Genesis 19
1 and to come (in): come two [the] messenger: angel Sodom [to] in/on/with evening and Lot to dwell in/on/with gate Sodom and to see: see Lot and to arise: rise to/for to encounter: meet them and to bow face land: soil [to]
੧ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਦੂਤ ਸਦੂਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਲੂਤ ਸਦੂਮ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਲੂਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੱਕ ਝੁਕਾਇਆ।
2 and to say behold please lord my to turn aside: turn aside please to(wards) house: home servant/slave your and to lodge and to wash: wash foot your and to rise (and to go: went *LAH(b)*) to/for way: journey your and to say not for in/on/with street/plaza to lodge
੨ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂਓ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜੋ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਠਹਿਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰ ਧੋਵੋ, ਫੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤੜਕੇ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਣਾ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਨਹੀਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਚੌਂਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਤ ਕੱਟਾਂਗੇ।
3 and to press in/on/with them much and to turn aside: turn aside to(wards) him and to come (in): come to(wards) house: home his and to make to/for them feast and unleavened bread to bake and to eat
੩ਜਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਿੰਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਓਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਤੀਰੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਪਕਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਖਾਧੀ।
4 before to lie down: lay down and human [the] city human Sodom to turn: surround upon [the] house: home from youth and till old all [the] people from end
੪ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੰਮੇ ਪੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਸਦੂਮ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੀ ਜਵਾਨ, ਕੀ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਚਾਰੇ ਪਾਸਿਓਂ ਉਸ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ।
5 and to call: call out to(wards) Lot and to say to/for him where? [the] human which to come (in): come to(wards) you [the] night to come out: send them to(wards) us and to know [obj] them
੫ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਓਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਅੱਜ ਰਾਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਹਨ? ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਗ ਕਰੀਏ।
6 and to come out: come to(wards) them Lot [the] entrance [to] and [the] door to shut after him
੬ਤਦ ਲੂਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
7 and to say not please brother: male-sibling my be evil
੭ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ, ਇਹ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ।
8 behold please to/for me two daughter which not to know man to come out: send please [obj] them to(wards) you and to make: do to/for them like/as pleasant in/on/with eye: appearance your except to/for human [the] these not to make: do word: thing for as that: since as as to come (in): come in/on/with shadow beam my
੮ਵੇਖੋ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਧੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ । ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰੋ, ਪਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਓਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਛੱਤ ਹੇਠ ਆਏ ਹਨ।
9 and to say to approach: approach further and to say [the] one to come (in): come to/for to sojourn and to judge to judge now be evil to/for you from them and to press in/on/with man in/on/with Lot much and to approach: approach to/for to break [the] door
੯ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਪਿੱਛੇ ਹੱਟ ਜਾ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਆਖਿਆ ਇਹ ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ, ਹੁਣ ਨਿਆਈਂ ਬਣ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ। ਫੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਤੰਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਨਣ ਲਈ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਏ।
10 and to send: reach [the] human [obj] hand their and to come (in): bring [obj] Lot to(wards) them [the] house: home [to] and [obj] [the] door to shut
੧੦ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਲੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
11 and [obj] [the] human which entrance [the] house: home to smite in/on/with blindness from small and till great: large and be weary to/for to find [the] entrance
੧੧ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬੂਹੇ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਕੀ ਛੋਟਾ ਕੀ ਵੱਡਾ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਲੱਭਦੇ-ਲੱਭਦੇ ਥੱਕ ਗਏ।
12 and to say [the] human to(wards) Lot still who? to/for you here son-in-law and son: child your and daughter your and all which to/for you in/on/with city to come out: send from [the] place
੧੨ਤਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਇੱਥੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੋਰ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਆਪਣੇ ਜਵਾਈਆਂ, ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ, ਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜੋ ਤੇਰਾ ਇਸ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਜਾ।
13 for to ruin we [obj] [the] place [the] this for to magnify cry their with face: before LORD and to send: depart us LORD to/for to ruin her
੧੩ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਧ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ।
14 and to come out: come Lot and to speak: speak to(wards) son-in-law his to take: marry daughter his and to say to arise: rise to come out: come from [the] place [the] this for to ruin LORD [obj] [the] city and to be like/as to laugh in/on/with eye: appearance son-in-law his
੧੪ਉਪਰੰਤ ਲੂਤ ਨੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਵਾਈਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਉੱਠੋ ਇਸ ਨਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਜਾਓ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਨਗਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਵਾਈਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਜ਼ਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਖ਼ੌਲੀਆ ਜਿਹਾ ਜਾਪਿਆ।
15 and like [the] dawn to ascend: dawn and to hasten [the] messenger: angel in/on/with Lot to/for to say to arise: rise to take: take [obj] woman: wife your and [obj] two daughter your [the] to find lest to snatch in/on/with iniquity: punishment [the] city
੧੫ਜਦ ਸਵੇਰ ਹੋਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਛੇਤੀ ਕਰਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਉੱਠ, ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਹਨ ਲੈ ਜਾ, ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਸਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਂ।
16 and to delay and to strengthen: hold [the] human in/on/with hand his and in/on/with hand woman: wife his and in/on/with hand two daughter his in/on/with compassion LORD upon him and to come out: send him and to rest him from outside to/for city
੧੬ਜਦ ਉਹ ਦੇਰੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
17 and to be like/as to come out: send they [obj] them [the] outside [to] and to say to escape upon soul: life your not to look after you and not to stand: stand in/on/with all [the] talent [the] mountain: mount [to] to escape lest to snatch
੧੭ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਓਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਆਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਬਚਾ ਕੇ ਭੱਜ ਜਾ, ਪਿੱਛੇ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਨਾ ਵੇਖੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਘਾਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਾ ਠਹਿਰੀਂ। ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਭੱਜ ਜਾ, ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਵੀ ਭਸਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਂ।
18 and to say Lot to(wards) them not please Lord
੧੮ਪਰ ਲੂਤ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂਓ, ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ।
19 behold please to find servant/slave your favor in/on/with eye: seeing your and to magnify kindness your which to make: do with me me to/for to live [obj] soul: life my and I not be able to/for to escape [the] mountain: mount [to] lest to cleave me [the] distress: harm and to die
੧੯ਵੇਖੋ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਾਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਯਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਬਤ ਤੱਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੱਜ ਸਕਦਾ, ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਆ ਪਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਮਰ ਜਾਂਵਾਂ।
20 behold please [the] city [the] this near to/for to flee there [to] and he/she/it little to escape please there [to] not little he/she/it and to live soul: life my
੨੦ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਹ ਨਗਰ ਭੱਜਣ ਲਈ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਛੋਟਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣ ਦਿਓ। ਕੀ ਉਹ ਨਗਰ ਛੋਟਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ? ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਬਚ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
21 and to say to(wards) him behold to lift: kindness face: kindness your also to/for word: thing [the] this to/for lest to overturn I [obj] [the] city which to speak: speak
੨੧ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮੰਨ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨਗਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਤੂੰ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਨਾਸ ਨਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
22 to hasten to escape there [to] for not be able to/for to make: do word: thing till to come (in): come you there [to] upon so to call: call by name [the] city Zoar
੨੨ਛੇਤੀ ਕਰ, ਉੱਥੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੱਜ ਜਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਤੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਨਾ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਨਗਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੋਆਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
23 [the] sun to come out: (sun)rise upon [the] land: country/planet and Lot to come (in): come Zoar [to]
੨੩ਸੂਰਜ ਅਜੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੀ ਸੀ, ਜਦ ਲੂਤ ਸੋਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਵੜਿਆ।
24 and LORD to rain upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from with LORD from [the] heaven
੨੪ਤਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਦੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਅਮੂਰਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੰਧਕ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਰਸਾਈ
25 and to overturn [obj] [the] city [the] these and [obj] all [the] talent and [obj] all to dwell [the] city and branch [the] land: soil
੨੫ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਘਾਟੀ ਨੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਪਜ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ।
26 and to look woman: wife his from after him and to be garrison salt
੨੬ਪਰ ਲੂਤ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਲੂਣ ਦਾ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਬਣ ਗਈ।
27 and to rise Abraham in/on/with morning to(wards) [the] place which to stand: stand there with face: before LORD
੨੭ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
28 and to look upon face: before Sodom and Gomorrah and upon all face: before land: country/planet [the] talent and to see: see and behold to ascend: rise smoke [the] land: country/planet like/as smoke [the] kiln
੨੮ਜਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਦੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਅਮੂਰਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਘਾਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵੱਲ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ, ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਧੂੰਆਂ ਭੱਠੀ ਦੇ ਧੂੰਏਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉੱਠ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
29 and to be in/on/with to ruin God [obj] city [the] talent and to remember God [obj] Abraham and to send: depart [obj] Lot from midst [the] overthrow in/on/with to overturn [obj] [the] city which to dwell in/on/with them Lot
੨੯ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਘਾਟੀ ਦੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੂਤ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਬਰਬਾਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ।
30 and to ascend: rise Lot from Zoar and to dwell in/on/with mountain: mount and two daughter his with him for to fear to/for to dwell in/on/with Zoar and to dwell in/on/with cave he/she/it and two daughter his
੩੦ਫੇਰ ਲੂਤ ਨੇ ਸੋਆਰ ਨਗਰ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੱਸ ਗਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸੋਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਣ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਇੱਕ ਗੁਫ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ।
31 and to say [the] firstborn to(wards) [the] little father our be old and man nothing in/on/with land: country/planet to/for to come (in): come upon us like/as way: conduct all [the] land: country/planet
੩੧ਤਦ ਵੱਡੀ ਧੀ ਨੇ ਛੋਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਸਾਡਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਰੀਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਵੇ।
32 to go: come! [emph?] to water: drink [obj] father our wine and to lie down: have sex with him and to live from father our seed: children
੩੨ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆ, ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਧ ਪਿਲਾਈਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਲੇਟੀਏ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖ ਸਕੀਏ।
33 and to water: drink [obj] father their wine in/on/with night he/she/it and to come (in): come [the] firstborn and to lie down: have sex [obj] father her and not to know in/on/with to lie down: have sex she and in/on/with to arise: rise she
੩੩ਫਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਰਾਤ ਮਧ ਪਿਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਧੀ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਲੇਟੀ ਪਰ ਲੂਤ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਲੇਟਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਠਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ।
34 and to be from morrow and to say [the] firstborn to(wards) [the] little look! to lie down: have sex last night [obj] father my to water: drink him wine also [the] night and to come (in): come to lie down: have sex with him and to live from father our seed: children
੩੪ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਵੱਡੀ ਧੀ ਨੇ ਛੋਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਕੱਲ ਰਾਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਲੇਟੀ। ਅਸੀਂ ਅੱਜ ਰਾਤ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਧ ਪਿਲਾਈਏ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਲੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖ ਸਕੀਏ।
35 and to water: drink also in/on/with night [the] he/she/it [obj] father their wine and to arise: rise [the] little and to lie down: have sex with him and not to know in/on/with to lie down: have sex she and in/on/with to arise: rise she
੩੫ਸੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਰਾਤ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਧ ਪਿਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਛੋਟੀ ਧੀ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਲੇਟੀ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਲੇਟਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਠਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ।
36 and to conceive two daughter Lot from father their
੩੬ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੂਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੋਈਆਂ,
37 and to beget [the] firstborn son: child and to call: call by name his Moab he/she/it father Moab till [the] day: today
੩੭ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਧੀ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮੋਆਬ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਉਹ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਮੋਆਬੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੈ।
38 and [the] little also he/she/it to beget son: child and to call: call by name his Ben-ammi Ben-ammi he/she/it father son: descendant/people Ammon till [the] day: today
੩੮ਛੋਟੀ ਧੀ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨ-ਅੰਮੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਉਹ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਅੰਮੋਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੈ।
