Exodus 31
1 and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
Chúa Hằng Hữu phán bảo Môi-se:
2 to see: behold! to call: call to in/on/with name Bezalel son: child Uri son: child Hur to/for tribe Judah
“Ta đã chọn Bê-sa-lê (con trai U-ri, cháu Hu-rơ, thuộc đại tộc Giu-đa),
3 and to fill [obj] him spirit God in/on/with wisdom and in/on/with understanding and in/on/with knowledge and in/on/with all work
cho người này đầy dẫy Thần Linh của Đức Chúa Trời, có trí khôn, khả năng, và khéo tay
4 to/for to devise: design plot to/for to make: do in/on/with gold and in/on/with silver: money and in/on/with bronze
để vẽ kiểu và chế tạo các vật bằng vàng, bạc và đồng,
5 and in/on/with carving stone to/for to fill and in/on/with carving tree: wood to/for to make: do in/on/with all work
để cắt ngọc, chạm gỗ, và làm mọi công tác nghệ thuật khác.
6 and I behold to give: put with him [obj] Oholiab son: child Ahisamach to/for tribe Dan and in/on/with heart all wise heart to give: give wisdom and to make [obj] all which to command you
Ta cũng chọn Ô-hô-li-áp (con trai A-hi-sa-mạc, thuộc đại tộc Đan) làm phụ tá cho Bê-sa-lê. Ngoài ra, Ta còn phú tài năng khéo léo cho một số người khác để họ thực hiện các công tác Ta dặn con làm:
7 [obj] tent meeting and [obj] [the] ark to/for testimony and [obj] [the] mercy seat which upon him and [obj] all article/utensil [the] tent
gồm có Đền Tạm; Hòm Giao Ước; nắp chuộc tội trên Hòm; và mọi dụng cụ khác trong Đền Tạm;
8 and [obj] [the] table and [obj] article/utensil his and [obj] [the] lampstand [the] pure and [obj] all article/utensil her and [obj] altar [the] incense
bàn thờ và đồ phụ tùng; chân đèn bằng vàng ròng và dụng cụ đốt đèn; bàn thờ xông hương;
9 and [obj] altar [the] burnt offering and [obj] all article/utensil his and [obj] [the] basin and [obj] stand his
bàn thờ dâng của lễ thiêu và đồ phụ tùng, bồn rửa; và chân bồn;
10 and [obj] garment [the] braiding and [obj] garment [the] holiness to/for Aaron [the] priest and [obj] garment son: child his to/for to minister
bộ áo lễ thánh của Thầy Tế lễ A-rôn và áo lễ của các con trai người để họ mặc hành chức tế lễ;
11 and [obj] oil [the] anointing and [obj] incense [the] spice to/for Holy Place like/as all which to command you to make: do
dầu xức thánh và hương thơm dùng trong Nơi Thánh. Các thợ thủ công phải theo đúng những chỉ thị Ta đã phán dạy con.”
12 and to say LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
Chúa Hằng Hữu lại phán bảo Môi-se:
13 and you(m. s.) to speak: speak to(wards) son: descendant/people Israel to/for to say surely [obj] Sabbath my to keep: obey for sign: indicator he/she/it between me and between you to/for generation your to/for to know for I LORD to consecrate: consecate you
“Hãy bảo người Ít-ra-ên phải giữ ngày Sa-bát của Ta, vì đây là một dấu hiệu của quy ước giữa Ta và các ngươi, từ thế hệ này sang thế hệ khác. Nhờ giữ ngày này, các ngươi sẽ ý thức được rằng Ta, Chúa Hằng Hữu, đã dành riêng các ngươi cho Ta.
14 and to keep: obey [obj] [the] Sabbath for holiness he/she/it to/for you to profane/begin: profane her to die to die for all [the] to make: do in/on/with her work and to cut: eliminate [the] soul: person [the] he/she/it from entrails: among kinsman her
Phải giữ ngày Sa-bát vì là ngày thánh. Ai xúc phạm đến ngày đó, đều sẽ bị tử hình; người nào làm bất cứ việc gì trong ngày đó sẽ bị loại trừ khỏi dân chúng.
15 six day to make: do work and in/on/with day [the] seventh Sabbath sabbath observance holiness to/for LORD all [the] to make: do work in/on/with day [the] Sabbath to die to die
Làm việc trong sáu ngày, nhưng nghỉ ngày thứ bảy là ngày Sa-bát tức là ngày yên nghỉ và ngày thánh cho Chúa Hằng Hữu. Ai làm bất cứ việc gì trong ngày Sa-bát đều sẽ bị tử hình.
16 and to keep: obey son: descendant/people Israel [obj] [the] Sabbath to/for to make: do [obj] [the] Sabbath to/for generation their covenant forever: enduring
Vậy, người Ít-ra-ên phải giữ ngày Sa-bát, ngày thánh của Chúa Hằng Hữu. Phải tôn trọng quy tắc này mãi mãi, từ thế hệ này sang thế hệ khác.
17 between me and between son: descendant/people Israel sign: indicator he/she/it to/for forever: enduring for six day to make LORD [obj] [the] heaven and [obj] [the] land: country/planet and in/on/with day [the] seventh to cease and be refreshed
Đây là một dấu hiệu vĩnh viễn của quy ước giữa Ta và người Ít-ra-ên. Vì Chúa Hằng Hữu đã sáng tạo trời đất trong sáu ngày, nhưng ngày thứ bảy Ngài nghỉ ngơi và tĩnh dưỡng.”
18 and to give: give to(wards) Moses like/as to end: finish he to/for to speak: speak with him in/on/with mountain: mount Sinai two tablet [the] testimony tablet stone to write in/on/with finger God
Ở trên Núi Si-nai, sau khi đã dặn bảo Môi-se mọi điều, Chúa Hằng Hữu trao cho ông hai bảng “Giao Ước,” tức là hai bảng đá, trên đó Đức Chúa Trời đã dùng ngón tay Ngài viết các điều răn.
