Genesis 50

Giô-sép bèn cúi đầu xuống mặt cha mình, hôn người và khóc.
2 and to command Joseph [obj] servant/slave his [obj] [the] to heal to/for to spice [obj] father his and to spice [the] to heal [obj] Israel
Ðoạn, Giô-sép biểu mấy thầy thuốc hầu việc mình, dùng thuốc thơm xông cho xác cha; thầy thuốc bèn xông cho Y-sơ-ra-ên.
3 and to fill to/for him forty day for so to fill day [the] embalming and to weep [obj] him Egyptian seventy day
Bốn mươi ngày xông thuốc hầu qua, vì ấy là hạn ngày dùng xông thuốc; dân Ê-díp-tô khóc người trong bảy mươi ngày.
4 and to pass day weeping his and to speak: speak Joseph to(wards) house: household Pharaoh to/for to say if please to find favor in/on/with eye your to speak: speak please in/on/with ear: to ears Pharaoh to/for to say
Khi mãn tang rồi, Giô-sép bèn nói cùng quần thần Pha-ra-ôn rằng: Nếu tôi được ơn trước mặt các ngươi, xin hãy thuật lại lời nầy cho Pha-ra-ôn nghe:
5 father my to swear me to/for to say behold I to die in/on/with grave my which to pierce to/for me in/on/with land: country/planet Canaan there [to] to bury me and now to ascend: rise please and to bury [obj] father my and to return: return
Cha tôi có biểu tôi thề mà rằng: Nầy, cha sẽ chết, con hãy chôn cha nơi mộ địa ta đã mua sẵn rồi trong xứ Ca-na-an. Vậy bây giờ, tôi phải lên đó chôn cha tôi, rồi sẽ trở xuống.
6 and to say Pharaoh to ascend: rise and to bury [obj] father your like/as as which to swear you
Pha-ra-ôn bèn phán rằng: Hãy trở lên chôn cha ngươi, y như lời người đã bắt thề đó.
7 and to ascend: rise Joseph to/for to bury [obj] father his and to ascend: rise with him all servant/slave Pharaoh old: elder house: household his and all old: elder land: country/planet Egypt
Giô-sép dời xác cha mình trở lên chôn; quần thần Pha-ra-ôn, các bực trưởng lão trong đền, các bực trưởng lão trong xứ Ê-díp-tô,
8 and all house: household Joseph and brother: male-sibling his and house: household father his except child their and flock their and cattle their to leave: forsake in/on/with land: country/planet Goshen
hết thảy nội nhà Giô-sép, các anh em và nội nhà cha mình đều đi lên theo đưa với người; trong Gô-sen chỉ còn những đứa trẻ và chiên, cùng bò của họ mà thôi.

Lại cũng có đem ngựa và xe theo lên nữa: thật là một đám xác rất đông thay!
10 and to come (in): come till threshing floor [the] Atad which in/on/with side: beyond [the] Jordan and to mourn there mourning great: large and heavy much and to make to/for father his mourning seven day
Khi đến sân đạp lúa của A-tát, ở bên kia sông Giô-đanh, thì họ làm lễ khóc than rất nên trọng thể tại đó; đoạn, Giô-sép để tang cha trong bảy ngày.
11 and to see: see to dwell [the] land: country/planet [the] Canaanite [obj] [the] mourning in/on/with threshing floor [the] Atad and to say mourning heavy this to/for Egypt upon so to call: call by name her Abel-mizraim Abel-mizraim which in/on/with side: beyond [the] Jordan
Dân Ca-na-an, tức là dân xứ ấy, thấy khóc than nơi sân đạp lúa A-tát, thì nói rằng: Ấy là một đám khóc than trọng thể của dân Ê-díp-tô đó! Bởi cớ ấy người ta gọi cái sân nầy tên là A-bên-Mích-ra-im ở bên kia sông Giô-đanh.

Vậy, các con trai Gia-cốp làm theo lời cha trối lại,

dời xác người về xứ Ca-na-an, chôn trong hanh đá của đồng Mặc-bê-la ngang Mam-rê, mà Áp-ra-ham đã mua luôn với đồng ruộng Ép-rôn, người Hê-tít, để dùng làm mộ địa.

Chôn cha xong rồi, Giô-sép cùng các anh em và các người đi lên theo đưa xác cha, đều trở xuống xứ Ê-díp-tô.
15 and to see: see brother: male-sibling Joseph for to die father their and to say if to hate us Joseph and to return: pay to return: pay to/for us [obj] all [the] distress: evil which to wean [obj] him
Các anh Giô-sép thấy cha mình chết rồi, thì nói với nhau rằng: Có lẽ Giô-sép sẽ ganh ghét chúng ta, và trả thù việc ác chúng ta đã làm cho người chăng.

Các anh bèn sai người đến nói cùng Giô-sép rằng: Trước khi qua đời, cha em có trối rằng:
17 thus to say to/for Joseph Please! to lift: forgive please transgression brother: male-sibling your and sin their for distress: evil to wean you and now to lift: forgive please to/for transgression servant/slave God father your and to weep Joseph in/on/with to speak: speak they to(wards) him
Hãy nói lại cho Giô-sép như vầy: Ôi! xin hãy tha điều ác, tội phạm của các anh con đi, vì chúng nó đã lỗi cũng con đó; nhưng bây giờ cha xin con hãy tha tội kẻ tôi tớ của Ðức Chúa Trời cha. Nghe qua mấy lời nầy, Giô-sép bèn khóc.
18 and to go: come also brother: male-sibling his and to fall: fall to/for face: before his and to say behold we to/for you to/for servant/slave
Chánh các anh người đến sắp mình xuống dưới chơn mà nói rằng: Các anh đây thật là kẻ tôi tớ của em đó.
19 and to say to(wards) them Joseph not to fear for underneath: instead God I
Giô-sép đáp rằng: Các anh đừng sợ chi, vì tôi há thay mặt Ðức Chúa Trời sao?
20 and you(m. p.) to devise: devise upon me distress: evil God to devise: devise her to/for welfare because to make: do like/as day: today [the] this to/for to live people many
Các anh toan hại tôi, nhưng Ðức Chúa Trời lại toan làm điều ích cho tôi, hầu cho cứu sự sống cho nhiều người, y như đã xảy đến ngày nay, và giữ gìn sự sống của dân sự đông đảo.
21 and now not to fear I to sustain [obj] you and [obj] child your and to be sorry: comfort [obj] them and to speak: speak upon heart their
Vậy, đừng sợ, tôi sẽ cấp dưỡng các anh và con cái các anh. Ðoạn, Giô-sép an ủy các anh, và lấy lời êm dịu mà nói cùng họ.
22 and to dwell Joseph in/on/with Egypt he/she/it and house: household father his and to live Joseph hundred and ten year
Giô-sép cùng nhà cha mình kiều ngụ tại xứ Ê-díp-tô; người hưởng thọ được một trăm mười tuổi.
23 and to see: see Joseph to/for Ephraim son: descendant/people third also son: descendant/people Machir son: descendant/people Manasseh to beget upon knee Joseph
Người thấy được các con cháu Ép-ra-im đến đời thứ ba, và cũng có được nâng niu trên gối mình các con của Ma-ki, tức con trai của Ma-na-se, nữa.
24 and to say Joseph to(wards) brother: male-sibling his I to die and God to reckon: visit to reckon: visit [obj] you and to ascend: establish [obj] you from [the] land: country/planet [the] this to(wards) [the] land: country/planet which to swear to/for Abraham to/for Isaac and to/for Jacob
Kế, Giô-sép nói cùng các anh em rằng: Em sẽ chết, nhưng Ðức Chúa Trời sẽ đến viếng các anh em thật; đem các anh em về xứ mà Ngài đã thề hứa cùng Áp-ra-ham, Y-sác, và Gia-cốp.
25 and to swear Joseph [obj] son: descendant/people Israel to/for to say to reckon: visit to reckon: visit God [obj] you and to ascend: establish [obj] bone my from this
Giô-sép biểu các con trai của Y-sơ-ra-ên thề mà rằng: Quả thật, Ðức Chúa Trời sẽ đến viḀ¿ng các anh em; xin anh em hãy dời hài cốt tôi khỏi xứ nầy.
26 and to die Joseph son: aged hundred and ten year and to spice [obj] him and to put in/on/with ark in/on/with Egypt
Ðoạn, Giô-sép qua đời, hưởng thọ được một trăm mười tuổi. Người ta xông thuốc thơm cho xác Giô-sép, và liệm trong một quan tài tại xứ Ê-díp-tô.
