Jeremiah 1

| این کتاب حاوی سخنان ارمیا پسر حلقیا است. ارمیا یکی از کاهنان شهر عناتوت (واقع در سرزمین بنیامین) بود. |

| نخستین پیام خداوند در سال سیزدهم سلطنت یوشیا (پسر آمون)، پادشاه یهودا، بر ارمیا نازل شد. |
3 and to be in/on/with day Jehoiakim son: child Josiah king Judah till to finish eleven ten year to/for Zedekiah son: child Josiah king Judah till to reveal: remove Jerusalem in/on/with month [the] fifth
| پیامهای دیگری نیز در دورهٔ سلطنت یهویاقیم (پسر یوشیا، پادشاه یهودا) تا یازدهمین سال پادشاهی صدقیا (پسر یوشیا، پادشاه یهودا)، بر او نازل شد. در ماه پنجم همین سال بود که اورشلیم به تصرف درآمد و اهالی شهر اسیر و تبعید شدند. |

| خداوند به من فرمود: «پیش از آنکه در رحم مادرت شکل بگیری تو را انتخاب کردم. پیش از اینکه چشم به جهان بگشایی، تو را برگزیدم و تعیین کردم تا در میان مردم جهان پیام‌آور من باشی.» |

| اما من گفتم: «خداوندا، این کار از من ساخته نیست! من جوانی بی‌تجربه هستم!» |
7 and to say LORD to(wards) me not to say youth I for upon all which to send: depart you to go: went and [obj] all which to command you to speak: speak
| خداوند فرمود: «چنین مگو! چون به هر جایی که تو را بفرستم، خواهی رفت و هر چه به تو بگویم، خواهی گفت. |
8 not to fear from face of their for with you I to/for to rescue you utterance LORD
| از مردم نترس، زیرا من با تو هستم و از تو محافظت می‌کنم.» |
9 and to send: reach LORD [obj] hand his and to touch upon lip my and to say LORD to(wards) me behold to give: put word my in/on/with lip your
| آنگاه دست بر لبهایم گذاشت و گفت: «اینک کلام خود را در دهانت گذاشتم! |
10 to see: behold! to reckon: overseer you [the] day: today [the] this upon [the] nation and upon [the] kingdom to/for to uproot and to/for to tear and to/for to perish and to/for to overthrow to/for to build and to/for to plant
| از امروز رسالت تو آغاز می‌شود! تو باید به قومها و حکومتها هشدار دهی و بگویی که من برخی از ایشان را ریشه‌کن کرده، از بین خواهم برد و برخی دیگر را پا برجا نگاه داشته، تقویت خواهم کرد.» |
11 and to be word LORD to(wards) me to/for to say what? you(m. s.) to see: see Jeremiah and to say rod almond I to see: see
| سپس فرمود: «ارمیا، نگاه کن! چه می‌بینی؟» گفتم: «شاخه‌ای از درخت بادام!» |
12 and to say LORD to(wards) me be good to/for to see: see for to watch I upon word my to/for to make: do him
| فرمود: «چنین است! و این بدان معناست که مراقب خواهم بود تا هر آنچه گفته‌ام، انجام شود.» |
13 and to be word LORD to(wards) me second to/for to say what? you(m. s.) to see: see and to say pot to breathe I to see: see and face: before his from face: before north [to]
| بار دیگر خداوند از من پرسید: «حالا چه می‌بینی؟» جواب دادم: «یک دیگ آب جوش که از سوی شمال بر این سرزمین فرو می‌ریزد.» |
14 and to say LORD to(wards) me from north to open [the] distress: harm upon all to dwell [the] land: country/planet
| فرمود: «آری، بلایی از سوی شمال بر تمام اهالی این سرزمین نازل خواهد شد. |
15 for look! I to call: call to to/for all family kingdom north [to] utterance LORD and to come (in): come and to give: put man: anyone throne his entrance gate Jerusalem and upon all wall her around and upon all city Judah
| من سپاهیان مملکتهای شمالی را فرا خواهم خواند تا به اورشلیم آمده تخت فرمانروایی خود را کنار دروازه‌های شهر بر پا دارند و همهٔ حصارهای آن و سایر شهرهای یهودا را تسخیر کنند. |
16 and to speak: promise justice: judgement my with them upon all distress: evil their which to leave: forsake me and to offer: offer to/for God another and to bow to/for deed: work hand their
| این است مجازات قوم من به سبب شرارتهایشان! آنها مرا ترک گفته، برای خدایان دیگر بخور می‌سوزانند و در برابر بتهایی که خود ساخته‌اند، سجده می‌کنند. |
17 and you(m. s.) to gird loin your and to arise: rise and to speak: speak to(wards) them [obj] all which I to command you not to to be dismayed from face: before their lest to to be dismayed you to/for face: before their
| «حال، برخیز و آماده شو و آنچه که من می‌گویم به ایشان بگو. از آنها مترس و گرنه کاری می‌کنم که در برابر آنها آشفته و هراسان شوی! |
18 and I behold to give: make you [the] day: today to/for city fortification and to/for pillar iron and to/for wall bronze upon all [the] land: country/planet to/for king Judah to/for ruler her to/for priest her and to/for people [the] land: country/planet
| امروز تو را در برابر آنها همچون شهری حصاردار و ستونی آهنین و دیواری مفرغین، مقاوم می‌سازم تا در برابر تمام افراد این سرزمین بایستی، در برابر پادشاهان یهودا، بزرگان، کاهنان و همهٔ مردم. |
19 and to fight to(wards) you and not be able to/for you for with you I utterance LORD to/for to rescue you
| آنها با تو به ستیز برخواهند خاست، اما کاری از پیش نخواهند برد، چون من، خداوند، با تو هستم و تو را رهایی خواهم داد.» |
