“Gblɔ na Israelviwo be woatrɔ aɖo ta Pi Hahirɔt, le Migdol kple atsiaƒu la dome le Baal Zefon ŋgɔ, eye woaƒu asaɖa anyi ɖe ƒu la nu,
3 and to say Pharaoh to/for son: descendant/people Israel to perplex they(masc.) in/on/with land: country/planet to shut upon them [the] wilderness
elabena Farao abu be, ‘Israelvi mawo xaxa ɖe ƒu la kple gbegbe la dome!’
4 and to strengthen: strengthen [obj] heart Pharaoh and to pursue after them and to honor: honour in/on/with Pharaoh and in/on/with all strength: soldiers his and to know Egyptian for I LORD and to make: do so
Magana Farao nagasẽ dzi me, eye wòati mia yome. Mewɔ ɖoɖo sia ale be makpɔ bubu kple ŋutikɔkɔe gã ɖe Farao kple eƒe aʋakɔ dzi. Ale Egiptetɔwo anya be nyee nye Yehowa.” Ale woƒu asaɖa anyi ɖe afi si Mose fia wo la.
5 and to tell to/for king Egypt for to flee [the] people and to overturn heart Pharaoh and servant/slave his to(wards) [the] people and to say what? this to make: do for to send: let go [obj] Israel from to serve us
Esi Egipte fia se be Israelviwo meɖo ta me be yewoagbugbɔ va Egipte le ŋkeke etɔ̃ megbe o, ke boŋ yewoayi mɔzɔzɔ dzi la, Farao kple eŋumewo ƒe mo nyra, eye dzi gaɖo wo ƒo. Wobia be, “Nu kae nye esi míewɔ be míeɖe asi le Israelviwo ŋu wodzo eye míebu woƒe subɔsubɔdɔ nyuitɔwo?”
6 and to bind [obj] chariot his and [obj] people: soldiers his to take: take with him
Ale Farao na wodzra eƒe tasiaɖam ɖo nɛ, eye wòkplɔ eƒe aʋakɔ ɖe asi.
7 and to take: take six hundred chariot to choose and all chariot Egypt and officer upon all his
Etia tasiaɖam nyuitɔ alafa ade kpe ɖe tasiaɖam bubu siwo katã nɔ Egipte la ŋu, eye wòtsɔ asrafomegãwo ɖo ɖe sia ɖe nu.
8 and to strengthen: strengthen LORD [obj] heart Pharaoh king Egypt and to pursue after son: descendant/people Israel and son: descendant/people Israel to come out: come in/on/with hand to exalt
Yehowa na Egipte fia Farao ƒe dzi me sẽ ɖe edzi, ale wòti Israelvi siwo nɔ azɔli dzi dzideƒotɔe la yome.

Wowɔ Farao ƒe sɔwo, tasiaɖamwo, sɔdolawo kple aʋawɔla bubuawo katã ŋu dɔ le wo yometiti me. Egiptetɔwo va tu Israelviwo, esi woƒu asaɖa anyi ɖe ƒu la to, te ɖe Pi Hahirɔt ŋu le Baal Zefon ŋgɔ.

Esi Egiptetɔwo ƒe aʋakɔ gbɔna la, Israelviwo kpɔ wo ɖaa le adzɔge ke, eye vɔvɔ̃ ɖo wo ŋutɔ. Wodo ɣli na Yehowa be wòakpe ɖe yewo ŋu.
11 and to say to(wards) Moses from without nothing grave in/on/with Egypt to take: take us to/for to die in/on/with wilderness what? this to make: do to/for us to/for to come out: send us from Egypt
Wotrɔ ɖe Mose gbɔ helĩ liʋĩliʋĩ be, “Ɖe nèkplɔ mí va afi sia be míaku ɖe gbedzi, elabena yɔdowo mele Egipte oa? Nu kae nye esi nèwɔ be nèkplɔ mí do goe tso Egipte?
12 not this [the] word: thing which to speak: speak to(wards) you in/on/with Egypt to/for to say to cease from us and to serve [obj] Egyptian for pleasant to/for us to serve [obj] Egyptian from to die we in/on/with wilderness
“Menye esiae míegblɔ na wò esime míenɔ Egipte la be, ‘Ɖe asi le mía ŋu kpoo ne míasubɔ Egiptetɔwo’ oa? Anyo na mí be míasubɔ Egiptetɔwo wu be míaku ɖe gbegbe!”
13 and to say Moses to(wards) [the] people not to fear to stand and to see: see [obj] salvation LORD which to make: do to/for you [the] day for which to see: see [obj] Egyptian [the] day not to add: again to/for to see: see them still till forever: enduring
Ke Mose ɖo eŋu na wo be, “Migavɔ̃ o, minɔ te ɖe afi si miele la ko, milé ŋku ɖe nuwo ŋu, eye miakpɔ nukumɔ si dzi Yehowa aɖe mi toe egbe la ɖa. Egiptetɔ siwo kpɔm miele fifia la, miagakpɔ wo akpɔ o.
14 LORD to fight to/for you and you(m. p.) be quiet [emph?]
Yehowa awɔ aʋa na mi; miawo ya mizi kpoo nɛ ko.”
15 and to say LORD to(wards) Moses what? to cry to(wards) me to speak: speak to(wards) son: descendant/people Israel and to set out
Yehowa gblɔ na Mose be, “Nu ka ŋuti nèle ɣli dom nam? Gblɔ na Israelviwo be woaɖe zɔ, ayi ŋgɔ
16 and you(m. s.) to exalt [obj] tribe: rod your and to stretch [obj] hand your upon [the] sea and to break up/open him and to come (in): come son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with midst [the] sea in/on/with dry land
Do wò atikplɔ la ɖe dzi, eye nàdo wò asi ɖe atsiaƒu la dzi be atsiaƒutsi la nama ɖe eve, ale be Israelviwo nato atsiaƒu la me ayi le anyigba ƒuƒui dzi.
17 and I look! I to strengthen: strengthen [obj] heart Egyptian and to come (in): come after them and to honor: honour in/on/with Pharaoh and in/on/with all strength: soldiers his in/on/with chariot his and in/on/with horseman his
Mana Egiptetɔwo ƒe dzi me nasẽ be woadze Israelviwo yome, eye makɔ nye ŋkɔ ŋuti to Farao kple eƒe aʋakɔwo kple tasiaɖamwo kple sɔdolawo dzi.
18 and to know Egyptian for I LORD in/on/with to honor: honour I in/on/with Pharaoh in/on/with chariot his and in/on/with horseman his
Egiptetɔwo anya be nyee nye Yehowa, ne mekɔ nye ŋkɔ ŋuti to Farao, eƒe tasiaɖamwo kple eƒe sɔdolawo dzi.”
19 and to set out messenger: angel [the] God [the] to go: went to/for face: before camp Israel and to go: went from after them and to set out pillar [the] cloud from face: before their and to stand: stand from after them
Mawudɔla si nɔ Israelviwo kplɔm la trɔ yi Israelviwo megbe, nenema ke lilikpo dodo si nɔ wo ŋgɔ la hã trɔ yi wo megbe,
20 and to come (in): come between camp Egypt and between camp Israel and to be [the] cloud and [the] darkness and to light [obj] [the] night and not to present: come this to(wards) this all [the] night
ale wòtɔ ɖe Egipte ƒe aʋakɔwo kple Israelviwo dome. Le zã blibo la me la, lilikpo la na viviti do ɖe akpa ɖeka, eye kekeli do ɖe akpa kemɛ, ale wo dometɔ aɖeke mete ɖe nɔvia ŋu le zã blibo la me o.
21 and to stretch Moses [obj] hand his upon [the] sea and to go: send LORD [obj] [the] sea in/on/with spirit: breath east strong all [the] night and to set: make [obj] [the] sea to/for dry ground and to break up/open [the] water
Tete Mose tsɔ eƒe asi do ɖe ƒu la dzi. Ale zã blibo la Yehowa tutu atsiaƒu la ɖe megbe to ɣedzeƒeya sesẽ aɖe dzi, eye wòna anyigba ƒuƒui dze. Tsi la ma ɖe akpa eve,
22 and to come (in): come son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with midst [the] sea in/on/with dry land and [the] water to/for them wall from right their and from left their
eye Israelviwo zɔ to atsiaƒu la me le anyigba ƒuƒui dzi, ale tsi la zu gli ɖe woƒe ɖusime kple miame.
23 and to pursue Egyptian and to come (in): come after them all horse Pharaoh chariot his and horseman his to(wards) midst [the] sea
Egiptetɔwo, Farao ƒe sɔwo, tasiaɖamwo kple sɔdolawo dze wo yome to atsiaƒu la ƒe gliwo me, eye woawo hã wonɔ atsiaƒu la ƒe ƒuƒuiƒe zɔm.
24 and to be in/on/with watch [the] morning and to look LORD to(wards) camp Egyptian in/on/with pillar fire and cloud and to confuse [obj] camp Egyptian
Ke le ŋdi kanya la, Yehowa kplɔ Egiptetɔwo ƒe aʋakɔ la to dzo bibi la me, eye wòde tɔtɔ wo dome.
25 and to turn aside: turn aside [obj] wheel chariot his and to lead him in/on/with heaviness and to say Egypt to flee from face: before Israel for LORD to fight to/for them (in/on/with Egypt *LB(ha)*)
Woƒe tasiaɖamwo ƒe afɔwo de asi dodo me le wo te. Ale woƒe tasiaɖamwo de asi anyigbatete me. Egiptetɔwo do ɣli be, “Mina míadzo le Israel nu. Yehowa le aʋa wɔm kpli mí na wo!”
26 and to say LORD to(wards) Moses to stretch [obj] hand your upon [the] sea and to return: return [the] water upon Egypt upon chariot his and upon horseman his
Yehowa gblɔ na Mose be, “Gada wò asi ɖe atsiaƒu la dzi ale be tsigliawo namu adze Egiptetɔwo, woƒe tasiaɖamwo kple woƒe sɔdolawo dzi.”
27 and to stretch Moses [obj] hand his upon [the] sea and to return: return [the] sea to/for to turn morning to/for strong his and Egypt to flee to/for to encounter: toward him and to shake LORD [obj] Egypt in/on/with midst [the] sea
Mose wɔ alea, eye esi ŋu ke la, atsiaƒu la gazu abe ale si wònɔ tsã ene. Egiptetɔwo dze agbagba be yewoasi, ke Yehowa na atsiaƒutsi la ŋe tsyɔ wo dzi.
28 and to return: return [the] water and to cover [obj] [the] chariot and [obj] [the] horseman to/for all strength: soldiers Pharaoh [the] to come (in): come after them in/on/with sea not to remain in/on/with them till one
Ale tsi la gbugbɔ yi enɔƒe hetsyɔ tasiaɖamwo, sɔdolawo kple Farao ƒe aʋakɔ blibo la, si dze Israelviwo yome ge ɖe atsiaƒu la me dzi. Wo dometɔ ɖeka pɛ gɔ̃ hã metsi agbe o.
29 and son: descendant/people Israel to go: walk in/on/with dry land in/on/with midst [the] sea and [the] water to/for them wall from right their (and from left their *LB(ah)*)
Israelviwo zɔ anyigba ƒuƒui dzi hetso ƒu la, esime tsi la trɔ zu gli ɖe woƒe ɖusime kple miame.
30 and to save LORD in/on/with day [the] he/she/it [obj] Israel from hand: power Egypt and to see: see Israel [obj] Egypt to die upon lip: shore [the] sea
Ale Yehowa ɖe Israelviwo gbe ma gbe tso Egiptetɔwo ƒe asi me. Israelviwo kpɔ Egiptetɔwo woku, eye atsiaƒu la ɖe woƒe kukuawo ƒu gbe ɖe gota.
31 and to see: see Israel [obj] [the] hand: power [the] great: large which to make: do LORD in/on/with Egypt and to fear: revere [the] people [obj] LORD and be faithful in/on/with LORD and in/on/with Moses servant/slave his
Esime Israelviwo kpɔ nukunu triakɔ si Yehowa wɔ na wo ɖe Egiptetɔwo ŋu la, wovɔ̃, wode bubu Yehowa ŋu, eye woxɔ eya kple eƒe dɔla Mose dzi se.
