Și Pașhur, fiul lui Imer, preotul, care era de asemenea marele guvernator al casei DOMNULUI, a auzit că Ieremia a profețit aceste lucruri.

Și s-a întâmplat a doua zi, că Pașhur l-a scos pe Ieremia din butuci. Atunci Ieremia i-a spus: DOMNUL nu ți-a pus numele Pașhur, ci Magor-Misabib.

Pentru că astfel spune DOMNUL: Iată, te voi face o teroare pentru tine însuți și pentru toți prietenii tăi: și ei vor cădea prin sabia dușmanilor lor și ochii tăi vor privi aceasta; și voi da pe tot Iuda în mâna împăratului Babilonului și el îi va duce captivi în Babilon și îi va ucide cu sabia.
5 and to give: give [obj] all wealth [the] city [the] this and [obj] all toil her and [obj] all preciousness her and [obj] all treasure king Judah to give: give in/on/with hand: power enemy their and to plunder them and to take: take them and to come (in): bring them Babylon [to]
Mai mult, eu voi da toată tăria acestei cetăți și toată munca ei și toate lucrurile prețioase ale ei și toate tezaurele împăraților lui Iuda le voi da în mâna dușmanilor lor, care îi vor prăda și îi vor lua și îi vor duce în Babilon.

Și tu, Pașhur, și toți cei ce locuiesc în casa ta veți merge în captivitate; și tu vei veni în Babilon și acolo vei muri și acolo vei fi îngropat, tu și toți prietenii tăi, cărora le-ai profețit minciuni.

DOAMNE, tu m-ai înșelat și eu am fost înșelat; tu ești mai tare decât mine și ai învins; zilnic, eu sunt un lucru de râs, fiecare mă batjocorește.

Dar DOMNUL este cu mine ca un viteaz puternic; de aceea persecutorii mei se vor poticni și nu vor învinge; ei vor fi foarte rușinați, pentru că nu vor prospera; disprețuirea lor veșnică nu va fi niciodată uitată.

Dar, DOAMNE al oștirilor, tu care încerci pe cel drept și vezi rărunchii și inima, lasă-mă să văd răzbunarea ta asupra lor, pentru că ție ți-am arătat cauza mea.
13 to sing to/for LORD to boast: praise [obj] LORD for to rescue [obj] soul: life needy from hand: power be evil
Cântați DOMNULUI, lăudați pe DOMNUL, pentru că el a eliberat sufletul celui sărac din mâna făcătorilor de rău.
14 to curse [the] day which to beget in/on/with him day which to beget me mother my not to be to bless
Blestemată fie ziua în care am fost născut; să nu fie binecuvântată ziua în care mama mea m-a născut.
15 to curse [the] man which to bear tidings [obj] father my to/for to say to beget to/for you son: child male to rejoice to rejoice him
Blestemat fie omul care a adus vești tatălui meu, spunând: Un copil de parte bărbătească ți s-a născut; înveselindu-l.
16 and to be [the] man [the] he/she/it like/as city which to overturn LORD and not to be sorry: comfort and to hear: hear outcry in/on/with morning and shout in/on/with time midday
Și acel om să fie ca cetățile pe care DOMNUL le-a dărâmat și nu s-au pocăit. Și să audă el plânset dimineața și strigare la amiază;
17 which not to die me from womb and to be to/for me mother my grave my and womb her pregnant forever: enduring
Pentru că nu m-a ucis din pântece; și mama mea mi-ar fi fost mormântul și pântecele ei însărcinat întotdeauna cu mine.
18 to/for what? this from womb to come out: produce to/for to see: see trouble and sorrow and to end: expend in/on/with shame day my
Pentru ce am ieșit din pântece, ca să văd osteneală și întristare, ca zilele mele să fie mistuite cu rușine?
