Exodus 20
1 and to speak: speak God [obj] all [the] word [the] these to/for to say
और ख़ुदा ने यह सब बातें फ़रमाई कि
2 (I *L(p)*) LORD (God your *L(p)*) which to come out: send you from land: country/planet Egypt (from house: home *L(p)*) (servant/slave *L(b+p)*)
“ख़ुदावन्द तेरा ख़ुदा जो तुझे मुल्क — ए — मिस्र से और ग़ुलामी के घर से निकाल लाया मैं हूँ।
3 not to be (to/for you God another *L(p)*) upon (face: before my *L(p)*)
“मेरे सामने तू गै़र मा'बूदों को न मानना।
4 not to make (to/for you *L(p)*) idol and all (likeness *L(p)*) (which *L(b+p)*) in/on/with heaven (from above *L(p)*) (and which *L(b+p)*) (in/on/with land: country/planet from underneath: under and which in/on/with water from underneath: under to/for land: country/planet *L(p)*)
“तू अपने लिए कोई तराशी हुई मूरत न बनाना, न किसी चीज़ की सूरत बनाना जो ऊपर आसमान में या नीचे ज़मीन पर या ज़मीन के नीचे पानी में है।
5 not (to bow to/for them *L(p)*) and not (to serve: minister them *L(p)*) for I LORD God your God jealous to reckon: visit iniquity: crime father upon son: child upon third and upon fourth (to/for to hate me *L(p)*)
तू उनके आगे सिज्दा न करना और न उनकी इबादत करना, क्यूँकि मैं ख़ुदावन्द तेरा ख़ुदा ग़य्यूर ख़ुदा हूँ और जो मुझ से 'अदावत रखते हैं उनकी औलाद को तीसरी और चौथी नसल तक बाप दादा की बदकारी की सज़ा देता हूँ।
6 (and to make: do kindness to/for thousand *L(p)*) to/for to love: lover me and to/for to keep: obey commandment my
और हज़ारों पर जो मुझ से मुहब्बत रखते और मेरे हुक्मों को मानते हैं। रहम करता हूँ।
7 not to lift: raise [obj] name LORD God your to/for vanity: vain for not to clear LORD [obj] which to lift: raise [obj] name his to/for vanity: vain
“तू ख़ुदावन्द अपने ख़ुदा का नाम बेफ़ाइदा न लेना, क्यूँकि जो उसका नाम बेफ़ायदा लेता है ख़ुदावन्द उसे बेगुनाह न ठहराएगा।
8 (to remember *L(p)*) [obj] (day [the] Sabbath to/for to consecrate: consecate him *L(p)*)
“याद कर कि तू सबत का दिन पाक मानना।
9 (six day to serve: labour and to make: do *L(p)*) all (work your *L(p)*)
छ: दिन तक तू मेहनत करके अपना सारा काम — काज करना।
10 and day ([the] seventh Sabbath *L(p)*) to/for LORD (God your *L(p)*) not (to make: do *L(p)*) all (work *L(p)*) you(m. s.) and son: child your (and daughter your servant/slave your and maidservant your and animal your and sojourner your which in/on/with gate your *L(p)*)
लेकिन सातवाँ दिन ख़ुदावन्द तेरे ख़ुदा का सबत है; उसमें न तू कोई काम करे न तेरा बेटा, न तेरी बेटी, न तेरा गु़लाम, न तेरी लोंडी, न तेरा चौपाया, न कोई मुसाफ़िर जो तेरे यहाँ तेरे फाटकों के अन्दर हो
11 for six day to make LORD [obj] [the] heaven and [obj] [the] land: country/planet [obj] [the] sea and [obj] all which in/on/with them and to rest in/on/with day [the] seventh upon so to bless LORD [obj] day [the] Sabbath and to consecrate: consecate him
क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द ने छ: दिन में आसमान और ज़मीन और समन्दर और जो कुछ उनमें है वह सब बनाया, और सातवें दिन आराम किया; इसलिए ख़ुदावन्द ने सबत के दिन को बरकत दी और उसे पाक ठहराया।
12 to honor: honour [obj] father your and [obj] mother your because to prolong [emph?] day your upon [the] land: soil which LORD God your to give: give to/for you
“तू अपने बाप और अपनी माँ की इज़्ज़त करना ताकि तेरी उम्र उस मुल्क में जो ख़ुदावन्द तेरा ख़ुदा तुझे देता है दराज़ हो।
13 (not to murder *L(p)*)
“तू ख़ून न करना।
14 (not to commit adultery *L(p)*)
“तू ज़िना न करना।
15 (not to steal *L(p)*)
“तू चोरी न करना।
16 not to answer in/on/with neighbor your witness deception
“तू अपने पड़ोसी के खिलाफ़ झूटी गवाही न देना।
17 not to desire house: home neighbor your not to desire woman: wife neighbor your and servant/slave his and maidservant his and cattle his and donkey his and all which to/for neighbor your
“तू अपने पड़ोसी के घर का लालच न करना; तू अपने पड़ोसी की बीवी का लालच न करना, और न उसके ग़ुलाम और उसकी लौंडी और उसके बैल और उसके गधे का, और न अपने पड़ोसी की किसी और चीज़ का लालच करना।”
18 and all [the] people to see: see [obj] [the] voice: thunder and [obj] [the] torch and [obj] voice: sound [the] trumpet and [obj] [the] mountain: mount smoking and to see: see [the] people and to shake and to stand: stand from distant
और सब लोगों ने बादल गरजते और बिजली चमकते और करना की आवाज़ होते और पहाड़ से धुआँ उठते देखा, और जब लोगों ने यह देखा तो काँप उठे और दूर खड़े हो गए;
19 and to say to(wards) Moses to speak: speak you(m. s.) with us and to hear: hear and not to speak: speak with us God lest to die
और मूसा से कहने लगे, “तू ही हम से बातें किया कर और हम सुन लिया करेंगे; लेकिन ख़ुदा हम से बातें न करे, ऐसा न हो कि हम मर जाएँ।”
20 and to say Moses to(wards) [the] people not to fear for to/for in/on/with for the sake of to test [obj] you to come (in): come [the] God and in/on/with for the sake of to be fear his upon face: before your to/for lest to sin
मूसा ने लोगों से कहा, “तुम डरो मत, क्यूँकि ख़ुदा इसलिए आया है कि तुम्हारा इम्तिहान करे और तुम को उसका ख़ौफ़ हो ताकि तुम गुनाह न करो।”
21 and to stand: stand [the] people from distant and Moses to approach: approach to(wards) [the] cloud which there [the] God
और वह लोग दूर ही खड़े रहे और मूसा उस गहरी तारीकी के नज़दीक गया जहाँ ख़ुदा था।
22 and to say LORD to(wards) Moses thus to say to(wards) son: descendant/people Israel you(m. p.) to see: see for from [the] heaven to speak: speak with you
और ख़ुदावन्द ने मूसा से कहा, तू बनी — इस्राईल से यह कहना कि 'तुम ने ख़ुद देखा कि मैंने आसमान पर से तुम्हारे साथ बातें कीं।
23 not to make [emph?] with me God silver: money and God gold not to make to/for you
तुम मेरे साथ किसी को शरीक न करना, या'नी चाँदी या सोने के देवता अपने लिए न गढ़ लेना।
24 altar land: soil to make to/for me and to sacrifice upon him [obj] burnt offering your and [obj] peace offering your [obj] flock your and [obj] cattle your in/on/with all [the] place which to remember [obj] name my to come (in): come to(wards) you and to bless you
और तू मिट्टी की एक क़ुर्बानगाह मेरे लिए बनाया करना, और उस पर अपनी भेंड़ बकरियों और गाय — बैल की सोख़्तनी कु़र्बानियाँ और सलामती की क़ुर्बानियाँ पेश करना और जहाँ — जहाँ मैं अपने नाम की यादगारी कराऊँगा वहाँ मैं तेरे पास आकर तुझे बरकत दूँगा।
25 and if altar stone to make to/for me not to build [obj] them cutting for sword your to wave upon her and to profane/begin: profane her
और अगर तू मेरे लिए पत्थर की क़ुर्बानगाह बनाए तो तराशे हुए पत्थर से न बनाना, क्यूँकि अगर तू उस पर अपने औज़ार लगाए तो तू उसे नापाक कर देगा।
26 and not to ascend: rise in/on/with step upon altar my which not to reveal: uncover nakedness your upon him
और तू मेरी क़ुर्बानगाह पर सीढ़ियों से हरगिज़ न चढ़ना ऐसा न हो कि तेरा नंगापन उस पर ज़ाहिर हो।
