< Genesis 31 >

1 and to hear: hear [obj] word: thing son: child Laban to/for to say to take: take Jacob [obj] all which to/for father our and from whence to/for father our to make: offer [obj] all [the] glory [the] this
And Iacob herde the wordes of Labas sonnes how they sayde: Iacob hath take awaye all that was oure fathers and of oure fathers goodes hath he gote all this honoure.
2 and to see: see Jacob [obj] face of Laban and behold nothing he with him like/as yesterday three days ago
And Iacob behelde the countenauce of Laban that it was not toward him as it was in tymes past.
3 and to say LORD to(wards) Jacob to return: return to(wards) land: country/planet father your and to/for relatives your and to be with you
And the LORde sayde vnto Iacob: turne agayne in to the lade of thy fathers and to thy kynred and I wilbe with ye.
4 and to send: depart Jacob and to call: call to to/for Rachel and to/for Leah [the] land: country to(wards) flock his
Tha Iacob sent and called Rahel and Lea to the felde vnto his shepe
5 and to say to/for them to see: see I [obj] face: before father your for nothing he to(wards) me like/as yesterday three days ago and God father my to be with me me
and sayde vnto the: I se youre fathers countenauce yt it is not toward me as in tymes past. Morouer ye God of my father hath bene with me.
6 and you(f. p.) to know for in/on/with all strength my to serve [obj] father your
And ye knowe how that I haue serued youre father with all my myghte.
7 and father your to deceive in/on/with me and to pass [obj] wage my ten time and not to give: allow him God to/for be evil with me me
And youre father hath disceaued me and chaunged my wages. x. tymes: But God suffred him not to hurte me.
8 if thus to say speckled to be wages your and to beget all [the] flock speckled and if thus to say striped to be wages your and to beget all [the] flock striped
When he sayde the spotted shalbe thy wages tha all the shepe barespotted. Yf he sayde the straked shalbe thi rewarde tha bare all the shepe straked:
9 and to rescue God [obj] livestock father your and to give: give to/for me
thus hath God take awaye youre fathers catell and geue the me.
10 and to be in/on/with time to conceive [the] flock and to lift: look eye my and to see: see in/on/with dream and behold [the] goat [the] to ascend: copulate upon [the] flock striped speckled and spotted
For in buckynge tyme I lifted vp myne eyes and sawe in a dreame: and beholde the rammes that bucked the shepe were straked spotted and partie.
11 and to say to(wards) me messenger: angel [the] God in/on/with dream Jacob and to say behold I
And the angell of God spake vnto me in a dreame saynge: Iacob. And I answered: here am I.
12 and to say to lift: look please eye your and to see: see all [the] goat [the] to ascend: copulate upon [the] flock striped speckled and spotted for to see: see [obj] all which Laban to make: do to/for you
And he sayde: lyfte vp thyne eyes ad see how all therames that leape vpon the shepe are straked spotted and partie: for I haue sene all that Laban doth vnto ye.
13 I [the] God Bethel Bethel which to anoint there pillar which to vow to/for me there vow now to arise: rise to come out: come from [the] land: country/planet [the] this and to return: return to(wards) land: country/planet relatives your
I am ye god of Bethell where thou anoynteddest the stone ad where thou vowdest a vowe vnto me. Now aryse and gett the out of this countre ad returne vnto the lade where thou wast borne.
14 and to answer Rachel and Leah and to say to/for him still to/for us portion and inheritance in/on/with house: household father our
Than answered Rahel and Lea and sayde vnto him: we haue no parte nor enheritaunce in oure fathers house
15 not foreign to devise: count to/for him for to sell us and to eat also to eat [obj] silver: money our
he cownteth us eue as straungers for he hath solde vs and hath euen eaten vp the price of vs.
16 for all [the] riches which to rescue God from father our to/for us he/she/it and to/for son: child our and now all which to say God to(wards) you to make: do
Moreouer all the riches which God hath take from oure father that is oures and oure childerns. Now therfore what soeuer God hath sayde vnto the that doo.
17 and to arise: rise Jacob and to lift: raise [obj] son: child his and [obj] woman: wife his upon [the] camel
Tha Iacob rose vp and sett his sones and wiues vp vpon camels
18 and to lead [obj] all livestock his and [obj] all property his which to gather livestock acquisition his which to gather in/on/with Paddan (Paddan)-aram to/for to come (in): come to(wards) Isaac father his land: country/planet [to] Canaan
and caried away all his catell and all his substace which he had gotte in Mesopotamia for to goo to Isaac his father vnto the lade of Canaan.
19 and Laban to go: went to/for to shear [obj] flock his and to steal Rachel [obj] [the] teraphim which to/for father her
Laba was gone to shere his shepe and Rahel had stolle hir fathers ymages.
20 and to steal Jacob [obj] heart Laban [the] Aramean upon without to tell to/for him for to flee he/she/it
And Iacob went awaye vnknowynge to Laban the Sirie and tolde him not yt he fled.
21 and to flee he/she/it and all which to/for him and to arise: rise and to pass [obj] [the] River and to set: make [obj] face of his mountain: hill country [the] Gilead
So fled he and all yt he had and made him self redy and passed ouer the ryuers and sett his face streyght towarde the mounte Gilead.
22 and to tell to/for Laban in/on/with day [the] third for to flee Jacob
Apo the thirde day after was it tolde Laba yt Iacob was fled.
23 and to take: take [obj] brother: male-relative his with him and to pursue after him way: journey seven day and to cleave [obj] him in/on/with mountain: hill country [the] Gilead
Tha he toke his brethre with him and folowed after him. vij. dayes iourney and ouer toke him at the mounte Gilead.
24 and to come (in): come God to(wards) Laban [the] Aramean in/on/with dream [the] night and to say to/for him to keep: careful to/for you lest to speak: speak with Jacob from pleasant till bad: harmful
And God came to Laba the Siria in a dreame by nyghte and sayde vnto him: take hede to thi selfe that thou speake not to Iacob oughte save good.
25 and to overtake Laban [obj] Jacob and Jacob to blow [obj] tent his in/on/with mountain: hill country and Laban to blow with brother: male-relative his in/on/with mountain: hill country [the] Gilead
And Laba ouer toke Iacob: and Iacob had pitched his tete in yt mounte. And Laban with his brethern pitched their tete also apon the mounte Gilead.
26 and to say Laban to/for Jacob what? to make: do and to steal [obj] heart my and to lead [obj] daughter my like/as to take captive sword
Than sayde Laba to Iacob: why hast thou this done vnknowynge to me and hast caried awaye my doughters as though they had bene take captyue with swerde?
27 to/for what? to hide to/for to flee and to steal [obj] me and not to tell to/for me and to send: depart you in/on/with joy and in/on/with song in/on/with tambourine and in/on/with lyre
Wherfore wentest thou awaye secretly vnknowne to me and didest not tell me yt I myghte haue broughte yt on the waye with myrth syngynge tymrells and harppes
28 and not to leave me to/for to kiss to/for son: descendant/people my and to/for daughter my now be foolish to make: do
and hast not suffred me to kysse my childern and my doughters. Thou wast a fole to do
29 there to/for god: power hand: power my to/for to make: do with you bad: evil and God father your last night to say to(wards) me to/for to say to keep: careful to/for you from to speak: speak with Jacob from pleasant till bad: harmful
it for I am able to do you evell. But the God of youre father spake vnto me yesterdaye saynge take hede tha thou speake not to Iacob oughte saue goode.
30 and now to go: went to go: went for to long to long to/for house: household father your to/for what? to steal [obj] God my
And now though thou wetest thi waye because thou logest after thi fathers house yet wherfore hast thou stollen my goddes?
31 and to answer Jacob and to say to/for Laban for to fear for to say lest to plunder [obj] daughter your from from with me
Iacob answered and sayde to Laba: because I was afrayed and thought that thou woldest haue take awaye thy doughters fro me.
32 with which to find [obj] God your not to live before brother: male-relative our to recognize to/for you what? with me me and to take: take to/for you and not to know Jacob for Rachel to steal them
But with whome soeuer thou fyndest thy goddes let him dye here before oure brethre. Seke that thine is by me and take it to the: for Iacob wist not that Rahel had stolle the.
33 and to come (in): come Laban in/on/with tent Jacob and in/on/with tent Leah and in/on/with tent two [the] maidservant and not to find and to come out: come from tent Leah and to come (in): come in/on/with tent Rachel
Tha wet Laba in to Iacobs tete and in to Leas tete and in to. ij. maydens tentes: but fownde the not. Tha wet he out of Leas tete and entred in to Rahels tete.
34 and Rachel to take: take [obj] [the] teraphim and to set: put them in/on/with saddle [the] camel and to dwell upon them and to feel Laban [obj] all [the] tent and not to find
And Rahel toke the ymages and put them in the camels strawe and sate doune apo the. And Laba serched all the tete: but fownde the not.
35 and to say to(wards) father her not to be incensed in/on/with eye: appearance lord my for not be able to/for to arise: rise from face: before your for way: conduct woman to/for me and to search and not to find [obj] [the] teraphim
Tha sayde she to hir father: my lorde be not angrye yt I ca not ryse vp before the for the disease of weme is come apon me. So searched he but foude the not.
36 and to be incensed to/for Jacob and to contend in/on/with Laban and to answer Jacob and to say to/for Laban what? transgression my what? sin my for to burn/pursue after me
Iacob was wrooth and chode with Laba: Iacob also answered and sayde to him: what haue I trespaced or what haue I offended that thou foloweddest after me?
37 for to feel [obj] all article/utensil my what? to find from all article/utensil house: household your to set: make thus before brother: male-relative my and brother: male-relative your and to rebuke between two our
Thou hast searched all my stuffe and what hast thou founde of all thy housholde stuffe? put it here before thi brethern and myne and let the iudge betwyxte vs both.
38 this twenty year I with you ewe your and goat your not be bereaved and ram flock your not to eat
This xx. yere yt I haue bene wyth the thy shepe and thy gootes haue not bene baren and the rammes of thi flocke haue I not eate.
39 torn animal not to come (in): bring to(wards) you I to sin her from hand my to seek her to steal day and to steal night
What soeuer was torne of beastes I broughte it not vnto ye but made it good mysilf: of my hade dydest thou requyre it whether it was stollen by daye or nyghte
40 to be in/on/with day to eat me drought and ice in/on/with night and to wander sleep my from eye my
Moreouer by daye the hete consumed me and the colde by nyghte and my slepe departed fro myne eyes.
41 this to/for me twenty year in/on/with house: household your to serve you four ten year in/on/with two daughter your and six year in/on/with flock your and to pass [obj] wage my ten time
Thus haue I bene. xx. yere in thi house and serued the. xiiij. yeres forthy. ij. doughters and vi. yere for thi shepe and thou hast changed my rewarde. x. tymes.
42 unless God father my God Abraham and dread Isaac to be to/for me for now emptily to send: depart me [obj] affliction my and [obj] (toil *LB(ah)*) palm my to see: see God and to rebuke last night
And excepte the God of my father the God of Abraha and the God whome Isaac feareth had bene with me: surely thou haddest sent me awaye now all emptie. But God behelde my tribulation and the laboure of my handes: and rebuked the yester daye.
43 and to answer Laban and to say to(wards) Jacob [the] daughter daughter my and [the] son: child son: child my and [the] flock flock my and all which you(m. s.) to see: see to/for me he/she/it and to/for daughter my what? to make: do to/for these [the] day: today or to/for son: child their which to beget
Laban answered ad sayde vnto Iacob: the doughters are my doughters and the childern ar my childern and the shepe are my shepe ad all that thou seist is myne. And what can I do this daye vnto these my doughters or vnto their childern which they haue borne?
44 and now to go: come! [emph?] to cut: make(covenant) covenant I and you(m. s.) and to be to/for witness between me and between you
Now therfore come on let us make a bonde I and thou together and let it be a wytnesse betwene the and me.
45 and to take: take Jacob stone and to exalt her pillar
Than toke Iacob a stone and sett it vp an ende
46 and to say Jacob to/for brother: male-relative his to gather stone and to take: take stone and to make heap and to eat there upon [the] heap
ad sayde vnto his brethern gather stoones And they toke stoones ad made an heape and they ate there vpo the heape.
47 and to call: call by to/for him Laban Jegar (Ramoth)-sahadutha and Jacob to call: call by to/for him Galeed
And Laba called it Iegar Sahadutha but Iacob called it Gylead.
48 and to say Laban [the] heap [the] this witness between me and between you [the] day upon so (to call: call by *LA(bh)*) name his Galeed
Than sayde Laban: this heape be witnesse betwene the and me this daye (therfore is it called Gilead)
49 and [the] Mizpah which to say to watch LORD between me and between you for to hide man: anyone from neighbor his
and this totehill which the lorde seeth (sayde he) be wytnesse betwene me and the when we are departed one from a nother:
50 if to afflict [obj] daughter my and if to take: marry woman: wife upon daughter my nothing man: anyone with us to see: see God witness between me and between you
that thou shalt not vexe my doughters nether shalt take other wyves vnto them. Here is no man with vs: beholde God is wytnesse betwixte the and me.
51 and to say Laban to/for Jacob behold [the] heap [the] this and behold [the] pillar which to show between me and between you
And Laban sayde moreouer to Iacob: beholde this heape and this marke which I haue sett here betwyxte me and the:
52 witness [the] heap [the] this and witness [the] pillar if: surely yes I not to pass to(wards) you [obj] [the] heap [the] this and if: surely yes you(m. s.) not to pass to(wards) me [obj] [the] heap [the] this and [obj] [the] pillar [the] this to/for distress: harm
this heape be wytnesse and also this marcke that I will not come ouer this heape to the ad thou shalt not come ouer this heape ad this marke to do any harme.
53 God Abraham and God Nahor to judge between us God father their and to swear Jacob in/on/with dread father his Isaac
The God of Abraham the God of Nahor and the God of theyr fathers be iudge betwixte vs. And Iacob sware by him that his father Isaac feared.
54 and to sacrifice Jacob sacrifice in/on/with mountain: hill country and to call: call to to/for brother: male-relative his to/for to eat food: bread and to eat food: bread and to lodge in/on/with mountain: hill country
Then Iacob dyd sacrifyce vpon the mounte and called his brethern to eate breed. And they ate breed and taried all nyghte in the hyll.
55 and to rise Laban in/on/with morning and to kiss to/for son: descendant/people his and to/for daughter his and to bless [obj] them and to go: went and to return: return Laban to/for place his
And early in the mornynge Laban rose vp and kyssed his childern and his doughters and blessed the and departed and wet vnto his place agayne.
