Ephesians 5
1 to be therefore/then imitator the/this/who God as/when child beloved
अतो यूयं प्रियबालका इवेश्वरस्यानुकारिणो भवत,

ख्रीष्ट इव प्रेमाचारं कुरुत च, यतः सोऽस्मासु प्रेम कृतवान् अस्माकं विनिमयेन चात्मनिवेदनं कृत्वा ग्राह्यसुगन्धार्थकम् उपहारं बलिञ्चेश्वराच दत्तवान्।
3 sexual sin then and impurity all or greediness nor to name in/on/among you as/just as be proper holy: saint
किन्तु वेश्यागमनं सर्व्वविधाशौचक्रिया लोभश्चैतेषाम् उच्चारणमपि युष्माकं मध्ये न भवतु, एतदेव पवित्रलोकानाम् उचितं।
4 and obscenity and foolish talk or vulgar jesting (which *N(k)O*) no (be fitting *N(k)O*) but more: rather thankfulness
अपरं कुत्सितालापः प्रलापः श्लेषोक्तिश्च न भवतु यत एतान्यनुचितानि किन्त्वीश्वरस्य धन्यवादो भवतु।

वेश्यागाम्यशौचाचारी देवपूजक इव गण्यो लोभी चैतेषां कोषि ख्रीष्टस्य राज्येऽर्थत ईश्वरस्य राज्ये कमप्यधिकारं न प्राप्स्यतीति युष्माभिः सम्यक् ज्ञायतां।

अनर्थकवाक्येन कोऽपि युष्मान् न वञ्चयतु यतस्तादृगाचारहेतोरनाज्ञाग्राहिषु लोकेष्वीश्वरस्य कोपो वर्त्तते।

तस्माद् यूयं तैः सहभागिनो न भवत।

पूर्व्वं यूयम् अन्धकारस्वरूपा आध्वं किन्त्विदानीं प्रभुना दीप्तिस्वरूपा भवथ तस्माद् दीप्तेः सन्ताना इव समाचरत।

दीप्ते र्यत् फलं तत् सर्व्वविधहितैषितायां धर्म्मे सत्यालापे च प्रकाशते।

प्रभवे यद् रोचते तत् परीक्षध्वं।
11 and not to share with the/this/who work the/this/who unfruitful the/this/who darkness more: rather then and to rebuke
यूयं तिमिरस्य विफलकर्म्मणाम् अंशिनो न भूत्वा तेषां दोषित्वं प्रकाशयत।

यतस्ते लोका रहमि यद् यद् आचरन्ति तदुच्चारणम् अपि लज्जाजनकं।

यतो दीप्त्या यद् यत् प्रकाश्यते तत् तया चकास्यते यच्च चकास्ति तद् दीप्तिस्वरूपं भवति।

एतत्कारणाद् उक्तम् आस्ते, "हे निद्रित प्रबुध्यस्व मृतेभ्यश्चोत्थितिं कुरु। तत्कृते सूर्य्यवत् ख्रीष्टः स्वयं त्वां द्योतयिष्यति।"
15 to see therefore/then exactly how! to walk not as/when unwise but as/when wise
अतः सावधाना भवत, अज्ञाना इव माचरत किन्तु ज्ञानिन इव सतर्कम् आचरत।
16 to redeem the/this/who time/right time that/since: since the/this/who day evil/bad to be
समयं बहुमूल्यं गणयध्वं यतः काला अभद्राः।
17 through/because of this/he/she/it not to be foolish but (to understand *N(k)O*) which? the/this/who will/desire the/this/who lord: God
तस्माद् यूयम् अज्ञाना न भवत किन्तु प्रभोरभिमतं किं तदवगता भवत।
18 and not to get drunk wine in/on/among which to be debauchery but to fulfill in/on/among spirit/breath: spirit
सर्व्वनाशजनकेन सुरापानेन मत्ता मा भवत किन्त्वात्मना पूर्य्यध्वं।
19 to speak themself (in/on/among *n*) psalm and hymn and song spiritual to sing and to sing praise (in/on/among *ko*) the/this/who heart you the/this/who lord: God
अपरं गीतै र्गानैः पारमार्थिककीर्त्तनैश्च परस्परम् आलपन्तो मनसा सार्द्धं प्रभुम् उद्दिश्य गायत वादयत च।

सर्व्वदा सर्व्वविषयेऽस्मत्प्रभो यीशोः ख्रीष्टस्य नाम्ना तातम् ईश्वरं धन्यं वदत।

यूयम् ईश्वराद् भीताः सन्त अन्येऽपरेषां वशीभूता भवत।

हे योषितः, यूयं यथा प्रभोस्तथा स्वस्वस्वामिनो वशङ्गता भवत।

यतः ख्रीष्टो यद्वत् समिते र्मूर्द्धा शरीरस्य त्राता च भवति तद्वत् स्वामी योषितो मूर्द्धा।

अतः समिति र्यद्वत् ख्रीष्टस्य वशीभूता तद्वद् योषिद्भिरपि स्वस्वस्वामिनो वशता स्वीकर्त्तव्या।

अपरञ्च हे पुरुषाः, यूयं ख्रीष्ट इव स्वस्वयोषित्सु प्रीयध्वं।

स ख्रीष्टोऽपि समितौ प्रीतवान् तस्याः कृते च स्वप्राणान् त्यक्तवान् यतः स वाक्ये जलमज्जनेन तां परिष्कृत्य पावयितुम्

अपरं तिलकवल्यादिविहीनां पवित्रां निष्कलङ्काञ्च तां समितिं तेजस्विनीं कृत्वा स्वहस्ते समर्पयितुञ्चाभिलषितवान्।

तस्मात् स्वतनुवत् स्वयोषिति प्रेमकरणं पुरुषस्योचितं, येन स्वयोषिति प्रेम क्रियते तेनात्मप्रेम क्रियते।

कोऽपि कदापि न स्वकीयां तनुम् ऋतीयितवान् किन्तु सर्व्वे तां विभ्रति पुष्णन्ति च। ख्रीष्टोऽपि समितिं प्रति तदेव करोति,

यतो वयं तस्य शरीरस्याङ्गानि मांसास्थीनि च भवामः।

एतदर्थं मानवः स्वमातापितरोै परित्यज्य स्वभार्य्यायाम् आसंक्ष्यति तौ द्वौ जनावेकाङ्गौ भविष्यतः।

एतन्निगूढवाक्यं गुरुतरं मया च ख्रीष्टसमिती अधि तद् उच्यते।

अतएव युष्माकम् एकैको जन आत्मवत् स्वयोषिति प्रीयतां भार्य्यापि स्वामिनं समादर्त्तुं यततां।
