௨௮இதினிமித்தம் பூமி புலம்பும், உயர இருக்கிற வானங்கள் கறுத்துப்போகும்; நான் அதைச் சொன்னேன், அதைத் தீர்மானம்செய்தேன்; நான் மனஸ்தாபப்படுவதும் இல்லை; நான் அதைவிட்டுத் திரும்புவதும் இல்லை.

௩0பாழாய்ப்போன நீ இப்பொழுது என்ன செய்வாய்? நீ இரத்தாம்பரம் அணிந்தாலும், பொன் ஆபரணங்களால் உன்னை அலங்கரித்தாலும், உன் கண்களில் மையிட்டுக்கொண்டாலும், வீணாய் உன்னை அழகுபடுத்துவாய்; ஆசைநாயகர்கள் உன்னை அசட்டைசெய்து, உன் உயிரை வாங்கத் தேடுவார்கள்.
