Tedy się stało słowo Pańskie do Jonasza powtóre, mówiąc:

Wstań, idź do Niniwy, tego miasta wielkiego, a każ przeciwko niemu to, coć rozkazuję.

Wstał tedy Jonasz, i poszedł do Niniwy według słowa Pańskiego. (A Niniwe było miasto bardzo wielkie na trzy dni drogi.)
4 and to profane/begin: begin Jonah to/for to come (in): come in/on/with city journey day one and to call: call out and to say still forty day and Nineveh to overturn
Tedy Jonasz począł chodzić po mieście, ile mógł za jeden dzień ujść, i wołał mówiąc: Po czterdziestu dniach Niniwe będzie wywrócone.

I uwierzyli Niniwczycy Bogu; a zapowiedziawszy post oblekli się w wory, od największego z nich aż do najmniejszego z nich.
6 and to touch [the] word to(wards) king Nineveh and to arise: rise from throne his and to pass: bring clothing his from upon him and to cover sackcloth and to dwell upon [the] ashes
Bo gdy ta rzecz przyszła do króla Niniwskiego, powstawszy z stolicy swojej złożył z siebie odzienie swoje, a oblekłszy się w wór, siedział w popiele.
7 and to cry out and to say in/on/with Nineveh from taste [the] king and great: large his to/for to say [the] man and [the] animal [the] cattle and [the] flock not to perceive anything not to pasture and water not to drink
I rozkazał wywołać i opowiadać w Niniwie z dekretu królewskiego, i książąt swoich, tak mówiąc: Ludzie i bydło, woły i owce niech nic nie ukuszają, i niech się nie pasą, i wody nie piją;
8 and to cover sackcloth [the] man and [the] animal and to call: call to to(wards) God in/on/with force and to return: repent man: anyone from way: conduct his [the] distress: evil and from [the] violence which in/on/with palm their
Ale się niech okryją worami ludzie i bydło, a niech do Boga gorliwie wołają, a niech się odwróci każdy od złej drogi swojej i od łupiestwa, które jest w ręku jego.
9 who? to know to return: repent and to be sorry: relent [the] God and to return: repent from burning anger face: anger his and not to perish
Kto wie, jeźli się nie obróci Bóg, a nie użali się tego, nie odwrócili się, mówię, od popędliwości gniewu swego, abyśmy nie zginęli.
10 and to see: see [the] God [obj] deed their for to return: repent from way: conduct their [the] distress: evil and to be sorry: relent [the] God upon [the] distress: harm which to speak: speak to/for to make: do to/for them and not to make: do
I widział Bóg sprawy ich, iż się odwrócili od złej drogi swej i użalił się Bóg nad tem złem, które rzekł, że im miał uczynić, a nie uczynił.
