Jeremiah 41
1 and to be in/on/with month [the] seventh to come (in): come Ishmael son: child Nethaniah son: child Elishama from seed: children [the] kingship and chief [the] king and ten human with him to(wards) Gedaliah son: child Ahikam [the] Mizpah [to] and to eat there food: bread together in/on/with Mizpah
| ויהי בחדש השביעי בא ישמעאל בן נתניה בן אלישמע מזרע המלוכה ורבי המלך ועשרה אנשים אתו אל גדליהו בן אחיקם המצפתה ויאכלו שם לחם יחדו במצפה׃ |
2 and to arise: rise Ishmael son: child Nethaniah and ten [the] human which to be with him and to smite [obj] Gedaliah son: child Ahikam son: child Shaphan in/on/with sword and to die [obj] him which to reckon: overseer king Babylon in/on/with land: country/planet
| ויקם ישמעאל בן נתניה ועשרת האנשים אשר היו אתו ויכו את גדליהו בן אחיקם בן שפן בחרב וימת אתו אשר הפקיד מלך בבל בארץ׃ |
3 and [obj] all [the] Jew which to be with him with Gedaliah in/on/with Mizpah and [obj] [the] Chaldea which to find there [obj] human [the] battle to smite Ishmael
| ואת כל היהודים אשר היו אתו את גדליהו במצפה ואת הכשדים אשר נמצאו שם את אנשי המלחמה הכה ישמעאל׃ |
4 and to be in/on/with day [the] second to/for to die [obj] Gedaliah and man: anyone not to know
| ויהי ביום השני להמית את גדליהו ואיש לא ידע׃ |
5 and to come (in): come human from Shechem from Shiloh and from Samaria eighty man to shave beard and to tear garment and to cut and offering and frankincense in/on/with hand: themselves their to/for to come (in): bring house: temple LORD
| ויבאו אנשים משכם משלו ומשמרון שמנים איש מגלחי זקן וקרעי בגדים ומתגדדים ומנחה ולבונה בידם להביא בית יהוה׃ |
6 and to come out: come Ishmael son: child Nethaniah to/for to encounter: meet them from [the] Mizpah to go: come to go: come and to weep and to be like/as to meet [obj] them and to say to(wards) them to come (in): come to(wards) Gedaliah son: child Ahikam
| ויצא ישמעאל בן נתניה לקראתם מן המצפה הלך הלך ובכה ויהי כפגש אתם ויאמר אליהם באו אל גדליהו בן אחיקם׃ |
7 and to be like/as to come (in): come they to(wards) midst [the] city and to slaughter them Ishmael son: child Nethaniah to(wards) midst [the] pit he/she/it and [the] human which with him
| ויהי כבואם אל תוך העיר וישחטם ישמעאל בן נתניה אל תוך הבור הוא והאנשים אשר אתו׃ |
8 and ten human to find in/on/with them and to say to(wards) Ishmael not to die us for there to/for us treasure in/on/with land: country wheat and barley and oil and honey and to cease and not to die them in/on/with midst brother: compatriot their
| ועשרה אנשים נמצאו בם ויאמרו אל ישמעאל אל תמתנו כי יש לנו מטמנים בשדה חטים ושערים ושמן ודבש ויחדל ולא המיתם בתוך אחיהם׃ |
9 and [the] pit which to throw there Ishmael [obj] all corpse [the] human which to smite in/on/with hand: to Gedaliah he/she/it which to make [the] king Asa from face: because Baasha king Israel [obj] him to fill Ishmael son: child Nethaniah slain: killed
| והבור אשר השליך שם ישמעאל את כל פגרי האנשים אשר הכה ביד גדליהו הוא אשר עשה המלך אסא מפני בעשא מלך ישראל אתו מלא ישמעאל בן נתניהו חללים׃ |
10 and to take captive Ishmael [obj] all remnant [the] people which in/on/with Mizpah [obj] daughter [the] king and [obj] all [the] people [the] to remain in/on/with Mizpah which to reckon: overseer Nebuzaradan chief guard with Gedaliah son: child Ahikam and to take captive them Ishmael son: child Nethaniah and to go: went to/for to pass to(wards) son: descendant/people Ammon
| וישב ישמעאל את כל שארית העם אשר במצפה את בנות המלך ואת כל העם הנשארים במצפה אשר הפקיד נבוזראדן רב טבחים את גדליהו בן אחיקם וישבם ישמעאל בן נתניה וילך לעבר אל בני עמון׃ |
11 and to hear: hear Johanan son: child Kareah and all ruler [the] strength: soldiers which with him [obj] all [the] distress: evil which to make: do Ishmael son: child Nethaniah
| וישמע יוחנן בן קרח וכל שרי החילים אשר אתו את כל הרעה אשר עשה ישמעאל בן נתניה׃ |
12 and to take: take [obj] all [the] human and to go: went to/for to fight with Ishmael son: child Nethaniah and to find [obj] him to(wards) water many which in/on/with Gibeon
| ויקחו את כל האנשים וילכו להלחם עם ישמעאל בן נתניה וימצאו אתו אל מים רבים אשר בגבעון׃ |
13 and to be like/as to see: see all [the] people which with Ishmael [obj] Johanan son: child Kareah and [obj] all ruler [the] strength: soldiers which with him and to rejoice
| ויהי כראות כל העם אשר את ישמעאל את יוחנן בן קרח ואת כל שרי החילים אשר אתו וישמחו׃ |
14 and to turn: surround all [the] people which to take captive Ishmael from [the] Mizpah and to return: return and to go: went to(wards) Johanan son: child Kareah
| ויסבו כל העם אשר שבה ישמעאל מן המצפה וישבו וילכו אל יוחנן בן קרח׃ |
15 and Ishmael son: child Nethaniah to escape in/on/with eight human from face: before Johanan and to go: went to(wards) son: descendant/people Ammon
| וישמעאל בן נתניה נמלט בשמנה אנשים מפני יוחנן וילך אל בני עמון׃ |
16 and to take: take Johanan son: child Kareah and all ruler [the] strength: soldiers which with him [obj] all remnant [the] people which to return: rescue from with Ishmael son: child Nethaniah from [the] Mizpah after to smite [obj] Gedaliah son: child Ahikam great man human [the] battle and woman and child and eunuch which to return: return from Gibeon
| ויקח יוחנן בן קרח וכל שרי החילים אשר אתו את כל שארית העם אשר השיב מאת ישמעאל בן נתניה מן המצפה אחר הכה את גדליה בן אחיקם גברים אנשי המלחמה ונשים וטף וסרסים אשר השיב מגבעון׃ |
17 and to go: went and to dwell in/on/with Geruth ((Geruth) Chimham *Q(K)*) which beside Bethlehem Bethlehem to/for to go: went to/for to come (in): come Egypt
| וילכו וישבו בגרות כמוהם אשר אצל בית לחם ללכת לבוא מצרים׃ |
18 from face: before [the] Chaldea for to fear from face of their for to smite Ishmael son: child Nethaniah [obj] Gedaliah son: child Ahikam which to reckon: overseer king Babylon in/on/with land: country/planet
| מפני הכשדים כי יראו מפניהם כי הכה ישמעאל בן נתניה את גדליהו בן אחיקם אשר הפקיד מלך בבל בארץ׃ |
