to rest [obj] them in/on/with lodging which to lodge in/on/with him [the] night
၃ယော်ဒန်မြစ်လယ်၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်များရပ်တန့် ခဲ့သောနေရာမှ ကျောက်တုံးတစ်ဆယ့်နှစ်တုံး ကိုသယ်ယူစေလော့။ သင်တို့ယနေ့စခန်းချ ရာအရပ်တွင်ထိုကျောက်တုံးများကိုထား လော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

၄ထို့ကြောင့်ယောရှုသည်ရွေးချယ်ပြီးသောလူ တစ်ဆယ့်နှစ်ယောက်ကိုဆင့်ခေါ်၍၊-

၅``သင်တို့သည်ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ပဋိညာဉ်သေတ္တာတော်ရှေ့က ယော်ဒန်မြစ်ထဲ သို့ဆင်းလော့။ ဣသရေလတစ်နွယ်စီအတွက် တစ်ဦးလျှင်ကျောက်တုံးတစ်တုံးကျသယ် ဆောင်ခဲ့ရမည်။-

၇သင်တို့ကထာဝရဘုရား၏ပဋိညာဉ်သေတ္တာ တော်ယော်ဒန်မြစ်ကိုဖြတ်ကူးစဉ်အခါက မြစ်ရေစီးရပ်တန့်သွားကြောင်းပြန်ပြောရ ကြမည်။ ဤကျောက်တုံးများသည်ဤအရပ် တွင်ဖြစ်ပျက်ခဲ့သမျှတို့ကိုဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့အားအစဉ်သတိရစေ လိမ့်မည်'' ဟုဆို၏။

၉ယောရှုသည်ယော်ဒန်မြစ်လယ်တွင်ပဋိညာဉ် သေတ္တာတော်ကို ပင့်ဆောင်သောယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် များရပ်သည့်နေရာ၌လည်း ကျောက်တုံးတစ် ဆယ့်နှစ်တုံးကိုစိုက်ထူထား၏။ (ထိုကျောက် တုံးများသည်ထိုနေရာတွင်ယနေ့တိုင် တည်ရှိ၏။-)

၁၀ယောရှုမှတစ်ဆင့်ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်မှာ သမျှကို လူအပေါင်းတို့ဆောင်ရွက်ပြီးစီး သည်အထိ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့သည်ယော်ဒန် မြစ်လယ်တွင်ရပ်နေကြ၏။ ဤသို့ဆောင် ရွက်ရန်မောရှေမှာကြားခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်၏။ လူတို့သည်လည်းမြစ်ကိုအလျင်အမြန် ဖြတ်ကူးကြ၏။-

၁၅ထိုနောက်ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ပဋိညာဉ် သေတ္တာတော်ကို ပင့်ဆောင်သောယဇ်ပုရော ဟိတ်များယော်ဒန်မြစ်ထဲမှတက်လာရန် ယောရှုအားဆင့်ဆိုစေတော်မူ၏။-

၁၇ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ယောရှုဆင့်ဆိုလေ၏။-

၂၁ထိုနောက်သူသည်ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား တို့အား``နောင်အခါ၌သင်တို့၏သားသမီး တို့ကဤကျောက်တုံးများသည် မည်သည့် အဋ္ဌိပ္ပါယ်ကိုဆောင်ပါသနည်းဟူ၍သင် တို့အားမေးမြန်းကြလျှင်၊-

၂၂သင်တို့ကဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် ယော်ဒန်မြစ်ကိုခြောက်သွေ့သောမြေပေါ် ဖြတ်ကူးခဲ့ကြောင်းကိုပြောကြားလော့။-

၂၃သင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ပင်လယ်နီကိုခြောက်သွေ့စေတော်မူသကဲ့သို့ ယော်ဒန်မြစ်ကိုသင်တို့ဖြတ်ကူးပြီးသည် တိုင်အောင်ခန်းခြောက်စေတော်မူကြောင်းပြော ကြားလော့။-

၂၄ဤအံ့ဖွယ်သောနိမိတ်လက္ခဏာကြောင့်ကမ္ဘာ ပေါ်ရှိလူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏တန်ခိုးတော်ကြီးမားပုံကိုသိမြင်ကြ လိမ့်မည်။ သင်တို့သည်လည်းသင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားကို အစဉ်အမြဲ ကြောက်ရွံ့ရိုသေကြလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုဆိုလေ ၏။
