Isaiah 20

೧ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ರಾಜನಾದ ಸರ್ಗೋನನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ದಳವಾಯಿಯು ಅಷ್ದೋದಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅದರ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಆಕ್ರಮಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.

೨ಅದೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಮೋಚನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನಿಗೆ, “ಹೋಗು, ನಿನ್ನ ನಡುವಿನ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಗೋಣಿತಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚು. ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪಾದರಕ್ಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದಿಡು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅವನು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಪಾದರಕ್ಷೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತಿರುಗಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

೩ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು, “ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮತ್ತು ಕೂಷಿನ ನಾಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾದ ಗುರುತಾಗಿ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಪಾದರಕ್ಷೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನಡೆದನು.”

4 so to lead king Assyria [obj] captivity Egypt and [obj] captivity Cush youth and old naked and barefoot and to strip buttock nakedness Egypt

೪ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಸೆರೆಯವರನ್ನೂ, ಕೂಷಿನ ಕೈದಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರು ದೊಡ್ಡವರಾಗಲಿ, ಚಿಕ್ಕವರಾಗಲಿ ಬಟ್ಟೆ, ಪಾದರಕ್ಷೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮಾನಭಂಗಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಸೆರೆಗೆ ನಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವನು.

5 and to to be dismayed and be ashamed from Cush expectation their and from Egypt beauty their

೫ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ತಾವು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಕೂಷಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಬೆಚ್ಚಿಬೆರಗಾಗಿ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುವರು.

6 and to say to dwell [the] coastland [the] this in/on/with day [the] he/she/it behold thus expectation our which to flee there to/for help to/for to rescue from face: before king Assyria and how? to escape we

೬ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ಇಗೋ, ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸರಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾವು ಯಾರನ್ನು ಶರಣಾಗತರಾಗಿ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದೆವೋ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಗತಿ ಬಂತಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ನಾವು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?” ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
