< Genesis 43 >
1 and [the] famine heavy in/on/with land: country/planet
And the derth waxed sore in the lande.
2 and to be like/as as which to end: expend to/for to eat [obj] [the] grain which to come (in): bring from Egypt and to say to(wards) them father their to return: again to buy grain to/for us little food
And when they had eate vp that corne which they brought out of the lande of Egipte their father sayde vnto them: goo agayne and by vs a litle food.
3 and to say to(wards) him Judah to/for to say to testify to testify in/on/with us [the] man to/for to say not to see: see face my lest brother: male-sibling your with you
Than sayde Iuda vnto him: the man dyd testifie vnto vs saynge: loke that ye see not my face excepte youre brother be with you.
4 if there you to send: depart [obj] brother: male-sibling our with us to go down and to buy grain to/for you food
Therfore yf thou wilt sende oure brother with vs we wyll goo and bye the food.
5 and if nothing you to send: depart not to go down for [the] man to say to(wards) us not to see: see face my lest brother: male-sibling your with you
But yf thou wylt not sende him we wyll not goo: for the man sayde vnto vs: loke that ye see not my face excepte youre brother be with you.
6 and to say Israel to/for what? be evil to/for me to/for to tell to/for man still to/for you brother: male-sibling
And Israell sayde: wherfore delt ye so cruelly with me as to tell the man that ye had yet another brother?
7 and to say to ask to ask [the] man to/for us and to/for relatives our to/for to say still father your alive there to/for you brother: male-sibling and to tell to/for him upon lip: according [the] word [the] these to know to know for to say to go down [obj] brother: male-sibling your
And they sayde: The man asked vs of oure kynred saynge: is youre father yet alyue? haue ye not another brother? And we tolde him acordynge to these wordes. How cowd we knowe that he wolde byd vs brynge oure brother downe with vs?
8 and to say Judah to(wards) Israel father his to send: depart [emph?] [the] youth with me and to arise: rise and to go: went and to live and not to die also we also you(m. s.) also child our
Than sayde Iuda vnto Israell his father: Send the lad with me and we wyll ryse and goo that we maye lyue and not dye: both we thou and also oure childern.
9 I to pledge him from hand my to seek him if not to come (in): bring him to(wards) you and to set him to/for face: before your and to sin to/for you all [the] day: always
I wilbe suertie for him and of my handes requyre him. Yf I brynge him not to the and sett him before thine eyes than let me bere the blame for euer.
10 for unless to delay for now to return: return this beat
For except we had made this tarieg: by this we had bene there twyse and come agayne.
11 and to say to(wards) them Israel father their if so then this to make: do to take: take from best [the] land: country/planet in/on/with article/utensil your and to go down to/for man offering: gift little balsam and little honey tragacanth gum and myrrh pistachio and almond
Than their father Israel sayde vnto the Yf it must nedes be so now: than do thus take of the best frutes of the lande in youre vesselles and brynge the man a present a curtesie bawlme and a curtesie of hony spyces and myrre dates and almondes.
12 and silver: money second to take: take in/on/with hand: themselves your and [obj] [the] silver: money [the] to return: return in/on/with lip sack your to return: return in/on/with hand: themselves your perhaps mistake he/she/it
And take as moch money more with you. And the money that was brought agayne in youre sackes take it agayne with you in youre handes peraduenture it was some ouersyghte.
13 and [obj] brother: male-sibling your to take: take and to arise: rise to return: again to(wards) [the] man
Take also youre brother with you and aryse and goo agayne to the man.
14 and God Almighty to give: give to/for you compassion to/for face: before [the] man and to send: depart to/for you [obj] brother: male-sibling your another and [obj] Benjamin and I like/as as which be bereaved be bereaved
And God almightie geue you mercie in the sighte of the man and send you youre other brother and also Be Iamin and I wilbe as a ma robbed of his childern.
15 and to take: take [the] human [obj] [the] offering: gift [the] this and second silver: money to take: take in/on/with hand: to their and [obj] Benjamin and to arise: rise and to go down Egypt and to stand: stand to/for face: before Joseph
Thus toke they the present and twise so moch more money with them and Ben Iamin. And rose vp went downe to Egipte and presented them selfe to Ioseph.
16 and to see: see Joseph with them [obj] Benjamin and to say to/for which upon house: home his to come (in): bring [obj] [the] human [the] house: home [to] and to slaughter slaughter and to establish: prepare for with me to eat [the] human in/on/with midday
When Ioseph sawe Ben Iamin with them he sayde to the ruelar of his house: brynge these men home and sley and make redie: for they shall dyne with me at none.
17 and to make: do [the] man like/as as which to say Joseph and to come (in): bring [the] man [obj] [the] human house: home [to] Joseph
And the man dyd as Ioseph bad and brought them in to Iosephs house.
18 and to fear [the] human for to come (in): bring house: home Joseph and to say upon word: because [the] silver: money [the] to return: return in/on/with sack our in/on/with beginning we to come (in): bring to/for to roll upon us and to/for to fall: fall upon us and to/for to take: take [obj] us to/for servant/slave and [obj] donkey our
When they were brought to Iosephs house they were afrayde ad sayde: be cause of the money yt came in oure sackes mouthes at the first tyme are we brought to pyke a quarell with vs and to laye some thinge to oure charge: to brynge us in bondage and oure asses also.
19 and to approach: approach to(wards) [the] man which upon house: household Joseph and to speak: speak to(wards) him entrance [the] house: home
Therfore came they to the man that was the ruelar ouer Iosephs house and comened with him at the doore
20 and to say please lord my to go down to go down in/on/with beginning to/for to buy grain food
and sayde: Sir we came hither at the first tyme to bye foode
21 and to be for to come (in): come to(wards) [the] lodging and to open [emph?] [obj] sack our and behold silver: money man: anyone in/on/with lip sack his silver: money our in/on/with weight his and to return: again [obj] him in/on/with hand: themselves our
and as we came to an Inne and opened oure sackes: beholde euery mannes money was in his sacke with full weghte: But we haue broght it agene with us
22 and silver: money another to go down in/on/with hand: themselves our to/for to buy grain food not to know who? to set: put silver: money our in/on/with sack our
and other mony haue we brought also in oure handes to bye foode but we can not tell who put oure money in oure sackes.
23 and to say peace to/for you not to fear God your and God father your to give: put to/for you treasure in/on/with sack your silver: money your to come (in): come to(wards) me and to come out: send to(wards) them [obj] Simeon
And he sayde: be of good chere feare not: Youre God and the God of youre fathers hath put you that treasure in youre sackes for I had youre money. And he brought Simeon out to them
24 and to come (in): bring [the] man [obj] [the] human house: home [to] Joseph and to give: give water and to wash: wash foot their and to give: give fodder to/for donkey their
ad led the into Iosephs house and gaue the water to washe their fete and gaue their asses prauender:
25 and to establish: prepare [obj] [the] offering: gift till to come (in): come Joseph in/on/with midday for to hear: hear for there to eat food: bread
And they made redie their present agaynst Ioseph came at none for they herde saye that they shulde dyne there.
26 and to come (in): come Joseph [the] house: home [to] and to come (in): bring to/for him [obj] [the] offering: gift which in/on/with hand: to their [the] house: home [to] and to bow to/for him land: soil [to]
When Ioseph came home they brought the present in to the house to him which they had in their handes ad fell flat on the grounde befor him.
27 and to ask to/for them to/for peace: well-being and to say peace: well-being father your [the] old which to say still he alive
And he welcomed the curteously sainge: is youre father that old man which ye tolde me of in good health? and is he yet alyue?
28 and to say peace: well-being to/for servant/slave your to/for father our still he alive and to bow (and to bow *Q(K)*)
they answered: thy servaunte oure father is in good health ad is yet alyue. And they bowed them selues and fell to the grounde.
29 and to lift: look eye his and to see: see [obj] Benjamin brother: male-sibling his son: child mother his and to say this brother: male-sibling your [the] small: young which to say to(wards) me and to say God be gracious you son: child my
And he lyfte vp his eyes and behelde his brother Ben Iamin his mothers sonne and sayde: is this youre yongest brother of whome ye sayde vnto me? And sayde: God be mercyfull vnto ye my sonne.
30 and to hasten Joseph for to grow warm compassion his to(wards) brother: male-sibling his and to seek to/for to weep and to come (in): come [the] chamber [to] and to weep there [to]
And Ioseph made hast (for his hert dyd melt apon his brother) and soughte for to wepe and entred in to his chambre for to wepe there.
31 and to wash: wash face his and to come out: come and to refrain and to say to set: put food
And he wasshed his face and came out and refrayned himselfe and bad sett bread on the table
32 and to set: put to/for him to/for alone him and to/for them to/for alone them and to/for Egyptian [the] to eat with him to/for alone them for not be able [emph?] [the] Egyptian to/for to eat with [the] Hebrew food for abomination he/she/it to/for Egyptian
And they prepared for him by himselfe and for them by them selues and for the Egiptians which ate with him by them selues because the Egyptians may not eate bread with the Hebrues for that is an abhomynacyon vnto the Egiptians.
33 and to dwell to/for face: before his [the] firstborn like/as birthright his and [the] little like/as youth his and to astounded [the] human man: anyone to(wards) neighbor his
And they satt before him: the eldest acordynge vnto his age and the yongest acordyng vnto his youth. And the men marveled amonge them selves.
34 and to lift: bear tribute from with face: before his to(wards) them and to multiply tribute Benjamin from tribute all their five hand: times and to drink and be drunk with him
And they broughte rewardes vnto them from before him: but Ben Iamins parte was fyue tymes so moch as any of theirs. And they ate and they dronke and were dronke wyth him.
