1 and now to laugh upon me little from me to/for day: old which to reject father their to/for to set: make with dog flock my
But now they that are younger than I hold me in derision, Whose fathers I would have disdained to set with the dogs of my flock.
2 also strength hand their to/for what? to/for me upon them to perish vigor
Of what use to me would be even the strength of their hands, To whom old age is lost?
3 in/on/with poverty and in/on/with famine solitary [the] to gnaw dryness last night devastation and desolation
By want and hunger they are famished; They gnaw the dry desert, The darkness of desolate wastes.
4 [the] to pluck mallow upon bush and root broom food their
They gather purslain among the bushes, And the root of the broom is their bread.
5 from midst to drive out: drive out to shout upon them like/as thief
They are driven from the society of men; There is a cry after them as after a thief.
6 in/on/with dreadful torrent: river to/for to dwell hole dust and rock
They dwell in gloomy valleys, In caves of the earth and in rocks.
7 between bush to bray underneath: under nettle to attach
They bray among the bushes; Under the brambles are they stretched out.
8 son: type of foolish also son: child without name to whip from [the] land: country/planet
An impious and low-born race, They are beaten out of the land.
9 and now music their to be and to be to/for them to/for speech
And now I am become their song; Yea, I am their by-word!
10 to abhor me to remove from me and from face my not to withhold spittle
They abhor me, they stand aloof from me; They forbear not to spit before my face.

Yea, they let loose the reins, and humble me; They cast off the bridle before me.
12 upon right brood to arise: rise foot my to send: depart and to build upon me way calamity their
On my right hand riseth up the brood; They thrust away my feet; They cast up against me their destructive ways.
13 to break path my to/for desire my to gain not to help to/for them
They break up my path; They hasten my fall, —They who have no helper!
14 like/as breach broad: wide to come underneath: stand devastation to roll
They come upon me as through a wide breach; Through the ruins they rush in upon me.
15 to overturn upon me terror to pursue like/as spirit: breath honor my and like/as cloud to pass salvation my
Terrors are turned against me; They pursue my prosperity like the wind, And my welfare passeth away like a cloud.
16 and now upon me to pour: pour soul my to grasp me day affliction
And now my soul poureth itself out upon me; Days of affliction have taken hold of me.
17 night bone my to dig from upon me and to gnaw me not to lie down: sleep [emph?]
By night my bones are pierced; they are torn from me, And my gnawers take no rest.
18 in/on/with many strength to search clothing my like/as lip: edge tunic my to gird me
Through the violence of my disease is my garment changed; It bindeth me about like the collar of my tunic.
19 to shoot me to/for clay and to liken like/as dust and ashes
He hath cast me into the mire, And I am become like dust and ashes.
20 to cry to(wards) you and not to answer me to stand: stand and to understand in/on/with me
I call upon Thee, but thou dost not hear me; I stand up before thee, but thou regardest me not.
21 to overturn to/for cruel to/for me in/on/with strength hand: power your to hate me
Thou art become cruel to me; With thy strong hand dost thou lie in wait for me.
22 to lift: raise me to(wards) spirit: breath to ride me and to melt me (wisdom *Q(K)*)
Thou liftest me up, and causest me to ride upon the wind; Thou meltest me away in the storm.
23 for to know death to return: return me and house: home meeting: time appointed to/for all alive
I know that thou wilt bring me to death, To the place of assembly for all the living.
24 surely not in/on/with ruin to send: reach hand if: surely yes in/on/with disaster his to/for them cry
When He stretcheth out his hand, prayer availeth nothing; When He bringeth destruction, vain is the cry for help.
25 if: surely no not to weep to/for severe day be grieved soul my to/for needy
Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? Was not my soul grieved for the poor?
26 for good to await and to come (in): come bad: evil and to wait: hope to/for light and to come (in): come darkness
But when I looked for good, then evil came; When I looked for light, then came darkness.
27 belly my to boil and not to silence: stationary to meet me day affliction
My bowels boil, and have no rest; Days of anguish have come upon me.
28 be dark to go: walk in/on/with not heat to arise: establish in/on/with assembly to cry
I am black, but not by the sun; I stand up, and utter my cries in the congregation.
29 brother: male-sibling to be to/for jackal and neighbor to/for daughter ostrich
I am become a brother to jackals, And a companion to ostriches.
30 skin my be black from upon me and bone my to scorch from drought
My skin is black, and falleth from me, And my bones burn with heat.
31 and to be to/for mourning lyre my and pipe my to/for voice to weep
My harp also is turned to mourning, And my pipe to notes of grief.
