| فَقَالَ أَيُّوبُ: | ١ |
2 truly to know for so and what? to justify human with God
| «قَدْ عَلِمْتُ يَقِيناً أَنَّ الأَمْرَ كَذَلِكَ، وَلَكِنْ كَيْفَ يَتَبَرَّرُ الإِنْسَانُ أَمَامَ اللهِ؟ | ٢ |
3 if to delight in to/for to contend with him not to answer him one from thousand
| إِنْ شَاءَ الْمَرْءُ أَنْ يَتَحَاجَّ مَعَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ يَعْجِزُ عَنِ الإِجَابَةِ عَنْ حُجَّةٍ مِنْ أَلْفٍ. | ٣ |
4 wise heart and strong strength who? to harden to(wards) him and to complete
| هُوَ حَكِيمُ الْقَلْبِ وَعَظِيمُ الْقُوَّةِ، فَمَنْ تَصَلَّبَ أَمَامَهُ وَسَلِمَ؟ | ٤ |
5 [the] to proceed mountain: mount and not to know which to overturn them in/on/with face: anger his
| هُوَ الَّذِي يُزَحْزِحُ الْجِبَالَ، فَلا تَدْرِي حِينَ يَقْلِبُهَا فِي غَضَبِهِ. | ٥ |

| هُوَ الَّذِي يُزَعْزِعُ الأَرْضَ مِنْ مُسْتَقَرِّهَا فَتَتَزَلْزَلُ أَعْمِدَتُهَا. | ٦ |

| هُوَ الَّذِي يُصْدِرُ أَمْرَهُ إِلَى الشَّمْسِ فَلا تُشْرِقُ، وَيَخْتِمُ عَلَى النُّجُومِ. | ٧ |
8 to stretch heaven to/for alone him and to tread upon high place sea
| يَبْسُطُ وَحْدَهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ، وَيَمْشِي عَلَى أَعَالِي الْبَحْرِ. | ٨ |
9 to make Bear Orion and Pleiades and chamber south
| هُوَ الَّذِي صَنَعَ النَّعْشَ وَالْجَبَّارَ وَالثُّرَيَّا وَمَخَادِعَ الْجَنُوبِ، | ٩ |
10 to make: do great: large till nothing search and to wonder till nothing number
| صَانِعُ عَظَائِمَ لَا تُسْتَقْصَى وَعَجَائِبَ لَا تُحْصَى. | ١٠ |
11 look! to pass upon me and not to see: see and to pass and not to understand to/for him
| اللهُ يَمُرُّ بِي فَلا أَرَاهُ وَيَجْتَازُ فَلا أَشْعُرُ بِهِ. | ١١ |
12 look! to seize who? to return: return him who? to say to(wards) him what? to make: do
| إِذَا خَطَفَ مَنْ يَرُدُّهُ، أَوْ يَقُولُ لَهُ: مَاذَا تَفْعَلُ؟ | ١٢ |
13 god not to return: turn back face: anger his (underneath: under him *Q(k)*) to bow to help Rahab monster
| لَا يَرُدُّ اللهُ غَضَبَهُ؛ تَخْضَعُ لَهُ كِبْرِيَاءُ الأَشْرَار | ١٣ |
14 also for I to answer him to choose word my with him
| فَكَيْفَ إِذاً يُمْكِنُنِي أَنْ أُجِيبَهُ، وَأَتَخَيَّرَ كَلِمَاتِي فِي مُخَاطَبَتِهِ؟ | ١٤ |
15 which if to justify not to answer to/for to judge me be gracious
| لأَنِّي عَلَى الرَّغْمِ مِنْ بَرَاءَتِي لَا أَقْدِرُ أَنْ أُجِيبَهُ، إِنَّمَا أَسْتَرْحِمُ دَيَّانِي. | ١٥ |
16 if to call: call to and to answer me not be faithful for to listen voice my
| حَتَّى لَوْ دَعَوْتُ وَاسْتَجَابَ لِي، فَإِنِّي لَا أُصَدِّقُ أَنَّهُ قَدِ اسْتَمَعَ لِي. | ١٦ |
17 which in/on/with storm to bruise me and to multiply wound my for nothing
| يَسْحَقُنِي بِالْعَاصِفَةِ وَيُكْثِرُ جُرُوحِي مِنْ غَيْرِ سَبَبٍ. | ١٧ |
18 not to give: allow me to return: return spirit: breath my for to satisfy me bitterness
| لَا يَدَعُنِي أَلْتَقِطُ أَنْفَاسِي بَلْ يُشْبِعُنِي مَرَائِرَ. | ١٨ |
19 if to/for strength strong behold and if to/for justice who? to appoint me
| إِنْ كَانَتِ الْقَضِيَّةُ قَضِيَّةَ قُوَّةٍ، فَهُوَ يَقُولُ مُتَحَدِّياً: هَأَنَذَا. وَإِنْ كَانَتِ الْقَضِيَّةُ قَضِيَّةَ الْقَضَاءِ، فَمَنْ يُحَاكِمُهُ؟ | ١٩ |
20 if to justify lip my be wicked me complete I and to twist me
| إِنْ ظَنَنْتُ نَفْسِي بَرِيئاً، فَإِنَّ فَمِي يَحْكُمُ عَلَيَّ، وَإِنْ كُنْتُ كَامِلاً، فَإِنَّهُ يُجَرِّمُنِي. | ٢٠ |
21 complete I not to know soul my to reject life my
| أَنَا كَامِلٌ، لِذَا لَا أُبَالِي بِنَفْسِي، أَمَّا حَيَاتِي فَقَدْ كَرِهْتُهَا. | ٢١ |

| وَلَكِنَّ الأَمْرَ سِيَّانِ، لِذَلِكَ قُلْتُ: إِنَّهُ يُفْنِي الْكَامِلَ والشِّرِّيرَ عَلَى حَدٍّ سَواءٍ! | ٢٢ |
23 if whip to die suddenly to/for despair innocent to mock
| عِنْدَمَا تُؤَدِّي ضَرَبَاتُ السَّوْطِ إِلَى الْمَوْتِ الْمُفَاجِئِ يَسْخَرُ مِنْ بُؤْسِ الأَبْرِيَاءِ | ٢٣ |

| فَقَدْ عَهِدَ بِالأَرْضِ إِلَى يَدِ الشِّرِّيرِ، وَأَعْمَى عُيُونَ قُضَاتِهَا. إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ هُوَ الْفَاعِلُ، إِذاً مَنْ هُوَ؟ | ٢٤ |

| أَيَّامِي أَسْرَعُ مِنْ عَدَّاءٍ، تَفِرُّ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ تُصِيبَ خَيْراً | ٢٥ |
26 to pass with fleet papyrus like/as eagle to dart upon food
| تَمُرُّ كَسُفُنِ الْبَرْدِيِّ، وَكَنَسْرٍ يَنْقَضُّ عَلَى صَيْدِهِ. | ٢٦ |
27 if to say I to forget complaint my to leave: release face my and be cheerful
| إِنْ قُلْتُ: أَنْسَى ضِيقَتِي، وَأُطْلِقُ أَسَارِيرِي، وَأَبْتَسِمُ وَأُبْدِي بِشْراً، | ٢٧ |
28 to fear all injury my to know for not to clear me
| فَإِنِّي أَظَلُّ أَخْشَى أَوْجَاعِي، عَالِماً أَنَّكَ لَنْ تُبْرِئَنِي. | ٢٨ |
29 I be wicked to/for what? this vanity be weary/toil
| أَنَا مُسْتَذْنَبٌ، فَلِمَاذَا أُجَاهِدُ عَبَثاً؟ | ٢٩ |
30 if to wash: wash (in/on/with water *Q(K)*) snow and be clean in/on/with lye palm my
| وَحَتَّى لَوِ اغْتَسَلْتُ بِالثَّلْجِ وَنَظَّفْتُ يَدَيَّ بِالْمُنَظِّفَاتِ، | ٣٠ |
31 then in/on/with pit: grave to dip me and to abhor me garment my
| فَإِنَّكَ تَطْرَحُنِي فِي مُسْتَنْقَعٍ نَتِنٍ حَتَّى تَكْرَهَنِي ثِيَابِي | ٣١ |
32 for not man like me to answer him to come (in): come together in/on/with justice: judgement
| لأَنَّهُ لَيْسَ إِنْسَاناً مِثْلِي فَأُجَاوِبَهُ، وَنَمْثُلَ مَعاً لِلْمُحَاكَمَةِ. | ٣٢ |
33 not there between us to rebuke to set: put hand his upon two our
| وَلَيْسَ مِنْ حَكَمٍ بَيْنَنَا يَضَعُ يَدَهُ عَلَى كِلَيْنَا. | ٣٣ |
34 to turn aside: remove from upon me tribe: staff his and terror his not to terrify me
| لِيَكُفَّ عَنِّي عَصَاهُ فَلا يُرَوِّعَنِي رُعْبُهُ، | ٣٤ |
35 to speak: speak and not to fear him for not so I with me me
| عِنْدَئِذٍ أَتَكَلَّمُ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ أَخْشَاهُ، لأَنَّ نَفْسِي بَرِيئَةٌ مِمَّا أُتَّهَمُ بِهِ. | ٣٥ |
