Genesis 37
1 and to dwell Jacob in/on/with land: country/planet sojourning father his in/on/with land: country/planet Canaan
| وَسَكَنَ يَعْقُوبُ فِي أَرْضِ غُرْبَةِ أَبِيهِ، فِي أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ. | ١ |
2 these generation Jacob Joseph son: aged seven ten year to be to pasture with brother: male-sibling his in/on/with flock and he/she/it youth with son: aged Bilhah and with son: child Zilpah woman: wife father his and to come (in): bring Joseph [obj] slander their bad: harmful to(wards) father their
| هَذِهِ مَوَالِيدُ يَعْقُوبَ: يُوسُفُ إِذْ كَانَ ٱبْنَ سَبْعَ عَشَرَةَ سَنَةً، كَانَ يَرْعَى مَعَ إِخْوَتِهِ ٱلْغَنَمَ وَهُوَ غُلَامٌ عِنْدَ بَنِي بِلْهَةَ وَبَنِي زِلْفَةَ ٱمْرَأَتَيْ أَبِيهِ، وَأَتَى يُوسُفُ بِنَمِيمَتِهِمِ ٱلرَّدِيئَةِ إِلَى أَبِيهِمْ. | ٢ |
3 and Israel to love: lover [obj] Joseph from all son: child his for son: child extreme age he/she/it to/for him and to make to/for him tunic long-sleeved
| وَأَمَّا إِسْرَائِيلُ فَأَحَبَّ يُوسُفَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ سَائِرِ بَنِيهِ لِأَنَّهُ ٱبْنُ شَيْخُوخَتِهِ، فَصَنَعَ لَهُ قَمِيصًا مُلَوَّنًا. | ٣ |

| فَلَمَّا رَأَى إِخْوَتُهُ أَنَّ أَبَاهُمْ أَحَبَّهُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ إِخْوَتِهِ أَبْغَضُوهُ، وَلَمْ يَسْتَطِيعُوا أَنْ يُكَلِّمُوهُ بِسَلَامٍ. | ٤ |
5 and to dream Joseph dream and to tell to/for brother: male-sibling his and to add still to hate [obj] him
| وَحَلُمَ يُوسُفُ حُلْمًا وَأَخْبَرَ إِخْوَتَهُ، فَٱزْدَادُوا أَيْضًا بُغْضًا لَهُ. | ٥ |
6 and to say to(wards) them to hear: hear please [the] dream [the] this which to dream
| فَقَالَ لَهُمُ: «ٱسْمَعُوا هَذَا ٱلْحُلْمَ ٱلَّذِي حَلُمْتُ: | ٦ |

| فَهَا نَحْنُ حَازِمُونَ حُزَمًا فِي ٱلْحَقْلِ، وَإِذَا حُزْمَتِي قَامَتْ وَٱنْتَصَبَتْ، فَٱحْتَاطَتْ حُزَمُكُمْ وَسَجَدَتْ لِحُزْمَتِي». | ٧ |
8 and to say to/for him brother: male-sibling his to reign to reign upon us if to rule to rule in/on/with us and to add still to hate [obj] him upon dream his and upon word his
| فَقَالَ لَهُ إِخْوَتُهُ: «أَلَعَلَّكَ تَمْلِكُ عَلَيْنَا مُلْكًا أَمْ تَتَسَلَّطُ عَلَيْنَا تَسَلُّطًا؟» وَٱزْدَادُوا أَيْضًا بُغْضًا لَهُ مِنْ أَجْلِ أَحْلَامِهِ وَمِنْ أَجْلِ كَلَامِهِ. | ٨ |

| ثُمَّ حَلُمَ أَيْضًا حُلْمًا آخَرَ وَقَصَّهُ عَلَى إِخْوَتِهِ، فَقَالَ: «إِنِّي قَدْ حَلُمْتُ حُلْمًا أَيْضًا، وَإِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ وَأَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوْكَبًا سَاجِدَةٌ لِي». | ٩ |

| وَقَصَّهُ عَلَى أَبِيهِ وَعَلَى إِخْوَتِهِ، فَٱنْتَهَرَهُ أَبُوهُ وَقَالَ لَهُ: «مَا هَذَا ٱلْحُلْمُ ٱلَّذِي حَلُمْتَ؟ هَلْ نَأْتِي أَنَا وَأُمُّكَ وَإِخْوَتُكَ لِنَسْجُدَ لَكَ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ؟» | ١٠ |

| فَحَسَدَهُ إِخْوَتُهُ، وَأَمَّا أَبُوهُ فَحَفِظَ ٱلْأَمْرَ. | ١١ |

| وَمَضَى إِخْوَتُهُ لِيَرْعَوْا غَنَمَ أَبِيهِمْ عِنْدَ شَكِيمَ. | ١٢ |

| فَقَالَ إِسْرَائِيلُ لِيُوسُفَ: «أَلَيْسَ إِخْوَتُكَ يَرْعَوْنَ عِنْدَ شَكِيمَ؟ تَعَالَ فَأُرْسِلَكَ إِلَيْهِمْ». فَقَالَ لَهُ: «هَأَنَذَا». | ١٣ |

| فَقَالَ لَهُ: «ٱذْهَبِ ٱنْظُرْ سَلَامَةَ إِخْوَتِكَ وَسَلَامَةَ ٱلْغَنَمِ وَرُدَّ لِي خَبَرًا». فَأَرْسَلَهُ مِنْ وَطَاءِ حَبْرُونَ فَأَتَى إِلَى شَكِيمَ. | ١٤ |

| فَوَجَدَهُ رَجُلٌ وَإِذَا هُوَ ضَالٌّ فِي ٱلْحَقْلِ. فَسَأَلَهُ ٱلرَّجُلُ قَائِلًا: «مَاذَا تَطْلُبُ؟» | ١٥ |

| فَقَالَ: «أَنَا طَالِبٌ إِخْوَتِي. أَخْبِرْنِي «أَيْنَ يَرْعَوْنَ؟». | ١٦ |

| فَقَالَ ٱلرَّجُلُ: «قَدِ ٱرْتَحَلُوا مِنْ هُنَا، لِأَنِّي سَمِعْتُهُمْ يَقُولُونَ: لِنَذْهَبْ إِلَى دُوثَانَ». فَذَهَبَ يُوسُفُ وَرَاءَ إِخْوَتِهِ فَوَجَدَهُمْ فِي دُوثَانَ. | ١٧ |

| فَلَمَّا أَبْصَرُوهُ مِنْ بَعِيدٍ، قَبْلَمَا ٱقْتَرَبَ إِلَيْهِمِ، ٱحْتَالُوا لَهُ لِيُمِيتُوهُ. | ١٨ |

| فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ: «هُوَذَا هَذَا صَاحِبُ ٱلْأَحْلَامِ قَادِمٌ. | ١٩ |

| فَٱلْآنَ هَلُمَّ نَقْتُلْهُ وَنَطْرَحْهُ فِي إِحْدَى ٱلْآبَارِ وَنَقُولُ: وَحْشٌ رَدِيءٌ أَكَلَهُ. فَنَرَى مَاذَا تَكُونُ أَحْلَامُهُ». | ٢٠ |

| فَسَمِعَ رَأُوبَيْنُ وَأَنْقَذَهُ مِنْ أَيْدِيهِمْ، وَقَالَ: «لَا نَقْتُلُهُ». | ٢١ |

| وَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَأُوبَيْنُ: «لَا تَسْفِكُوا دَمًا. اِطْرَحُوهُ فِي هَذِهِ ٱلْبِئْرِ ٱلَّتِي فِي ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ وَلَا تَمُدُّوا إِلَيْهِ يَدًا». لِكَيْ يُنْقِذَهُ مِنْ أَيْدِيهِمْ لِيَرُدَّهُ إِلَى أَبِيهِ. | ٢٢ |

| فَكَانَ لَمَّا جَاءَ يُوسُفُ إِلَى إِخْوَتِهِ أَنَّهُمْ خَلَعُوا عَنْ يُوسُفَ قَمِيصَهُ، ٱلْقَمِيصَ ٱلْمُلَوَّنَ ٱلَّذِي عَلَيْهِ، | ٢٣ |

| وَأَخَذُوهُ وَطَرَحُوهُ فِي ٱلْبِئْرِ. وَأَمَّا ٱلْبِئْرُ فَكَانَتْ فَارِغَةً لَيْسَ فِيهَا مَاءٌ. | ٢٤ |

| ثُمَّ جَلَسُوا لِيَأْكُلُوا طَعَامًا. فَرَفَعُوا عُيُونَهُمْ وَنَظَرُوا وَإِذَا قَافِلَةُ إِسْمَاعِيلِيِّينَ مُقْبِلَةٌ مِنْ جِلْعَادَ، وَجِمَالُهُمْ حَامِلَةٌ كَثِيرَاءَ وَبَلَسَانًا وَلَاذَنًا، ذَاهِبِينَ لِيَنْزِلُوا بِهَا إِلَى مِصْرَ. | ٢٥ |

| فَقَالَ يَهُوذَا لِإِخْوَتِهِ: «مَا ٱلْفَائِدَةُ أَنْ نَقْتُلَ أَخَانَا وَنُخْفِيَ دَمَهُ؟ | ٢٦ |

| وَٱجْتَازَ رِجَالٌ مِدْيَانِيُّونَ تُجَّارٌ، فَسَحَبُوا يُوسُفَ وَأَصْعَدُوهُ مِنَ ٱلْبِئْرِ، وَبَاعُوا يُوسُفَ لِلْإِسْمَاعِيلِيِّينَ بِعِشْرِينَ مِنَ ٱلْفِضَّةِ. فَأَتَوْا بِيُوسُفَ إِلَى مِصْرَ. | ٢٨ |

| وَرَجَعَ رَأُوبَيْنُ إِلَى ٱلْبِئْرِ، وَإِذَا يُوسُفُ لَيْسَ فِي ٱلْبِئْرِ، فَمَزَّقَ ثِيَابَهُ. | ٢٩ |
30 and to return: return to(wards) brother: male-sibling his and to say [the] youth nothing he and I where? I to come (in): come
| ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى إِخْوَتِهِ وَقَالَ: «ٱلْوَلَدُ لَيْسَ مَوْجُودًا، وَأَنَا إِلَى أَيْنَ أَذْهَبُ؟». | ٣٠ |
31 and to take: take [obj] tunic Joseph and to slaughter he-goat goat and to dip [obj] [the] tunic in/on/with blood
| فَأَخَذُوا قَمِيصَ يُوسُفَ وَذَبَحُوا تَيْسًا مِنَ ٱلْمِعْزَى وَغَمَسُوا ٱلْقَمِيصَ فِي ٱلدَّمِ. | ٣١ |
32 and to send: depart [obj] tunic [the] long-sleeved and to come (in): bring to(wards) father their and to say this to find to recognize please tunic son: child your he/she/it if not
| وَأَرْسَلُوا ٱلْقَمِيصَ ٱلْمُلَوَّنَ وَأَحْضَرُوهُ إِلَى أَبِيهِمْ وَقَالُوا: «وَجَدْنَا هَذَا. حَقِّقْ أَقَمِيصُ ٱبْنِكَ هُوَ أَمْ لَا؟». | ٣٢ |
33 and to recognize her and to say tunic son: child my living thing bad: harmful to eat him to tear to tear Joseph
| فَتَحَقَّقَهُ وَقَالَ: «قَمِيصُ ٱبْنِي! وَحْشٌ رَدِيءٌ أَكَلَهُ، ٱفْتُرِسَ يُوسُفُ ٱفْتِرَاسًا». | ٣٣ |

| فَمَزَّقَ يَعْقُوبُ ثِيَابَهُ، وَوَضَعَ مِسْحًا عَلَى حَقَوَيْهِ، وَنَاحَ عَلَى ٱبْنِهِ أَيَّامًا كَثِيرَةً. | ٣٤ |

| فَقَامَ جَمِيعُ بَنِيهِ وَجَمِيعُ بَنَاتِهِ لِيُعَزُّوهُ، فَأَبَى أَنْ يَتَعَزَّى وَقَالَ: «إِنِّي أَنْزِلُ إِلَى ٱبْنِي نَائِحًا إِلَى ٱلْهَاوِيَةِ». وَبَكَى عَلَيْهِ أَبُوهُ. (Sheol h7585) | ٣٥ |

| وَأَمَّا ٱلْمِدْيَانِيُّونَ فَبَاعُوهُ فِي مِصْرَ لِفُوطِيفَارَ خَصِيِّ فِرْعَوْنَ، رَئِيسِ ٱلشُّرَطِ. | ٣٦ |
