౧ఆ తరువాత యోబు మాట్లాడడం మొదలుపెట్టాడు. తాను పుట్టిన దినాన్ని శపించాడు.
2 and to answer Job and to say
౨యోబు ఇలా అన్నాడు.
3 to perish day to beget in/on/with him and [the] night to say to conceive great man
౩నేను పుట్టిన రోజు లేకుండా ఉంటే బాగుండేది. “మగ పిల్లవాడు పుట్టాడు” అని చెప్పే రాత్రి సమయం లేకపోయినట్టయితే బాగుండేది. నా తల్లి గర్భాన్ని ఆ రోజు మూసి ఉంచితే బాగుండేది. ఆ రోజు నా కళ్ళకు బాధను మరుగు చేయలేకపోయింది.
4 [the] day [the] he/she/it to be darkness not to seek him god from above and not to shine upon him light
౪ఆ రోజు చీకటిమయం కావాలి. దాని మీద వెలుగు ప్రకాశించకూడదు. పైన ఉన్న దేవుడు ఆ రోజును లెక్కించకూడదు.
5 to redeem: redeem him darkness and shadow to dwell upon him cloud to terrify him darkness day
౫చీకటి, గాఢాంధకారం మళ్ళీ దాన్ని తమ దగ్గరికి తీసుకోవాలి. దాన్ని మేఘాలు ఆవరించాలి. పగటివేళ చీకటి కమ్మినట్టు దానికి భయాందోళన కలగాలి.
6 [the] night [the] he/she/it to take: take him darkness not to rejoice in/on/with day year in/on/with number month not to come (in): come
౬కటిక చీకటి ఆ రాత్రిని ఒడిసి పట్టాలి. సంవత్సరం రోజుల్లో నేనూ ఒకదాన్నని అది చెప్పుకోకుండా ఉండాలి. ఏ నెలలోనూ అది భాగం కాకూడాదు.
7 behold [the] night [the] he/she/it to be solitary not to come (in): come triumphing in/on/with him
౭ఆ రాత్రి ఎవ్వరూ పుట్టకపోతే బాగుండేది. అప్పుడు ఎవ్వరూ హర్ష ధ్వానాలు చెయ్యకపోతే బాగుండేది.
8 to curse him to curse day [the] ready to rouse Leviathan
౮శపించేవాళ్ళు ఆ రోజును శపించాలి. సముద్ర రాక్షసిని రెచ్చగొట్టే వాళ్ళు దాన్ని శపించాలి.
9 to darken star twilight his to await to/for light and nothing and not to see: see in/on/with eyelid dawn
౯ఆ దినాన సంధ్యవేళలో ప్రకాశించే నక్షత్రాలకు చీకటి కమ్మాలి. వెలుగు కోసం అది ఎదురు చూసినప్పుడు వెలుగు కనబడకూడదు.
10 for not to shut door belly: womb my and to hide trouble from eye my
౧౦అది ఉదయ సూర్య కిరణాలు చూడకూడదు. పుట్టిన వెంటనే నేనెందుకు చనిపోలేదు?
11 to/for what? not from womb to die from belly: womb to come out: produce and to die
౧౧తల్లి గర్భం నుండి బయటపడగానే నా ప్రాణం ఎందుకు పోలేదు?
12 why? to meet me knee and what? breast for to suckle
౧౨నన్నెందుకు మోకాళ్ల మీద పడుకోబెట్టుకున్నారు? నేనెందుకు తల్లి పాలు తాగాను?
13 for now to lie down: lay down and to quiet to sleep then to rest to/for me
౧౩లేకపోతే ఇప్పుడు నేను పడుకుని ప్రశాంతంగా ఉండేవాణ్ణి. నేను చనిపోయి విశ్రాంతిగా ఉండేవాణ్ణి.
14 with king and to advise land: country/planet [the] to build desolation to/for them
౧౪శిథిలమైపోయిన భవనాలు తిరిగి కట్టించుకునే భూరాజుల్లాగా, మంత్రుల్లాగా నేను కూడా చనిపోయి ప్రశాంతంగా ఉండేవాణ్ణి.
15 or with ruler gold to/for them [the] to fill house: home their silver: money
౧౫బంగారం సంపాదించుకుని, తమ ఇంటినిండా వెండిని నింపుకున్న అధికారుల్లాగా నేను కన్నుమూసి ఉండేవాణ్ణి.
16 or like/as miscarriage to hide not to be like/as infant not to see: see light
౧౬భూమిలో పాతిపెట్టబడిన పిండంలాగా వెలుగు చూడని పసికందులాగా నాకిప్పుడు ఉనికి ఉండేది కాదు.
17 there wicked to cease turmoil and there to rest weary strength
౧౭అక్కడ దుర్మార్గులు ఇక బాధపెట్టరు, బలహీనులై అలసిన వారు విశ్రాంతి పొందుతారు.
18 unitedness prisoner to rest not to hear: hear voice to oppress
౧౮అక్కడ బంధితులైన వారు కలసి విశ్రమిస్తారు. వాళ్ళ చేత పనులు చేయించేవాళ్ళ ఆజ్ఞలు వాళ్లకు వినిపించవు.
19 small and great: large there he/she/it and servant/slave free from lord his
౧౯పేదవారు, గొప్పవారు అంతా అక్కడ ఉన్నారు. దాసులు తమ యజమానుల చెర నుండి తప్పించుకుని స్వతంత్రులయ్యారు.
20 to/for what? to give: give to/for labour(er) light and life to/for bitter soul
౨౦దుర్దశలో ఉన్నవారికి వెలుగు ఎందుకు? దుఃఖాక్రాంతులైన వారికి జీవం ఎందుకు?
21 [the] to wait to/for death and nothing he and to search him from treasure
౨౧వారు మరణం కోరుకుంటారు. దాచిపెట్టిన నిధి కోసం వాళ్ళు లోతుగా తవ్వుతున్నారు గాని అది వారికి దొరకడం లేదు.
22 [the] glad to(wards) rejoicing to rejoice for to find grave
౨౨వాళ్ళు సమాధికి చేరినప్పుడు వారు ఆనందిస్తారు, ఎంతో సంబరపడతారు.
23 to/for great man which way: journey his to hide and to fence god about/through/for him
౨౩మార్గం కనుగొనలేని వాడికి, దేవుడు చుట్టూ కంచె వేసిన వాడికి జీవం ఎందుకు?
24 for to/for face: before food: bread my sighing my to come (in): come and to pour like/as water roaring my
౨౪భోజనం చేయడానికి బదులు నాకు నిట్టూర్పులు కలుగుతున్నాయి. నేను చేసే ఆక్రందనలు నీళ్లలాగా పారుతున్నాయి.
25 for dread to dread and to come me and which to fear to come (in): come to/for me
౨౫ఏమి జరుగుతుందని నేను భయపడ్డానో అదే నాకు జరిగింది. నేను భయపడినదే నా మీదికి వచ్చింది.
26 not to prosper and not to quiet and not to rest and to come (in): come turmoil
౨౬నాకు శాంతి లేదు, సుఖం లేదు, విశ్రాంతి లేదు. వీటికి బదులు కష్టాలే వచ్చాయి.
