< Isaiah 35 >

1 to rejoice [emph?] wilderness and dryness and to rejoice plain and to sprout like/as crocus
They joy from the wilderness and dry place, And rejoice doth the desert, and flourish as the rose,
2 to sprout to sprout and to rejoice also rejoicing and to sing glory [the] Lebanon to give: give to/for her glory [the] Carmel and [the] Sharon they(masc.) to see: see glory LORD glory God our
Flourishing it doth flourish, and rejoice, Yea, [with] joy and singing, The honour of Lebanon hath been given to it, The beauty of Carmel and Sharon, They — they see the honour of Jehovah, The majesty of our God.
3 to strengthen: strengthen hand weak and knee to stumble to strengthen
Strengthen ye the feeble hands, Yea, the stumbling knees strengthen.
4 to say to/for to hasten heart to strengthen: strengthen not to fear behold God your vengeance to come (in): come recompense God he/she/it to come (in): come and to save you
Say to the hastened of heart, 'Be strong, Fear not, lo, your God; vengeance cometh, The recompence of God, He Himself doth come and save you.'
5 then to open eye blind and ear deaf to open
Then opened are eyes of the blind, And ears of the deaf are unstopped,
6 then to leap like/as deer lame and to sing tongue mute for to break up/open in/on/with wilderness water and torrent: river in/on/with plain
Then leap as a hart doth the lame, And sing doth the tongue of the dumb, For broken up in a wilderness have been waters, And streams in a desert.
7 and to be [the] scorching to/for pool and parched to/for spring water in/on/with pasture jackal rest her grass to/for branch: stem and reed
And the mirage hath become a pond, And the thirsty land fountains of waters, In the habitation of dragons, Its place of couching down, a court for reed and rush.
8 and to be there highway and way: road and Way [the] (Way of) Holiness to call: call by to/for her not to pass him unclean and he/she/it to/for them to go: walk way: road and fool(ish) not to go astray
And a highway hath been there, and a way, And the 'way of holiness' is called to it, Not pass over it doth the unclean, And He Himself [is] by them, Whoso is going in the way — even fools err not.
9 not to be there lion and violent living thing not to ascend: rise her not to find there and to go: walk to redeem: redeem
No lion is there, yea, a destructive beast Ascendeth it not, it is not found there, And walked have the redeemed,
10 and to ransom LORD to return: return [emph?] and to come (in): come Zion in/on/with cry and joy forever: enduring upon head their rejoicing and joy to overtake and to flee sorrow and sighing
And the ransomed of Jehovah return, And have entered Zion with singing. And joy age-during on their head, Joy and gladness they attain, And fled away have sorrow and sighing!
