Jeremiah 1

Ord av Jeremias, Hilkias' sønn, en av prestene i Anatot i Benjamins land.

Herrens ord kom til ham i de dager da Josias, Amons sønn, var konge i Juda, i det trettende år av hans regjering,
3 and to be in/on/with day Jehoiakim son: child Josiah king Judah till to finish eleven ten year to/for Zedekiah son: child Josiah king Judah till to reveal: remove Jerusalem in/on/with month [the] fifth
og siden i de dager da Jojakim, Josias' sønn, var konge i Juda, inntil enden av Judas konge Sedekias', Josias' sønns ellevte år, da Jerusalems innbyggere blev bortført i den femte måned.

Herrens ord kom til mig, og det lød så:

Før jeg dannet dig i mors liv, kjente jeg dig, og før du kom ut av mors skjød, helliget jeg dig; jeg satte dig til en profet for folkene.

Men jeg sa: Akk, Herre, Herre! Se, jeg forstår ikke å tale; for jeg er ung.

Da sa Herren til mig: Si ikke: Jeg er ung! Men til alle dem jeg sender dig til, skal du gå, og alt det jeg byder dig, skal du tale.
8 not to fear from face of their for with you I to/for to rescue you utterance LORD
Frykt ikke for dem, for jeg er med dig og vil redde dig, sier Herren.
9 and to send: reach LORD [obj] hand his and to touch upon lip my and to say LORD to(wards) me behold to give: put word my in/on/with lip your
Og Herren rakte ut sin hånd og rørte ved min munn, og Herren sa til mig: Se, jeg legger mine ord i din munn.
10 to see: behold! to reckon: overseer you [the] day: today [the] this upon [the] nation and upon [the] kingdom to/for to uproot and to/for to tear and to/for to perish and to/for to overthrow to/for to build and to/for to plant
Se, jeg setter dig idag over folkene og over rikene til å rykke op og rive ned, til å ødelegge og bryte ned, til å bygge og til å plante.

Og Herrens ord kom til mig, og det lød så: Hvad ser du, Jeremias? Jeg svarte: Jeg ser en stav av det våkne tre.

Og Herrens ord kom til mig annen gang: Hvad ser du? Jeg svarte: Jeg ser en kokende gryte, og den er vendt hit fra nord.
14 and to say LORD to(wards) me from north to open [the] distress: harm upon all to dwell [the] land: country/planet
Og Herren sa til mig: Fra nord skal ulykken slippes løs over alle landets innbyggere.
15 for look! I to call: call to to/for all family kingdom north [to] utterance LORD and to come (in): come and to give: put man: anyone throne his entrance gate Jerusalem and upon all wall her around and upon all city Judah
For se, jeg kaller på alle folkestammer i rikene mot nord, sier Herren, og de skal komme og sette hver sin stol ved inngangen til Jerusalems porter og mot alle dets murer rundt omkring og mot alle Judas byer.

18 and I behold to give: make you [the] day: today to/for city fortification and to/for pillar iron and to/for wall bronze upon all [the] land: country/planet to/for king Judah to/for ruler her to/for priest her and to/for people [the] land: country/planet
Og se, jeg gjør dig idag til en fast borg og til en jernstøtte og til en kobbermur mot det hele land, mot Judas konger, mot dets høvdinger, mot dets prester og mot folket i landet.
19 and to fight to(wards) you and not be able to/for you for with you I utterance LORD to/for to rescue you
Og de skal stride mot dig, men ikke få overhånd over dig; for jeg er med dig, sier Herren, og vil redde dig.
