Dann fiel das Los für die Kinder Joseph: vom Jordan bei Jericho an, von den Wassern von Jericho ostwärts; die Wüste, die sich von Jericho hinaufzieht auf das Gebirge nach Bethel;

und [die Grenze geht] von Bethel heraus gen Lus und reicht bis an die Grenze der Architer, bis Atarot,

und zieht sich herab westlich zu der Grenze der Japhletiter, bis an die Grenze des untern Beth-Horon und bis gen Geser, und ihr Ende bildet das Meer.

Das haben die Kinder Josephs, Manasse und Ephraim, zum Erbteil empfangen.
