Jeremiah 39
1 in/on/with year [the] ninth to/for Zedekiah king Judah in/on/with month [the] tenth to come (in): come Nebuchadnezzar king Babylon and all strength: soldiers his to(wards) Jerusalem and to confine upon her
Tháng mười năm thứ chín đời Vua Sê-đê-kia cai trị, Vua Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa dốc toàn lực tấn công và bao vây Giê-ru-sa-lem.
2 in/on/with eleven ten year to/for Zedekiah in/on/with month [the] fourth in/on/with nine to/for month to break up/open [the] city
Hai năm rưỡi sau, vào ngày chín tháng tư, năm thứ mười một triều Sê-đê-kia, quân Ba-by-lôn công phá tường thành, và thành thất thủ.

Nhưng quân Canh-đê đuổi theo vua và bắt vua trong đồng bằng Giê-ri-cô. Họ đem vua về cho Vua Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa, nước Ba-by-lôn, tại Ríp-la, trong xứ Ha-mát. Vua Ba-by-lôn lập tòa án xét xử và tuyên án Sê-đê-kia tại đó.
6 and to slaughter king Babylon [obj] son: child Zedekiah in/on/with Riblah to/for eye his and [obj] all noble Judah to slaughter king Babylon
Ông bắt Sê-đê-kia chứng kiến cuộc hành hình các hoàng tử và tất cả hàng quý tộc Giu-đa.

8 and [obj] house: palace [the] king and [obj] house: home [the] people to burn [the] Chaldea in/on/with fire and [obj] wall Jerusalem to tear
Quân Ba-by-lôn đốt rụi Giê-ru-sa-lem, kể cả hoàng cung, và phá đổ các tường lũy bọc quanh thành.

Nê-bu-xa-ra-đan, quan chỉ huy thị vệ, đưa đi lưu đày qua Ba-by-lôn tất cả số dân sống sót sau cuộc chiến tranh, kể cả những người đã đào ngũ theo ông ấy.

Vậy, Nê-bu-xa-ra-đan, quan chỉ huy thị vệ; Nê-bu-sa-ban, quan chỉ huy trưởng; Nẹt-gan Sa-rết-sê, quân sư của vua, và các quan tướng khác của vua Ba-by-lôn
14 and to send: depart and to take: take [obj] Jeremiah from court [the] guardhouse and to give: give [obj] him to(wards) Gedaliah son: child Ahikam son: child Shaphan to/for to come out: send him to(wards) [the] house: home and to dwell in/on/with midst [the] people
sai người đem Giê-rê-mi ra khỏi ngục. Họ giao cho Ghê-đa-lia, con A-hi-cam, cháu Sa-phan, săn sóc và đem người về nhà. Vậy, Giê-rê-mi ở lại trong Giu-đa sống chung với dân của mình.

Chúa Hằng Hữu ban một sứ điệp nữa cho Giê-rê-mi trong thời gian ông bị giam cầm:
16 to go: went and to say to/for Ebed-melech Ebed-melech [the] Ethiopian to/for to say thus to say LORD Hosts God Israel look! I (to come (in): fulfill *Q(k)*) [obj] word my to(wards) [the] city [the] this to/for distress: harm and not to/for welfare and to be to/for face: before your in/on/with day [the] he/she/it
“Hãy nói với Ê-bết Mê-lết người Ê-thi-ô-pi rằng: ‘Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân, Đức Chúa Trời của Ít-ra-ên, phán: Ta sẽ làm cho thành này mọi điều mà Ta đã ngăm đe. Ta sẽ giáng họa, chứ không ban phước. Ngươi sẽ thấy nó bị hủy diệt,
17 and to rescue you in/on/with day [the] he/she/it utterance LORD and not to give: give in/on/with hand: power [the] human which you(m. s.) fearing from face of their
nhưng Ta sẽ giải cứu ngươi từ tay những người mà ngươi rất sợ.
18 for to escape to escape you and in/on/with sword not to fall: kill and to be to/for you soul: life your to/for spoil for to trust in/on/with me utterance LORD
Vì ngươi đã tin cậy Ta, Ta sẽ giải cứu ngươi và bảo tồn mạng sống ngươi. Đó là phần thưởng Ta dành cho ngươi. Ta, Chúa Hằng Hữu, phán vậy!’”
