Jeremiah 37
1 and to reign king Zedekiah son: child Josiah underneath: instead Coniah son: child Jehoiakim which to reign Nebuchadnezzar king Babylon in/on/with land: country/planet Judah
Und es ward König an Stelle Chonjas, des Sohnes Jojakims, Zedekia, der Sohn Josias, den Nebukadrezar, der König von Babel, über das Land Juda zum Könige gemacht hatte;
2 and not to hear: hear he/she/it and servant/slave his and people [the] land: country/planet to(wards) word LORD which to speak: speak in/on/with hand: by Jeremiah [the] prophet
aber weder er, noch seine Diener, noch die Bevölkerung des Landes hörte auf die Worte Jahwes, die er durch den Propheten Jeremia redete.
3 and to send: depart [the] king Zedekiah [obj] Jehucal son: child Shelemiah and [obj] Zephaniah son: child Maaseiah [the] priest to(wards) Jeremiah [the] prophet to/for to say to pray please about/through/for us to(wards) LORD God our
Da sandte der König Zedekia Juchal, den Sohn Selemjas, und den Priester Zephanja, den Sohn Masejas, zum Propheten Jeremia mit der Aufforderung: Flehe doch für uns zu Jahwe, unserem Gotte!
4 and Jeremiah to come (in): come and to come out: come in/on/with midst [the] people and not to give: put [obj] him house: home ([the] prison *Q(K)*)
Jeremia aber ging ein und aus inmitten des Volks und man hatte ihn noch nicht in den Kerker gelegt;
5 and strength: soldiers Pharaoh to come out: come from Egypt and to hear: hear [the] Chaldea [the] to confine upon Jerusalem [obj] report their and to ascend: rise from upon Jerusalem
inzwischen war die Heeresmacht des Pharao aus Ägypten aufgebrochen, und als die Chaldäer, die Jerusalem belagerten, die Kunde davon vernahmen, sahen sie sich genötigt, die Belagerung von Jerusalem aufzuheben.
6 and to be word LORD to(wards) Jeremiah [the] prophet to/for to say
Da erging das Wort Jahwes an den Propheten Jeremia folgendermaßen:
7 thus to say LORD God Israel thus to say to(wards) king Judah [the] to send: depart [obj] you to(wards) me to/for to seek me behold strength: soldiers Pharaoh [the] to come out: come to/for you to/for help to return: return to/for land: country/planet his Egypt
So spricht Jahwe, der Gott Israels: Sprecht also zum Könige von Juda, der euch zu mir gesandt hat, mich zu befragen: Die Heeresmacht des Pharao, die zu eurer Unterstützung ausgezogen ist, wird alsbald in ihr Land, nach Ägypten, zurückkehren,
8 and to return: return [the] Chaldea and to fight upon [the] city [the] this and to capture her and to burn her in/on/with fire
und zurückkehren werden auch die Chaldäer, um diese Stadt zu belagern, sie einzunehmen und niederzubrennen!
9 thus to say LORD not to deceive soul: myself your to/for to say to go: went to go: went from upon us [the] Chaldea for not to go: went
So spricht Jahwe: Betrügt euch nicht selbst, indem ihr wähnt: “Die Chaldäer ziehen ganz von uns ab!” denn sie ziehen nicht ab.
10 that if: except if: except to smite all strength: soldiers Chaldea [the] to fight with you and to remain in/on/with them human to pierce man: anyone in/on/with tent his to arise: rise and to burn [obj] [the] city [the] this in/on/with fire
Denn selbst wenn ihr das ganze Heer der Chaldäer, das mit euch kämpft, schlagen würdet, und es blieben davon nur einige Schwerverwundete übrig, so würden sie sich doch ein jeder in seinem Zelt aufraffen und diese Stadt niederbrennen!
11 and to be in/on/with to ascend: rise strength: soldiers [the] Chaldea from upon Jerusalem from face: because strength: soldiers Pharaoh
Als nun das Heer der Chaldäer wegen der Heeresmacht des Pharao sich genötigt sah, die Belagerung von Jerusalem aufzuheben,
12 and to come out: come Jeremiah from Jerusalem to/for to go: went land: country/planet Benjamin to/for to divide from there in/on/with midst [the] people
da verließ Jeremia Jerusalem, um sich ins Gebiet von Benjamin zu begeben, um dort einen Besitzanteil zu erheben, mitten unter der Volksmenge.
13 and to be he/she/it in/on/with gate Benjamin (Gate) and there master: [master of] oversight and name his Irijah son: child Shelemiah son: child Hananiah and to capture [obj] Jeremiah [the] prophet to/for to say to(wards) [the] Chaldea you(m. s.) to fall: deserting
Als er aber in das Benjaminthor gelangt war, woselbst einer Namens Jeria, der Sohn Selemjas, des Sohnes Hananjas, die Wache hatte, da hielt dieser den Propheten Jeremia an mit dem Rufe: Du willst zu den Chaldäern überlaufen!
14 and to say Jeremiah deception nothing I to fall: deserting upon [the] Chaldea and not to hear: hear to(wards) him and to capture Irijah in/on/with Jeremiah and to come (in): bring him to(wards) [the] ruler
Da sprach Jeremia: Lüge! Ich will nicht zu den Chaldäern überlaufen! und achtete nicht weiter auf ihn. Jeria aber nahm Jeremia fest und führte ihn zu den Oberen.
15 and be angry [the] ruler upon Jeremiah and to smite [obj] him and to give: throw [obj] him house: home [the] bond house: household Jonathan [the] secretary for [obj] him to make to/for house: home [the] prison
Und die Oberen gerieten in Zorn wider Jeremia, schlugen ihn und legten ihn ins Gefängnis im Hause des Staatsschreibers Jonathan; denn das hatten sie zum Kerker gemacht.
16 for to come (in): come Jeremiah to(wards) house: home [the] pit and to(wards) [the] vault and to dwell there Jeremiah day many
Und so kam Jeremia in den Kerker und in die Gewölbe; daselbst blieb Jeremia geraume Zeit.
17 and to send: depart [the] king Zedekiah and to take: recieve him and to ask him [the] king in/on/with house: palace his in/on/with secrecy and to say there word from with LORD and to say Jeremiah there and to say in/on/with hand: power king Babylon to give: give
Es ließ ihn jedoch der König Zedekia holen und der König befragte ihn in seinem Palast insgeheim und sprach: Ist ein Wort von seiten Jahwes da? Jeremia antwortete: Ja! und er sprach: Der Gewalt des Königs von Babel wirst du überliefert werden!
18 and to say Jeremiah to(wards) [the] king Zedekiah what? to sin to/for you and to/for servant/slave your and to/for people [the] this for to give: put [obj] me to(wards) house: home [the] prison
Dann sagte Jeremia zum Könige Zedekia: Womit habe ich mich an dir und deinen Dienern und diesem Volke versündigt, daß ihr mich in den Kerker gesetzt habt?
19 (and where? *Q(K)*) prophet your which to prophesy to/for you to/for to say not to come (in): come king Babylon upon you and upon [the] land: country/planet [the] this
Und wo sind nun eure Propheten, die euch also geweissagt haben: “Der König von Babel wird nicht über euch und über dieses Land kommen!” -?
20 and now to hear: hear please lord my [the] king to fall: fall please supplication my to/for face: before your and not to return: return me house: household Jonathan [the] secretary and not to die there
Und nun - so höre denn mein Herr und König! Laß doch mein Flehen bei dir Gehör finden! Laß mich nicht in das Haus des Staatsschreibers Jonathan zurückkehren, damit ich dort nicht umkomme!
21 and to command [the] king Zedekiah and to reckon: overseer [obj] Jeremiah in/on/with court [the] guardhouse and to give: give to/for him talent food: bread to/for day: daily from outside [the] to bake till to finish all [the] food: bread from [the] city and to dwell Jeremiah in/on/with court [the] guardhouse
Auf Befehl des Königs Zedekia brachte man sodann Jeremia im Wachthof in Gewahrsam und gab ihm Tag für Tag einen Laib Brot aus der Bäckergasse, so lange, bis alles Brot in der Stadt aufgezehrt war. Und so blieb Jeremia im Wachthofe.
