Genesis 26

१उस देश में अकाल पड़ा, वह उस पहले अकाल से अलग था जो अब्राहम के दिनों में पड़ा था। इसलिए इसहाक गरार को पलिश्तियों के राजा अबीमेलेक के पास गया।

२वहाँ यहोवा ने उसको दर्शन देकर कहा, “मिस्र में मत जा; जो देश मैं तुझे बताऊँ उसी में रह।
3 to sojourn in/on/with land: country/planet [the] this and to be with you and to bless you for to/for you and to/for seed: children your to give: give [obj] all [the] land: country/planet [the] these and to arise: establish [obj] [the] oath which to swear to/for Abraham father your
३तू इसी देश में रह, और मैं तेरे संग रहूँगा, और तुझे आशीष दूँगा; और ये सब देश मैं तुझको, और तेरे वंश को दूँगा; और जो शपथ मैंने तेरे पिता अब्राहम से खाई थी, उसे मैं पूरी करूँगा।
4 and to multiply [obj] seed: children your like/as star [the] heaven and to give: give to/for seed: children your [obj] all [the] land: country/planet [the] these and to bless in/on/with seed: children your all nation [the] land: country/planet
४और मैं तेरे वंश को आकाश के तारागण के समान करूँगा; और मैं तेरे वंश को ये सब देश दूँगा, और पृथ्वी की सारी जातियाँ तेरे वंश के कारण अपने को धन्य मानेंगी।

५क्योंकि अब्राहम ने मेरी मानी, और जो मैंने उसे सौंपा था उसको और मेरी आज्ञाओं, विधियों और व्यवस्था का पालन किया।”

६इसलिए इसहाक गरार में रह गया।

७जब उस स्थान के लोगों ने उसकी पत्नी के विषय में पूछा, तब उसने यह सोचकर कि यदि मैं उसको अपनी पत्नी कहूँ, तो यहाँ के लोग रिबका के कारण जो परम सुन्दरी है मुझ को मार डालेंगे, उत्तर दिया, “वह तो मेरी बहन है।”

८जब उसको वहाँ रहते बहुत दिन बीत गए, तब एक दिन पलिश्तियों के राजा अबीमेलेक ने खिड़की में से झाँककर क्या देखा कि इसहाक अपनी पत्नी रिबका के साथ क्रीड़ा कर रहा है।

९तब अबीमेलेक ने इसहाक को बुलवाकर कहा, “वह तो निश्चय तेरी पत्नी है; फिर तूने क्यों उसको अपनी बहन कहा?” इसहाक ने उत्तर दिया, “मैंने सोचा था, कि ऐसा न हो कि उसके कारण मेरी मृत्यु हो।”

१०अबीमेलेक ने कहा, “तूने हम से यह क्या किया? ऐसे तो प्रजा में से कोई तेरी पत्नी के साथ सहज से कुकर्म कर सकता, और तू हमको पाप में फँसाता।”
11 and to command Abimelech [obj] all [the] people to/for to say [the] to touch in/on/with man [the] this and in/on/with woman: wife his to die to die
११इसलिए अबीमेलेक ने अपनी सारी प्रजा को आज्ञा दी, “जो कोई उस पुरुष को या उस स्त्री को छूएगा, वह निश्चय मार डाला जाएगा।”
12 and to sow Isaac in/on/with land: country/planet [the] he/she/it and to find in/on/with year [the] he/she/it hundred hundredfold and to bless him LORD
१२फिर इसहाक ने उस देश में जोता बोया, और उसी वर्ष में सौ गुणा फल पाया; और यहोवा ने उसको आशीष दी,
13 and to magnify [the] man and to go: continue to go: continue and growing till for to magnify much
१३और वह बढ़ा और उसकी उन्नति होती चली गई, यहाँ तक कि वह बहुत धनी पुरुष हो गया।
14 and to be to/for him livestock flock and livestock cattle and service many and be jealous [obj] him Philistine
१४जब उसके भेड़-बकरी, गाय-बैल, और बहुत से दास-दासियाँ हुईं, तब पलिश्ती उससे डाह करने लगे।
15 and all [the] well which to search servant/slave father his in/on/with day Abraham father his to close them Philistine and to fill them dust
१५इसलिए जितने कुओं को उसके पिता अब्राहम के दासों ने अब्राहम के जीते जी खोदा था, उनको पलिश्तियों ने मिट्टी से भर दिया।
16 and to say Abimelech to(wards) Isaac to go: went from from with us for be vast from us much
१६तब अबीमेलेक ने इसहाक से कहा, “हमारे पास से चला जा; क्योंकि तू हम से बहुत सामर्थी हो गया है।”
17 and to go: went from there Isaac and to camp in/on/with torrent: valley Gerar and to dwell there
१७अतः इसहाक वहाँ से चला गया, और गरार की घाटी में अपना तम्बू खड़ा करके वहाँ रहने लगा।
18 and to return: again Isaac and to search [obj] well [the] water which to search in/on/with day Abraham father his and to close them Philistine after death Abraham and to call: call by to/for them name like/as name which to call: call by to/for them father his
१८तब जो कुएँ उसके पिता अब्राहम के दिनों में खोदे गए थे, और अब्राहम के मरने के पीछे पलिश्तियों ने भर दिए थे, उनको इसहाक ने फिर से खुदवाया; और उनके वे ही नाम रखे, जो उसके पिता ने रखे थे।
19 and to search servant/slave Isaac in/on/with torrent: valley and to find there well water alive
१९फिर इसहाक के दासों को घाटी में खोदते-खोदते बहते जल का एक सोता मिला।
20 and to contend to pasture Gerar with to pasture Isaac to/for to say to/for us [the] water and to call: call by name [the] well Esek for to contend with him
२०तब गरार के चरवाहों ने इसहाक के चरवाहों से झगड़ा किया, और कहा, “यह जल हमारा है।” इसलिए उसने उस कुएँ का नाम एसेक रखा; क्योंकि वे उससे झगड़े थे।

२१फिर उन्होंने दूसरा कुआँ खोदा; और उन्होंने उसके लिये भी झगड़ा किया, इसलिए उसने उसका नाम सित्ना रखा।
22 and to proceed from there and to search well another and not to contend upon her and to call: call by name her Rehoboth and to say for now to enlarge LORD to/for us and be fruitful in/on/with land: country/planet
२२तब उसने वहाँ से निकलकर एक और कुआँ खुदवाया; और उसके लिये उन्होंने झगड़ा न किया; इसलिए उसने उसका नाम यह कहकर रहोबोत रखा, “अब तो यहोवा ने हमारे लिये बहुत स्थान दिया है, और हम इस देश में फूले-फलेंगे।”
23 and to ascend: rise from there Beersheba Beersheba
२३वहाँ से वह बेर्शेबा को गया।
24 and to see: see to(wards) him LORD in/on/with night [the] he/she/it and to say I God Abraham father your not to fear for with you I and to bless you and to multiply [obj] seed: children your in/on/with for the sake of Abraham servant/slave my
२४और उसी दिन यहोवा ने रात को उसे दर्शन देकर कहा, “मैं तेरे पिता अब्राहम का परमेश्वर हूँ; मत डर, क्योंकि मैं तेरे साथ हूँ, और अपने दास अब्राहम के कारण तुझे आशीष दूँगा, और तेरा वंश बढ़ाऊँगा।”
25 and to build there altar and to call: call to in/on/with name LORD and to stretch there tent his and to pierce there servant/slave Isaac well
२५तब उसने वहाँ एक वेदी बनाई, और यहोवा से प्रार्थना की, और अपना तम्बू वहीं खड़ा किया; और वहाँ इसहाक के दासों ने एक कुआँ खोदा।
26 and Abimelech to go: went to(wards) him from Gerar and Ahuzzath companion his and Phicol ruler army his
२६तब अबीमेलेक अपने सलाहकार अहुज्जत, और अपने सेनापति पीकोल को संग लेकर, गरार से उसके पास गया।
27 and to say to(wards) them Isaac why? to come (in): come to(wards) me and you(m. p.) to hate [obj] me and to send: depart me from with you
२७इसहाक ने उनसे कहा, “तुम ने मुझसे बैर करके अपने बीच से निकाल दिया था, अब मेरे पास क्यों आए हो?”
28 and to say to see: see to see: see for to be LORD with you and to say to be please oath between us between us and between you and to cut: make(covenant) covenant with you
२८उन्होंने कहा, “हमने तो प्रत्यक्ष देखा है, कि यहोवा तेरे साथ रहता है; इसलिए हमने सोचा, कि तू तो यहोवा की ओर से धन्य है, अतः हमारे तेरे बीच में शपथ खाई जाए, और हम तुझ से इस विषय की वाचा बन्धाएँ;
29 if: surely yes to make: do with us distress: harm like/as as which not to touch you and like/as as which to make: do with you except good and to send: depart you in/on/with peace you(m. s.) now to bless LORD
२९कि जैसे हमने तुझे नहीं छुआ, वरन् तेरे साथ केवल भलाई ही की है, और तुझको कुशल क्षेम से विदा किया, उसके अनुसार तू भी हम से कोई बुराई न करेगा।”
30 and to make to/for them feast and to eat and to drink
३०तब उसने उनको भोज दिया, और उन्होंने खाया-पिया।
31 and to rise in/on/with morning and to swear man: anyone to/for brother: male-sibling his and to send: depart them Isaac and to go: went from with him in/on/with peace
३१सवेरे उन सभी ने तड़के उठकर आपस में शपथ खाई; तब इसहाक ने उनको विदा किया, और वे कुशल क्षेम से उसके पास से चले गए।
32 and to be in/on/with day [the] he/she/it and to come (in): come servant/slave Isaac and to tell to/for him upon because [the] well which to search and to say to/for him to find water
३२उसी दिन इसहाक के दासों ने आकर अपने उस खोदे हुए कुएँ का वृत्तान्त सुनाकर कहा, “हमको जल का एक सोता मिला है।”
33 and to call: call by [obj] her Shibah upon so name [the] city Beersheba Beersheba till [the] day: today [the] this
३३तब उसने उसका नाम शिबा रखा; इसी कारण उस नगर का नाम आज तक बेर्शेबा पड़ा है।
34 and to be Esau son: aged forty year and to take: marry woman: wife [obj] Judith daughter Beeri [the] Hittite and [obj] Basemath daughter Elon [the] Hittite
३४जब एसाव चालीस वर्ष का हुआ, तब उसने हित्ती बेरी की बेटी यहूदीत, और हित्ती एलोन की बेटी बासमत को ब्याह लिया;

३५और इन स्त्रियों के कारण इसहाक और रिबका के मन को खेद हुआ।
