Un ķēniņa jaunekļi uz viņu sacīja: redzi, Amans stāv pagalmā. Tad ķēniņš sacīja: lai viņš nāk iekšā.

Tad Amans nāca iekšā, un ķēniņš uz to sacīja: ko būs darīt tādam vīram, ko ķēniņš labprāt grib godāt? Tad Amans domāja savā sirdī: kurš būs, ko ķēniņš grib godāt, nekā es pats?
7 and to say Haman to(wards) [the] king man which [the] king to delight in in/on/with preciousness his
Tādēļ Amans sacīja uz ķēniņu: Tam vīram, ko ķēniņš grib godāt,
8 to come (in): bring clothing royalty which to clothe in/on/with him [the] king and horse which to ride upon him [the] king and which to give: put crown royalty in/on/with head his
Tam būs nest ķēniņa drēbes, ar ko ķēniņš pats mēdz apģērbties, un zirgu, uz kā ķēniņš mēdz jāt un kam valstības kronis likts uz galvas.
9 and to give: give [the] clothing and [the] horse upon hand: to man from ruler [the] king [the] noble and to clothe [obj] [the] man which [the] king to delight in in/on/with preciousness his and to ride him upon [the] horse in/on/with street/plaza [the] city and to call: call out to/for face: before his thus to make: do to/for man which [the] king to delight in in/on/with preciousness his
Un to drēbi ar to zirgu būs rokā dot vienam no tiem lielkungiem un to vīru, ko ķēniņš grib godāt, ar to būs apģērbt, un viņam likt jāt uz tā zirga pa pilsētas ielām un viņa priekšā izsaukt: tā dara tam vīram, ko ķēniņš grib godāt.

Tad ķēniņš sacīja uz Amanu: steidzies, ņem to drēbi un to zirgu, tā kā tu esi runājis, un dari tā tam Jūdam Mardakajam, kas sēž ķēniņa vārtos, un lai netrūkst neviena vārda no visa, ko tu esi runājis.

Un Amans teica savai sievai Zeresai un visiem saviem draugiem visu, kas viņam bija noticis. Tad viņa gudrie un Zeresa, viņa sieva, uz to sacīja: ja Mardakajs, kā priekšā tu esi iesācis krist, ir no Jūdu dzimuma, tad tu pret viņu nekā neiespēsi, bet tu viņa priekšā krizdams kritīsi.

Kad tie vēl ar viņu runāja, tad ķēniņa kambarjunkuri atnāca un steigšus Amanu noveda dzīrēs, ko Estere bija sataisījusi.
