Genesis 50
1 and to fall: fall Joseph upon face father his and to weep upon him and to kiss to/for him
Allora Giuseppe si gettò sulla faccia di suo padre, pianse su lui, e lo baciò.

Poi Giuseppe ordinò ai medici ch’erano al suo servizio, d’imbalsamare suo padre; e i medici imbalsamarono Israele.
3 and to fill to/for him forty day for so to fill day [the] embalming and to weep [obj] him Egyptian seventy day
Ci vollero quaranta giorni; perché tanto è il tempo che s’impiega ad imbalsamare; e gli Egiziani lo piansero settanta giorni.

E quando i giorni del lutto fatto per lui furon passati, Giuseppe parlò alla casa di Faraone, dicendo: “Se ora ho trovato grazia agli occhi vostri, fate giungere agli orecchi di Faraone queste parole:
5 father my to swear me to/for to say behold I to die in/on/with grave my which to pierce to/for me in/on/with land: country/planet Canaan there [to] to bury me and now to ascend: rise please and to bury [obj] father my and to return: return
Mio padre m’ha fatto giurare e m’ha detto: Ecco, io mi muoio; seppelliscimi nel mio sepolcro, che mi sono scavato nel paese di Canaan. Ora dunque, permetti ch’io salga e seppellisca mio padre; poi tornerò”.
6 and to say Pharaoh to ascend: rise and to bury [obj] father your like/as as which to swear you
E Faraone rispose: “Sali, e seppellisci tuo padre come t’ha fatto giurare”.
7 and to ascend: rise Joseph to/for to bury [obj] father his and to ascend: rise with him all servant/slave Pharaoh old: elder house: household his and all old: elder land: country/planet Egypt
Allora Giuseppe salì a seppellire suo padre; e con lui salirono tutti i servitori di Faraone, gli Anziani della sua casa e tutti gli Anziani del paese d’Egitto,
8 and all house: household Joseph and brother: male-sibling his and house: household father his except child their and flock their and cattle their to leave: forsake in/on/with land: country/planet Goshen
e tutta la casa di Giuseppe e i suoi fratelli e la casa di suo padre. Non lasciarono nel paese di Goscen che i loro bambini, i loro greggi e i loro armenti.
9 and to ascend: rise with him also chariot also horseman and to be [the] camp heavy much
Con lui salirono pure carri e cavalieri; talché il corteggio era numerosissimo.
10 and to come (in): come till threshing floor [the] Atad which in/on/with side: beyond [the] Jordan and to mourn there mourning great: large and heavy much and to make to/for father his mourning seven day
E come furon giunti all’aia di Atad, ch’è oltre il Giordano, vi fecero grandi e profondi lamenti; e Giuseppe fece a suo padre un lutto di sette giorni.
11 and to see: see to dwell [the] land: country/planet [the] Canaanite [obj] [the] mourning in/on/with threshing floor [the] Atad and to say mourning heavy this to/for Egypt upon so to call: call by name her Abel-mizraim Abel-mizraim which in/on/with side: beyond [the] Jordan
Or quando gli abitanti del paese, i Cananei, videro il lutto dell’aia di Atad, dissero: “Questo e un grave lutto per gli Egiziani!” Perciò fu messo nome Abel-Mitsraim a quell’aia, ch’è oltre il Giordano.

I figliuoli di Giacobbe fecero per lui quello ch’egli aveva ordinato loro:

lo trasportarono nel paese di Canaan, e lo seppellirono nella spelonca del campo di Macpela, che Abrahamo avea comprato, col campo, da Efron lo Hitteo, come sepolcro di sua proprietà, dirimpetto a Mamre.

Giuseppe, dopo ch’ebbe sepolto suo padre, se ne tornò in Egitto coi suoi fratelli e con tutti quelli ch’erano saliti con lui a seppellire suo padre.
15 and to see: see brother: male-sibling Joseph for to die father their and to say if to hate us Joseph and to return: pay to return: pay to/for us [obj] all [the] distress: evil which to wean [obj] him
I fratelli di Giuseppe, quando videro che il loro padre era morto, dissero: “Chi sa che Giuseppe non ci porti odio, e non ci renda tutto il male che gli abbiam fatto!”
16 and to command to(wards) Joseph to/for to say father your to command to/for face: before death his to/for to say
E mandarono a dire a Giuseppe: “Tuo padre, prima di morire, dette quest’ordine:
17 thus to say to/for Joseph Please! to lift: forgive please transgression brother: male-sibling your and sin their for distress: evil to wean you and now to lift: forgive please to/for transgression servant/slave God father your and to weep Joseph in/on/with to speak: speak they to(wards) him
Dite così a Giuseppe: Deh, perdona ora ai tuoi fratelli il loro misfatto e il loro peccato; perché t’hanno fatto del male. Deh, perdona dunque ora il misfatto de’ servi dell’Iddio di tuo padre!” E Giuseppe, quando gli fu parlato così, pianse.

E i suoi fratelli vennero anch’essi, si prostrarono ai suoi piedi, e dissero: “Ecco, siamo tuoi servi”.

E Giuseppe disse loro: “Non temete; poiché son io forse al posto di Dio?
20 and you(m. p.) to devise: devise upon me distress: evil God to devise: devise her to/for welfare because to make: do like/as day: today [the] this to/for to live people many
Voi avevate pensato del male contro a me; ma Dio ha pensato di convertirlo in bene, per compiere quello che oggi avviene: per conservare in vita un popolo numeroso.
21 and now not to fear I to sustain [obj] you and [obj] child your and to be sorry: comfort [obj] them and to speak: speak upon heart their
Ora dunque non temete; io sostenterò voi e i vostri figliuoli”. E li confortò, e parlò al loro cuore.
22 and to dwell Joseph in/on/with Egypt he/she/it and house: household father his and to live Joseph hundred and ten year
Giuseppe dimorò in Egitto: egli, con la casa di suo padre; e visse centodieci anni.
23 and to see: see Joseph to/for Ephraim son: descendant/people third also son: descendant/people Machir son: descendant/people Manasseh to beget upon knee Joseph
Giuseppe vide i figliuoli di Efraim, fino alla terza generazione; anche i figliuoli di Makir, figliuolo di Manasse, nacquero sulle sue ginocchia.

E Giuseppe disse ai suoi fratelli: “Io sto per morire; ma Dio per certo vi visiterà, e vi farà salire, da questo paese, nel paese che promise con giuramento ad Abrahamo, a Isacco e a Giacobbe”.

E Giuseppe fece giurare i figliuoli d’Israele, dicendo: “Iddio per certo vi visiterà; allora, trasportate di qui le mie ossa”.
26 and to die Joseph son: aged hundred and ten year and to spice [obj] him and to put in/on/with ark in/on/with Egypt
Poi Giuseppe morì, in età di centodieci anni; e fu imbalsamato, e posto in una bara in Egitto.
