Jeremiah 5

Durchstreift die Gassen Jerusalems, seht euch doch um und bringt in Erfahrung und forscht auf ihren Straßen, ob ihr jemanden findet, ob da einer ist, der Recht übet, der sich um Treue müht, daß ich ihr verzeihe.
2 and if alive LORD to say to/for so to/for deception to swear
Indes wenn sie auch “So wahr Jahwe lebt!” sagen, so schwören sie darum doch falsch.
3 LORD eye your not to/for faithfulness to smite [obj] them and not to twist: writh in pain to end: destroy them to refuse to take: take discipline to strengthen: strengthen face their from crag to refuse to/for to return: repent
Aber sind deine Augen, Jahwe, - sind sie nicht vielmehr auf Treue gerichtet? Du hast die geschlagen, aber sie empfanden keinen Schmerz; du hast die aufgerieben, aber Zucht wollten sie nicht annehmen. Sie machten ihr Angesicht härter als Felsgestein, sie wollten sich nicht bekehren.

Ich zwar dachte: Nur geringe Leute sind's; sie gebärden sich thöricht, weil sie den Weg Jahwes, die Gerechtsame ihres Gottes nicht kennen.

Ich will doch zu den Großen gehen und mit ihnen reden; denn sie kennen den Weg Jahwes, die Gerechtsame ihres Gottes! Aber gerade sie hatten allesamt das Joch zerbrochen, die Bande zerrissen.
6 upon so to smite them lion from wood wolf plain to ruin them leopard to watch upon city their all [the] to come out: come from them to tear for to multiply transgression their be vast (faithlessness their *Q(k)*)
Darum zermalmt sie der Löwe, der aus dem Walde hervorbricht, überwältigt sie der Wolf, der in der Steppe daheim ist, lauert der Pardel an ihren Städten, so daß, wer irgend aus ihnen herauskommt, zerrissen wird; denn vielfältig sind ihre Übertretungen, zahlreich ihre Treulosigkeiten.

Warum doch soll ich dir verzeihen? Deine Kinder haben mich verlassen und bei Ungöttern geschworen, und sättigte ich sie, so brachen sie doch den Ehebund und drängten sich in Scharen zum Hurenhause.

Wie feiste Rosse schweiften sie umher, geil wiehern sie ein jeder nach des andern Weibe.

Sollte ich dergleichen Menschen nicht strafen? ist der Spruch Jahwes, oder mich an einem so gearteten Volke nicht rächen?
10 to ascend: rise in/on/with vine-row her and to ruin and consumption not to make to turn aside: turn aside tendril her for not to/for LORD they(masc.)
Steigt hinauf auf ihre Mauern und zerstört, aber macht ihnen nicht den Garaus; entfernt ihre Ranken, denn Jahwe gehören sie nicht an!
11 for to act treacherously to act treacherously in/on/with me house: household Israel and house: household Judah utterance LORD
Denn gar treulos hat an mir das Haus Israel und das Haus Juda gehandelt - ist der Spruch Jahwes.
12 to deceive in/on/with LORD and to say not he/she/it and not to come (in): come upon us distress: harm and sword and famine not to see: see
Verleugnet haben sie Jahwe und gesagt: Nicht der ist's! und nicht wird Unheil über uns kommen: weder Schwert noch Hunger werden wir erleben;
13 and [the] prophet to be to/for spirit: breath and [the] statement nothing in/on/with them thus to make: do to/for them
die Propheten aber werden sich als Wind erweisen, denn das Gotteswort ist nicht in ihnen: also ergehe es ihnen selbst!
14 to/for so thus to say LORD God Hosts because to speak: speak you [obj] [the] word [the] this look! I to give: make word my in/on/with lip your to/for fire and [the] people [the] this tree: wood and to eat them
Darum spricht Jahwe, der Gott der Heerscharen, also: Weil ihr solche Rede geführt habt, so will ich meine Worte in deinem Munde zu Feuer machen und dieses Volk zu Brennholz, daß es sie verzehre!
15 look! I to come (in): bring upon you nation from distance house: household Israel utterance LORD nation strong he/she/it nation from forever: antiquity he/she/it nation not to know tongue: language his and not to hear: understand what? to speak: speak
Fürwahr, ich lasse über euch ein Volk von fernher kommen, ihr vom Hause Israel - ist der Spruch Jahwes -, ein unverwüstliches Volk ist es, ein uraltes Volk ist es, ein Volk, dessen Sprache du nicht kennst und von dem du nicht verstehst, was es redet.
16 quiver his like/as grave to open all their mighty man
Sein Köcher gleicht einem geöffneten Grab und aus lauter Helden besteht es.
17 and to eat harvest your and food your to eat son: child your and daughter your to eat flock your and cattle your to eat vine your and fig your to beat city fortification your which you(m. s.) to trust in/on/with them in/on/with sword
Es wird deine Ernte und dein Brotkorn verzehren, deine Söhne und deine Töchter werden sie verzehren, deine Schafe und deine Rinder wird es verzehren, deinen Weinstock und deinen Feigenbaum wird es verzehren: deine festen Städte, auf die du dich verlässest, wird es mit dem Schwerte zertrümmern.
18 and also in/on/with day [the] they(masc.) utterance LORD not to make with you consumption
Gleichwohl auch in diesen Tagen - ist der Spruch Jahwes - will ich es mit euch nicht garaus machen!
19 and to be for to say underneath: because of what? to make: do LORD God our to/for us [obj] all these and to say to(wards) them like/as as which to leave: forsake [obj] me and to serve: minister God foreign in/on/with land: country/planet your so to serve: minister be a stranger in/on/with land: country/planet not to/for you
Wenn ihr aber alsdann sprecht: Wofür hat Jahwe, unser Gott, uns alles das angethan? so sollst du zu ihnen sagen: So wie ihr mich verlassen und fremden Göttern in eurem Lande gedient habt, also sollt ihr der Fremden Sklaven sein in einem Lande, das euch nicht gehört.

Verkündet das in dem Hause Jakobs und ruft es aus in Juda:
21 to hear: hear please this people fool and nothing heart eye to/for them and not to see: see ear to/for them and not to hear: hear
Hört doch das, ihr thörichtes und unverständiges Volk, die Augen haben, aber nicht sehen, die Ohren haben, aber nicht hören!
22 [obj] me not to fear: revere utterance LORD if: surely no from face: before my not to twist: tremble which to set: put sand border: boundary to/for sea statute: allotment forever: enduring and not to pass him and to shake and not be able and to roar heap: wave his and not to pass him
Mich wollt ihr nicht fürchten - ist der Spruch Jahwes - oder vor mir wollt ihr nicht zittern? vor mir, der ich dem Meere die Düne als Grenze gesetzt, als immerwährende Schranke, die es nicht überschreiten darf. Und ob auch seine Wogen dagegen andrängen, sind sie doch machtlos, und ob sie auch dagegen toben, vermögen sie sie doch nicht zu überschreiten.
23 and to/for people [the] this to be heart to rebel and to rebel to turn aside: turn aside and to go: went
Dieses Volk aber hat einen störrigen und aufrührerischen Sinn: sie haben sich abgewandt und sind ihres Wegs gegangen,
24 and not to say in/on/with heart their to fear: revere please [obj] LORD God our [the] to give: give rain (autumn rain *Q(K)*) and spring rain in/on/with time his week statute harvest to keep: guard to/for us
dachten aber nicht in ihrem Sinne: Laßt uns doch Jahwe, unsern Gott, fürchten, der den Regen, den Frühregen wie den Spätregen, zur rechten Zeit giebt, der die Wochen, die festen Ordnungen der Erntezeit zu unserem Besten einhält!
25 iniquity: crime your to stretch these and sin your to withhold [the] good from you
Eure Verschuldungen haben sie aus dem Geleise gebracht, und eure Sünden haben euch den Segen entzogen!
26 for to find in/on/with people my wicked to see like/as to subside fowler to stand destruction human to capture
Denn Frevler finden sich in meinem Volke: man legt sich auf die Lauer, so wie sich Vogelsteller ducken; sie stellen Fallen auf, um Menschen zu fangen.
27 like/as basket full bird so house: home their full deceit upon so to magnify and to enrich
Wie ein Korb angefüllt mit Vögeln, also sind ihre Häuser mit betrügerischem Erwerb angefüllt: auf solche Art sind sie groß und reich geworden;
28 to grow fat to gleam also to pass: trespass word: deed bad: evil judgment not to judge judgment orphan and to prosper and justice needy not to judge
feist sind sie geworden, glänzend vom Fett. Dazu fließen sie über von unheilvollen Reden; für die Sache der Waisen, für die treten sie nicht ein, sie zum Siege zu bringen, und den Armen verhelfen sie nicht zum Rechte.

Sollte ich dergleichen Menschen nicht strafen - ist der Spruch Jahwes - oder mich an einem so gearteten Volke nicht rächen?
30 horror: appalled and horror to be in/on/with land: country/planet
Entsetzliches und Schaudererregendes hat sich im Lande zugetragen:
31 [the] prophet to prophesy in/on/with deception and [the] priest to scrape upon hand: themselves their and people my to love: lover so and what? to make: do to/for end her
die Propheten - sie weissagen trügerisch, die Priester aber - sie schalten Hand in Hand mit ihnen, und mein Volk - die lieben's also! Was aber werdet ihr thun, wenn das Ende davon kommt?
