ಎದೋಮಿನಿಂದಲೂ ರಕ್ತಾಂಬರ ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೊಚ್ರದಿಂದಲೂ ಬರುವ ಇವನ್ಯಾರು? ಪ್ರಭೆಯುಳ್ಳ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ತೊಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ, ತನ್ನ ಮಹಾ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚಾರ ಮಾಡುವ ಇವನ್ಯಾರು? “ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸುವವನೂ, ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನೂ ನಾನೇ.”

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಮಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಕೃಪೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಪಡಿಸುವೆನು. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಅಂತಃಕರುಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ, ತನ್ನ ಕೃಪೆಯ ಮಹಾ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯತನದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಉಪಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದನಲ್ಲಾ.

ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದು, ಆತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮನನ್ನು ದುಃಖಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಬೇರೆಯಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶತ್ರುವಾದನು. ಆತನೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದನು.

ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ನೋಡಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪವಿತ್ರವೂ ಮಹಿಮೆಯೂ ಆದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದಿಂದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದ ಘೋಷವೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕರುಣೆ ಕನಿಕರಗಳೂ ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಬಿಗಿಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರೋ?

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಏಕೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಅನುಮತಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ? ಏಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಭಯಪಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯರಾಗಿರುವ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನೀವು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿರಿ.
