1 to/for Moab thus to say LORD Hosts God Israel woe! to(wards) Nebo for to ruin be ashamed to capture Kiriathaim be ashamed [the] Misgab and to to be dismayed
| למואב כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל הוי אל נבו כי שדדה הבישה נלכדה קריתים הבישה המשגב וחתה׃ |
2 nothing still praise Moab in/on/with Heshbon to devise: devise upon her distress: harm to go: follow and to cut: eliminate her from nation also Madmen to silence: silent after you to go: follow sword
| אין עוד תהלת מואב בחשבון חשבו עליה רעה לכו ונכריתנה מגוי גם מדמן תדמי אחריך תלך חרב׃ |
3 voice cry from Horonaim violence and breaking great: large
| קול צעקה מחרונים שד ושבר גדול׃ |

| נשברה מואב השמיעו זעקה צעוריה׃ |

| ויבא שדד אל כל עיר ועיר לא תמלט ואבד העמק ונשמד המישר אשר אמר יהוה׃ |

| תנו ציץ למואב כי נצא תצא ועריה לשמה תהיינה מאין יושב בהן׃ |

| ארור עשה מלאכת יהוה רמיה וארור מנע חרבו מדם׃ |

| שאנן מואב מנעוריו ושקט הוא אל שמריו ולא הורק מכלי אל כלי ובגולה לא הלך על כן עמד טעמו בו וריחו לא נמר׃ |

| לכן הנה ימים באים נאם יהוה ושלחתי לו צעים וצעהו וכליו יריקו ונבליהם ינפצו׃ |

| ובש מואב מכמוש כאשר בשו בית ישראל מבית אל מבטחם׃ |

| איך תאמרו גבורים אנחנו ואנשי חיל למלחמה׃ |

| שדד מואב ועריה עלה ומבחר בחוריו ירדו לטבח נאם המלך יהוה צבאות שמו׃ |

| קרוב איד מואב לבוא ורעתו מהרה מאד׃ |
17 to wander to/for him all around him and all to know name his to say how? to break tribe: rod strength rod beauty
| נדו לו כל סביביו וכל ידעי שמו אמרו איכה נשבר מטה עז מקל תפארה׃ |
18 to go down from glory (and to dwell *Q(K)*) in/on/with thirst to dwell daughter Dibon for to ruin Moab to ascend: rise in/on/with you to ruin fortification your
| רדי מכבוד ישבי בצמא ישבת בת דיבון כי שדד מואב עלה בך שחת מבצריך׃ |

| אל דרך עמדי וצפי יושבת ערוער שאלי נס ונמלטה אמרי מה נהיתה׃ |

| הביש מואב כי חתה הילילי וזעקי הגידו בארנון כי שדד מואב׃ |

| ומשפט בא אל ארץ המישר אל חלון ואל יהצה ועל מופעת׃ |

| ועל דיבון ועל נבו ועל בית דבלתים׃ |
23 and upon Kiriathaim and upon Beth-gamul Beth-gamul and upon Beth-meon Beth-meon
| ועל קריתים ועל בית גמול ועל בית מעון׃ |
24 and upon Kerioth and upon Bozrah and upon all city land: country/planet Moab [the] distant and [the] near
| ועל קריות ועל בצרה ועל כל ערי ארץ מואב הרחקות והקרבות׃ |
25 to cut down/off horn Moab and arm his to break utterance LORD
| נגדעה קרן מואב וזרעו נשברה נאם יהוה׃ |
26 be drunk him for upon LORD to magnify and to slap Moab in/on/with vomit his and to be to/for laughter also he/she/it
| השכירהו כי על יהוה הגדיל וספק מואב בקיאו והיה לשחק גם הוא׃ |

| ואם לוא השחק היה לך ישראל אם בגנבים נמצאה כי מדי דבריך בו תתנודד׃ |

| עזבו ערים ושכנו בסלע ישבי מואב והיו כיונה תקנן בעברי פי פחת׃ |

| שמענו גאון מואב גאה מאד גבהו וגאונו וגאותו ורם לבו׃ |
30 I to know utterance LORD fury his and not right bluster his not right to make: do
| אני ידעתי נאם יהוה עברתו ולא כן בדיו לא כן עשו׃ |
31 upon so upon Moab to wail and to/for Moab all his to cry out to(wards) human Kir-hareseth Kir-hareseth to mutter
| על כן על מואב איליל ולמואב כלה אזעק אל אנשי קיר חרש יהגה׃ |
32 from weeping Jazer to weep to/for you [the] vine Sibmah tendril your to pass sea till sea (Sea of) Jazer to touch upon summer your and upon vintage your to ruin to fall: fall
| מבכי יעזר אבכה לך הגפן שבמה נטישתיך עברו ים עד ים יעזר נגעו על קיצך ועל בצירך שדד נפל׃ |
33 and to gather joy and rejoicing from plantation and from land: country/planet Moab and wine from wine to cease not to tread shout shout not shout
| ונאספה שמחה וגיל מכרמל ומארץ מואב ויין מיקבים השבתי לא ידרך הידד הידד לא הידד׃ |
34 from outcry Heshbon till Elealeh till Jahaz to give: cry out voice their from Zoar till Horonaim Eglath-shelishiyah third for also water Nimrim to/for devastation to be
| מזעקת חשבון עד אלעלה עד יהץ נתנו קולם מצער עד חרנים עגלת שלשיה כי גם מי נמרים למשמות יהיו׃ |
35 and to cease to/for Moab utterance LORD to ascend: offer up high place and to offer: offer to/for God his
| והשבתי למואב נאם יהוה מעלה במה ומקטיר לאלהיו׃ |
36 upon so heart my to/for Moab like/as flute to roar and heart my to(wards) human Kir-hareseth Kir-hareseth like/as flute to roar upon so abundance to make: offer to perish
| על כן לבי למואב כחללים יהמה ולבי אל אנשי קיר חרש כחלילים יהמה על כן יתרת עשה אבדו׃ |
37 for all head bald spot and all beard to dimish upon all hand furrow and upon loin sackcloth
| כי כל ראש קרחה וכל זקן גרעה על כל ידים גדדת ועל מתנים שק׃ |
38 upon all roof Moab and in/on/with street/plaza her all his mourning for to break [obj] Moab like/as article/utensil nothing pleasure in/on/with him utterance LORD
| על כל גגות מואב וברחבתיה כלה מספד כי שברתי את מואב ככלי אין חפץ בו נאם יהוה׃ |
39 how? to to be dismayed to wail how? to turn neck Moab be ashamed and to be Moab to/for laughter and to/for terror to/for all around him
| איך חתה הילילו איך הפנה ערף מואב בוש והיה מואב לשחק ולמחתה לכל סביביו׃ |
40 for thus to say LORD behold like/as eagle to fly and to spread wing his to(wards) Moab
| כי כה אמר יהוה הנה כנשר ידאה ופרש כנפיו אל מואב׃ |
41 to capture [the] Kerioth and [the] stronghold to capture and to be heart mighty man Moab in/on/with day [the] he/she/it like/as heart woman to distress
| נלכדה הקריות והמצדות נתפשה והיה לב גבורי מואב ביום ההוא כלב אשה מצרה׃ |
42 and to destroy Moab from people for upon LORD to magnify
| ונשמד מואב מעם כי על יהוה הגדיל׃ |
43 dread and pit and snare upon you to dwell Moab utterance LORD
| פחד ופחת ופח עליך יושב מואב נאם יהוה׃ |
44 ([the] to flee *Q(K)*) from face: before [the] dread to fall: fall to(wards) [the] pit and [the] to ascend: rise from [the] pit to capture in/on/with snare for to come (in): bring to(wards) her to(wards) Moab year punishment their utterance LORD
| הניס מפני הפחד יפל אל הפחת והעלה מן הפחת ילכד בפח כי אביא אליה אל מואב שנת פקדתם נאם יהוה׃ |
45 in/on/with shadow Heshbon to stand: stand from strength to flee for fire to come out: issue from Heshbon and flame from between Sihon and to eat side Moab and crown son: child roar
| בצל חשבון עמדו מכח נסים כי אש יצא מחשבון ולהבה מבין סיחון ותאכל פאת מואב וקדקד בני שאון׃ |
46 woe! to/for you Moab to perish people Chemosh for to take: take son: child your in/on/with captivity and daughter your in/on/with captive
| אוי לך מואב אבד עם כמוש כי לקחו בניך בשבי ובנתיך בשביה׃ |
47 and to return: rescue captivity Moab in/on/with end [the] day utterance LORD till here/thus justice: judgement Moab
| ושבתי שבות מואב באחרית הימים נאם יהוה עד הנה משפט מואב׃ |
