Job 35
1 and to answer Elihu and to say
| וַיַּ֥עַן אֱלִיה֗וּ וַיֹּאמַֽר׃ |
2 this to devise: think to/for justice to say righteousness my from God
| הֲ֭זֹאת חָשַׁ֣בְתָּ לְמִשְׁפָּ֑ט אָ֝מַ֗רְתָּ צִדְקִ֥י מֵאֵֽל׃ |
3 for to say what? be useful to/for you what? to gain from sin my
| כִּֽי־תֹ֭אמַר מַה־יִּסְכָּן־לָ֑ךְ מָֽה־אֹ֝עִ֗יל מֵֽחַטָּאתִֽי׃ |
4 I to return: return you speech and [obj] neighbor your with you
| אֲ֭נִי אֲשִֽׁיבְךָ֣ מִלִּ֑ין וְֽאֶת־רֵעֶ֥יךָ עִמָּֽךְ׃ |
5 to look heaven and to see: see and to see cloud to exult from you
| הַבֵּ֣ט שָׁמַ֣יִם וּרְאֵ֑ה וְשׁ֥וּר שְׁ֝חָקִ֗ים גָּבְה֥וּ מִמֶּֽךָּ׃ |
6 if to sin what? to work in/on/with him and to multiply transgression your what? to make: do to/for him
| אִם־חָ֭טָאתָ מַה־תִּפְעָל־בּ֑וֹ וְרַבּ֥וּ פְ֝שָׁעֶ֗יךָ מַה־תַּעֲשֶׂה־לּֽוֹ׃ |
7 if to justify what? to give: give to/for him or what? from hand your to take: recieve
| אִם־צָ֭דַקְתָּ מַה־תִּתֶּן־ל֑וֹ א֥וֹ מַה־מִיָּדְךָ֥ יִקָּֽח׃ |
8 to/for man like you wickedness your and to/for son: child man righteousness your
| לְאִישׁ־כָּמ֥וֹךָ רִשְׁעֶ֑ךָ וּלְבֶן־אָ֝דָ֗ם צִדְקָתֶֽךָ׃ |
9 from abundance oppression to cry out to cry from arm many
| מֵ֭רֹב עֲשׁוּקִ֣ים יַזְעִ֑יקוּ יְשַׁוְּע֖וּ מִזְּר֣וֹעַ רַבִּֽים׃ |
10 and not to say where? god to make me to give: give song in/on/with night
| וְֽלֹא־אָמַ֗ר אַ֭יֵּה אֱל֣וֹהַּ עֹשָׂ֑י נֹתֵ֖ן זְמִר֣וֹת בַּלָּֽיְלָה׃ |
11 to teach/learn us from animal land: soil and from bird [the] heaven be wise us
| מַ֭לְּפֵנוּ מִבַּהֲמ֣וֹת אָ֑רֶץ וּמֵע֖וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם יְחַכְּמֵֽנוּ׃ |
12 there to cry and not to answer from face: because pride bad: evil
| שָׁ֣ם יִ֭צְעֲקוּ וְלֹ֣א יַעֲנֶ֑ה מִ֝פְּנֵ֗י גְּא֣וֹן רָעִֽים׃ |
13 surely vanity: vain not to hear: hear God and Almighty not to see her
| אַךְ־שָׁ֭וְא לֹא־יִשְׁמַ֥ע ׀ אֵ֑ל וְ֝שַׁדַּ֗י לֹ֣א יְשׁוּרֶֽנָּה׃ |
14 also for to say not to see him judgment to/for face: before his and to twist: anticipate to/for him
| אַ֣ף כִּֽי־תֹ֭אמַר לֹ֣א תְשׁוּרֶ֑נּוּ דִּ֥ין לְ֝פָנָ֗יו וּתְח֥וֹלֵֽל לֽוֹ׃ |
15 and now for nothing to reckon: punish face: anger his and not to know in/on/with folly much
| וְעַתָּ֗ה כִּי־אַ֭יִן פָּקַ֣ד אַפּ֑וֹ וְלֹֽא־יָדַ֖ע בַּפַּ֣שׁ מְאֹֽד׃ |
16 and Job vanity to open lip his in/on/with without knowledge speech to multiply
| וְ֭אִיּוֹב הֶ֣בֶל יִפְצֶה־פִּ֑יהוּ בִּבְלִי־דַ֝֗עַת מִלִּ֥ין יַכְבִּֽר׃ פ |
