੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਮ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਫੇਰ ਚੁਣੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੂਮੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਸਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਓਪਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

੨ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਘਰਾਣਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਸੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਭੂਮੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਦੀ ਬਣਾਉਣਗੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਹ ਕੈਦੀ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

੩ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੀ ਪੀੜ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਔਖੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਰਾਈ ਗਈ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇਵੇ,

੪ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇਹ ਬੋਲੀ ਮਾਰੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਖੀਂ - ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਸੁਨਹਿਰਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਨਖੁੱਟ ਗਿਆ!

੮ਸਰੂ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਆਰ ਵੀ, - ਜਦੋਂ ਦਾ ਤੂੰ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ, ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੱਢਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ।

੯ਹੇਠੋਂ ਪਤਾਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਹਿੱਲ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕਰੇ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਨੇ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। (Sheol h7585)

੧੩ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਤਾਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਣ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਾਂਗਾ।

੧੫ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਪਤਾਲ ਤੱਕ, ਸਗੋਂ ਟੋਏ ਦੀ ਡੁੰਘਿਆਈ ਤੱਕ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਲਾਹਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ। (Sheol h7585)

੧੬ਤੇਰੇ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਵੱਲ ਤੱਕਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੌਰ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਭਲਾ, ਇਹ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਂਬਾ ਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ?

੧੮ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜੇ, ਹਾਂ, ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ, ਸ਼ਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਲੇਟਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹਰੇਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਾਧ ਵਿੱਚ।

੧੯ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੀ ਟਹਿਣੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਤੂੰ ਵੱਢਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਗਏ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਟੋਏ ਦੇ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਲਾਹੇ ਗਏ, ਉਸ ਲੋਥ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮਿੱਧੀ ਗਈ ਹੋਵੇ।

੨੦ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਫ਼ਨ ਦਫ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਰਲੇਂਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ! ਕੁਕਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਕਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

੨੧ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬਦੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਢੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰੋ, ਕਿਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਦੇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲੈਣ, ਅਤੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਦੇਣ।

੨੫ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੀਹ ਸੁੱਟਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਲਤਾੜਾਂਗਾ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਜੂਲਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਭਾਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੋਢਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਹਟ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

੨੬ਇਹ ਉਹ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਮਿੱਥੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਹੱਥ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

੨੭ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਠਾਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਕੌਣ ਰੱਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ? ਉਹ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਕੌਣ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕੇਗਾ?

੨੮ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਲ ਇਹ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਕ ਹੋਇਆ,

੨੯ਹੇ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਓ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਨੰਦ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੋ, ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਡੰਡਾ ਭੰਨਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਨਾਗ ਦੀ ਜੜ੍ਹੋਂ ਫਨੀਅਰ ਸੱਪ ਨਿੱਕਲੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਇੱਕ ਉੱਡਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੱਪ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
30 and to pasture firstborn poor and needy to/for security to stretch and to die in/on/with famine root your and remnant your to kill
੩੦ਤਦ ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਚੈਨ ਨਾਲ ਲੇਟਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਜੜ੍ਹ ਕਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਵੱਢੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
31 to wail gate to cry out city to melt Philistia all your for from north smoke to come (in): come and nothing be alone in/on/with ranks his
੩੧ਹੇ ਫਾਟਕ, ਧਾਹਾਂ ਮਾਰ! ਹੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ, ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦੇ! ਹੇ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤ, ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਪਿਘਲ ਜਾ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਧੂੰਆਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਤਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਢਿੱਲਾ-ਮੱਠਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
