دومین قرعه به نام شمعون درآمد. زمین خاندانهای این قبیله، در داخل مرزهای زمین یهودا قرار داشت و شامل این شهرها می‌شد: بئرشبع، شبع، مولاده،

2 and to be to/for them in/on/with inheritance their Beersheba Beersheba and Sheba and Moladah

3 and Hazar-shual Hazar-shual and Balah and Ezem

حَصَرشوعال، بالح، عاصم،

4 and Eltolad and Bethul and Hormah

التولد، بتول، حرمه،

5 and Ziklag and Beth-marcaboth [the] Beth-marcaboth and Hazar-susah Hazar-susah

صقلغ، بیت‌مرکبوت، حصرسوسه،

6 and Beth-lebaoth Beth-lebaoth and Sharuhen city three ten and village their

بیت‌لباعوت و شاروحن، جمعاً سیزده شهر با روستاهای اطراف.

7 Ain Rimmon and Ether and Ashan city four and village their

عین، رمون، عاتر و عاشان، جمعاً چهار شهر با روستاهای اطراف

8 and all [the] village which around [the] city [the] these till Baalath-beer Baalath-beer Ramah Negeb this inheritance tribe son: descendant/people Simeon to/for family their

و تمام روستاهای اطراف این شهرها تا بعلت‌بئیر (که رامهٔ نگب هم گفته می‌شد). این بود زمینی که به خاندانهای قبیلهٔ شمعون داده شد.

این زمین از سهمی بود که قبلاً برای قبیلهٔ یهودا تعیین گردیده بود، چون زمین سهم یهودا برای ایشان زیاد بود.

10 and to ascend: rise [the] allotted [the] third to/for son: descendant/people Zebulun to/for family their and to be border: area inheritance their till Sarid

سومین قرعه به نام زبولون درآمد. مرز زمین خاندانهای این قبیله از سارید شروع می‌شد

11 and to ascend: rise border: boundary their to/for sea: west [to] and Mareal and to fall on in/on/with Dabbesheth and to fall on to(wards) [the] torrent: river which upon face: east Jokneam

و به طرف مغرب تا مرعله و دباشه کشیده شده، به درهٔ شرق یُقنَعام می‌رسید.

12 and to return: return from Sarid east [to] east [the] sun upon border: boundary Chisloth-tabor Chisloth-tabor and to come out: extends to(wards) [the] Daberath and to ascend: rise Japhia

از طرف شرق سارید نیز تا حدود کسلوت تابور و از آنجا تا دابره و یافیع کشیده می‌شد.

13 and from there to pass east [to] east [to] Gath-hepher [to] Gath-hepher Eth-kazin [to] Eth-kazin and to come out: extends Rimmon [the] to border [the] Neah

باز به طرف شرق امتداد یافته، به جت حافر و عت قاصین کشیده می‌شد، سپس از رمون گذشته، به نیعه می‌رسید.

این خط مرزی در شمال، به طرف حناتون برمی‌گشت و به درهٔ یفتح‌ئیل منتهی می‌شد.

15 and Kattath and Nahalol and Shimron and Idalah and Bethlehem Bethlehem city two ten and village their

شهرهای قطه، نهلال، شمرون، یِدَلَه و بیت‌لحم نیز جزو ملک قبیلهٔ زبولون بودند. جمعاً دوازده شهر با روستاهای اطرافشان به خاندانهای قبیلهٔ زبولون تعلق گرفت.

چهارمین قرعه به نام یساکار برحسب خاندانهایشان درآمد. شهرهای خاندانهای این قبیله عبارت بودند از: یزرعیل، کسلوت، شونم،

18 and to be border: area their Jezreel [to] and [the] Chesulloth and Shunem

19 and Hapharaim and Shion and Anaharath

حفارایم، شی‌ئون، اناحره،

20 and [the] Rabbith and Kishion and Ebez

ربیت، قشیون، آبص،

21 and Remeth and En-gannim En-gannim and En-haddah En-haddah and Beth-pazzez Beth-pazzez

رمه، عین‌جنیم، عین‌حده و بیت‌فصیص.

22 and to fall on [the] border: boundary in/on/with (Mount) Tabor (and Shahazumah *Q(K)*) and Beth-shemesh Beth-shemesh and to be outgoing border: boundary their [the] Jordan city six ten and village their

خط مرزی قبیلهٔ یساکار از شهرهای تابور، شحصیمه و بیت‌شمس می‌گذشت و به رود اردن منتهی می‌شد. جمعاً شانزده شهر با روستاهای اطرافشان به خاندانهای قبیلهٔ یساکار تعلق گرفت.

پنجمین قرعه به نام اشیر درآمد. شهرهای خاندانهای این قبیله عبارت بودند از: حلقه، حلی، باطَن، اکشاف،

25 and to be border: area their Helkath and Hali and Beten and Achshaph

26 and Allammelech and Amad and Mishal and to fall on in/on/with Carmel [the] sea: west [to] and in/on/with Shihor-libnath Shihor-libnath

الملک، عمعاد و مش‌آل، خط مرزی قبیلهٔ اشیر در غرب، به طرف کرمل و شیحور لبنه کشیده می‌شد

27 and to return: return east [the] sun Beth-dagon Beth-dagon and to fall on in/on/with Zebulun and in/on/with (Iphtahel) Valley (Valley of) Iphtahel (Valley of) Iphtahel north [to] Beth-emek Beth-emek and Neiel and to come out: extends to(wards) Cabul from left

و از آنجا به سمت مشرق به طرف بیت‌داجون می‌پیچید و به زبولون و درهٔ یفتح‌ئیل می‌رسید. از آنجا به طرف شمال به سوی بیت‌عامق و نعی‌ئیل امتداد یافته از شرق کابول می‌گذشت.

28 and Ebron and Rehob and Hammon and Kanah till Sidon (Sidon) the Great

سپس از حبرون، رحوب، حمون، قانه و صیدون بزرگ می‌گذشت.

29 and to return: return [the] border: boundary [the] Ramah and till city fortification Tyre and to return: return [the] border: boundary Hosah (and to be *Q(K)*) outgoing his [the] sea [to] from Mahalab Achzib [to]

سپس این خط مرزی به طرف رامه می‌پیچید و به شهر حصاردار صور می‌رسید و باز به طرف شهر حوصه پیچیده در ناحیۀ اکزیب به دریای مدیترانه منتهی می‌شد.

30 and Ummah and Aphek and Rehob city twenty and two and village their

عمه، عفیق و رحوب نیز جزو ملک اشیر بودند. جمعاً بیست و دو شهر با روستاهای اطرافشان به خاندانهای قبیلهٔ اشیر برحسب خاندانهایشان تعلق گرفت.

32 to/for son: descendant/people Naphtali to come out: casting(lot) [the] allotted [the] sixth to/for son: descendant/people Naphtali to/for family their

ششمین قرعه به نام نفتالی درآمد. خط مرزی زمین خاندانهای این قبیله از حالف شروع می‌شد و از بلوطی که در صعنیم است گذشته، در امتداد ادامی، ناقب و یبن‌ئیل به لقوم می‌رسید و از آنجا به رود اردن منتهی می‌شد.

33 and to be border: boundary their from Heleph from oak in/on/with Zaanannim and Adami [the] (Adami)-nekeb and Jabneel till Lakkum and to be outgoing his [the] Jordan

34 and to return: return [the] border: boundary sea: west [to] Aznoth-tabor Aznoth-tabor and to come out: extends from there Hukkok [to] and to fall on in/on/with Zebulun from south and in/on/with Asher to fall on from sea: west and in/on/with Judah [the] Jordan east [the] sun

این خط مرزی در غرب به سمت ازنوت تابور می‌پیچید و از آنجا به طرف حقوق پیش می‌رفت. زمین نفتالی با زبولون در جنوب، با اشیر در غرب و با رود اردن در شرق هم مرز می‌شد.

35 and city fortification [the] Ziddim Zer and Hammath Rakkath and Chinneroth

شهرهای حصارداری که در زمین نفتالی واقع شده بودند از این قرارند: صدیم، صیر، حَمَت، رَقَت، کنارت،

36 and Adamah and [the] Ramah and Hazor

ادامه، رامه، حاصور،

37 and Kedesh and Edrei and En-hazor En-hazor

قادش، ادرعی، عین‌حاصور،

38 and Yiron and Migdal-el Migdal-el Horem and Beth-anath Beth-anath and Beth-shemesh Beth-shemesh city nine ten and village their

یَرون، مجدل‌ئیل، حوریم، بیت‌عنات و بیت‌شمس. جمعاً نوزده شهر با روستاهای اطرافشان به خاندانهای قبیلهٔ نفتالی تعلق گرفت.

39 this inheritance tribe son: descendant/people Naphtali to/for family their [the] city and village their

40 to/for tribe son: descendant/people Dan to/for family their to come out: casting(lot) [the] allotted [the] seventh

هفتمین قرعه به نام دان درآمد. شهرهای خاندانهای این قبیله عبارت بودند از: صرعه، اِشتائُل، عیرشمس،

41 and to be border: area inheritance their Zorah and Eshtaol and Ir-shemesh Ir-shemesh

42 and Shaalbim and Aijalon and Ithlah

شَعَلبین، اَیَلون، یتله،

43 and Elon and Timnah [to] and Ekron

الون، تمنه، عقرون،

44 and Eltekeh and Gibbethon and Baalath

اَلتَقیت، جِبَتون، بعله،

45 and Jehud and Bene-berak Bene-berak and Gath-rimmon Gath-rimmon

یهود، بنی‌برق، جت‌رمون،

46 and Me-jarkon [the] Me-jarkon and [the] Rakkon with [the] border: area opposite Joppa

میاه‌یرقون، رقون و همچنین زمین مقابل یافا.

47 and to come out: come border: area son: descendant/people Dan from them and to ascend: rise son: descendant/people Dan and to fight with Leshem and to capture [obj] her and to smite [obj] her to/for lip: edge sword and to possess: take [obj] her and to dwell in/on/with her and to call: call by to/for Leshem Dan like/as name Dan father their

(ولی زمینی که برای قبیلهٔ دان تعیین شد، برای ایشان کافی نبود. پس قبیلهٔ دان به شهر لَشَم در شمال حمله برده، آن را تصرف نمودند و اهالی آنجا را قتل عام کردند. سپس در آنجا ساکن شدند و نام جد خویش، دان را بر آن شهر نهادند.)

این شهرها و روستاهای اطرافشان به خاندانهای قبیلهٔ دان تعلق گرفت.

پس از اینکه زمینها میان قبایل اسرائیل تقسیم شد و حدود هر کدام تعیین گردید، قوم اسرائیل مطابق دستور خداوند، به یوشع ملکی پیشنهاد کردند و او تمنه سارح را که در میان کوهستان افرایم واقع شده بود برای خود برگزید و آن را دوباره بنا کرد و در آن ساکن شد.

به این ترتیب، قرعه‌کشی و تقسیم زمین بین قبایل اسرائیل در شیلوه، جلوی دروازهٔ خیمهٔ ملاقات انجام شد. در این قرعه‌کشی که در حضور خداوند برگزار گردید، العازار کاهن، یوشع و سران قبایل حاضر بودند و نظارت می‌کردند.
