Job 3
1 after so to open Job [obj] lip his and to lighten [obj] day his
По цьому відкрив Йов уста свої та й прокляв був свій день наро́дження.
2 and to answer Job and to say
І Йов заговорив та й сказав:
3 to perish day to beget in/on/with him and [the] night to say to conceive great man
„Хай загине той день, що я в ньому родився, і та ніч, що сказала: „Зача́всь чоловік!“
4 [the] day [the] he/she/it to be darkness not to seek him god from above and not to shine upon him light
Нехай стане цей день темното́ю, нехай Бог з висоти́ не згадає його́, і нехай не являється світло над ним!.
5 to redeem: redeem him darkness and shadow to dwell upon him cloud to terrify him darkness day
Бодай те́мрява й мо́рок його заступи́ли, бодай хмара над ним пробува́ла, бодай те́мнощі денні лякали його́!
6 [the] night [the] he/she/it to take: take him darkness not to rejoice in/on/with day year in/on/with number month not to come (in): come
Оця ніч — бодай те́мність її обгорну́ла, нехай у днях року не буде назва́на вона, хай не вві́йде вона в число місяців!
7 behold [the] night [the] he/she/it to be solitary not to come (in): come triumphing in/on/with him
Тож ця ніч нехай буде самі́тна, хай не при́йде до неї співа́ння!
8 to curse him to curse day [the] ready to rouse Leviathan
Бодай її ті проклина́ли, що день проклинають, що левіята́на готові збудити!
9 to darken star twilight his to await to/for light and nothing and not to see: see in/on/with eyelid dawn
Хай поте́мніють зо́рі пора́нку її, нехай має надію на світло — й не буде його, і хай вона не побачить тремтя́чих повік зорі ранньої, —
10 for not to shut door belly: womb my and to hide trouble from eye my
бо вона не замкнула двере́й нутра ма́тернього, і не сховала стражда́ння з очей моїх!
11 to/for what? not from womb to die from belly: womb to come out: produce and to die
Чому́ я не згинув в утро́бі? Як вийшов, із нутра́ то чому́ я не вмер?
12 why? to meet me knee and what? breast for to suckle
Чого прийняли́ ті коліна мене? І нащо ті пе́рса, які я був ссав?
13 for now to lie down: lay down and to quiet to sleep then to rest to/for me
Бо тепер я лежав би спокійно, я спав би, та був би мені відпочи́нок
14 with king and to advise land: country/planet [the] to build desolation to/for them
з царями та з зе́мними ра́дниками, що гробни́ці будують собі,
15 or with ruler gold to/for them [the] to fill house: home their silver: money
або із князя́ми, що золото мали, що доми́ свої срі́блом напо́внювали!
16 or like/as miscarriage to hide not to be like/as infant not to see: see light
Або чом я не ставсь недоно́ском прихо́ваним, немов ті немовля́та, що світла не бачили?
17 there wicked to cease turmoil and there to rest weary strength
Там же безбожники перестають докуча́ти, і спочивають там змученоси́лі,
18 unitedness prisoner to rest not to hear: hear voice to oppress
разом з тим мають спо́кій ув'я́знені, — вони не почують вже крику гноби́теля!
19 small and great: large there he/she/it and servant/slave free from lord his
Мали́й та великий — там рівні, а раб вільний від пана свого́...
20 to/for what? to give: give to/for labour(er) light and life to/for bitter soul
І на́що Він стру́дженому дає світло, і життя — гіркоду́хим,
21 [the] to wait to/for death and nothing he and to search him from treasure
що вичі́кують смерти — й немає її, що її відкопа́ли б, як ска́рби захо́вані,
22 [the] glad to(wards) rejoicing to rejoice for to find grave
тим, що радісно ті́шилися б, весели́лись, коли б знайшли гро́ба,
23 to/for great man which way: journey his to hide and to fence god about/through/for him
мужчи́ні, якому доро́га закрита, що Бог тінню закрив перед ним?
24 for to/for face: before food: bread my sighing my to come (in): come and to pour like/as water roaring my
Бо зідха́ння моє випере́джує хліб мій, а зо́йки мої полились, як вода,
25 for dread to dread and to come me and which to fear to come (in): come to/for me
бо страх, що його я жахався, — до мене прибув, і чого я боявся — прийшло те мені.
26 not to prosper and not to quiet and not to rest and to come (in): come turmoil
Не знав я споко́ю й не був втихоми́рений, і я не відпочи́в, — та нещастя прийшло!“
